JZ, you are still rocking hard!!! 23 pounds is mind-blowing. It was just a week or two ago and you were back at 14 or so!

Back at the start of your journey I read someones comment about you picking 'too high a weight-loss goal' .....But you are proving them wrong and have gone from kick ass to kicker-asser! I have no doubts you WILL succeed, but you already know that don't you!


PS: Your 15 minute wall-sit is in the firing lines brother!

Thanks everyone for the great praises... I've been hit by the flu for the past two days :(
Monday was good, ate great all day, my workout in the AM was very hard, but was what I needed.

Tuesday and Wednesday... not too good. Kind of depressed about not being able to workout!! I never thought I would say that! My diet has been water, saltines, and the occasional gatoraid to help with hydration/electrolytes. I am feeling better, and hopefully tomorrow... I'll be back to myself again!! :)
 
but you have to listen to your body too....because if you dont, and you over exhaust yourself...it wil be worse for you in the long run..

hope you fee better soon!!

Sounds like it hit you a little harder than it hit me. I had to take a day off, but was able to do some light stuff today. Get well brother, gotta have my fellow ass kicker back in shape.

Well, I'm back to feeling normal again! I didn't do anything Tuesday and Wednesday, but I figure... in the long run, what is two missed workouts really going to do?!?!? Today, I performed HIIT on my elliptical. Kicked my butt for 35 minutes. Cycled between really fast with no resistance to really slow with major resistance. Good workout that left me feeling HIGH!! On a down side... I am STARVING today. So damn HUNGRY!!! I packed my cooler for the day with my healthy meals, and am 75% through the alotted food for the day. All I have left in my cooler is dinner!!!! I'll take in more HEALTHY calories today, hopefully with the past two days of being sick, I can afford to do that! I just want to stay on track, and keep kickin' butt!!! We shall see.
 
Glad to see you're feeling better! I'm sure having a few extra HEALTHY calories won't hurt you, especially considering you hardly ate anything for the past two days. :)
 
nice with the HIIT! Ugh, and I know how you feel about going through the alloted food too quickly--been there, done that. As a last resort, much on something low-cal-high-fiber like beans or carrots or something. Like a bunny!!!

Two missed days will not affect your rollercoaster of a mission! You are back on track and racing toward goal again!

Have you thought about mushroom? I just got into them big time. I had 18 larges ones last night for dinner and it cost me less than 60 callories and left me completely full. Plus, they are 50-50 protein carbs!!!

Keep rocking hard, jz!!!!
 
Great upperbody workout this morning!!! My shoulders are better and it felt great to blast them!!! Tomorrow... I'm hittin' the jumprope!! Going for 500 jumps straight!! Eating was great all day, and have my spicy chicken breast and brown rice for dinner tonight instead of the pizza I'm giving to the kids! This is hard, but I feel good about it! Should be another busy weekend, my oldest son has two soccer games, my daughter has gymnastics, and my youngest son will be "challenging" as always!! NO REST FOR DADDY!!! It's a good thing my energy has been going higher and higher each week!! I'm slidin' out of the Lose it by Christmas challenge... It's to much coordination for me right now. I was always confused where to post and blah blah blah. I'll keep my "official" weigh ins on Monday mornings.
 
Woo! for the good workout! Busy weekends can be nice, they keep you moving in some way and don't leave you room to just sit around!
