Justina: Back to square one - very excited & determined to do this right

Nooo that SUCKS about the cinnamon rolls!!!! I made more again today... I still can't think what went wrong. Are you following her in the video? I don't use the recipe on the site, I follow what she does on that second video and I've never had a problem. Was your water just boiled when you used it? And what oven temp did you use? I bake them at 180C for 40mins in mine, and I've made them both in a round glass dish and a 6 hole muffin tin.

Happy anniversary, enjoy the champagne!

Hey Justina, super congrats !! - you are doing FABULOUSLY.

:hurray:8 lbs weight loss is amazing. I bet you feel amazing too! :hurray:

Juicing is a fab idea, choc-ful of vitamins, and will help curb craving for sweet things - which is my little problem :)

:cheers2: Hope you had a great anniversary ! :cheers2:

8lbs is awesome missy!

I hope you don't think I'm picking on you with the mini challenge I chose. I know you're drinking calories the healthy way, but drinking zero calories a day eliminates way more unhealthy choices and eating fruits and veggies is better for you.

You need to beat me in pounds lost this week and pick the next mini challenge! Oh yeah, you'll have to beat everybody else, but I already planned on doing that. Yep, I'm trash talking my own team member. Lets do this!

:eek2::eek: What the living hell?! Where have I been?! This is so awesome Justina! I am so proud of you. You have really been eating great foods and working hard. I am happy you are getting such amazing results

HAHAHA!! Thanks Xenon! That was cute!!! First week - that's what it is.

Happy anniversary for tomorrow, enjoy the cake!

Thanks Anna! The cake was yummy!

Thanks Sophia! I feel pretty good yes! I love juicing- I find it really refreshing!!

Thanks Quercus! I m pretty happy with my weight loss so far. I am actually happy to go lower than 6lbs a week. I ll be pretty happy with 4lbs. & long as it's going down :D I know the first week is always better than the weeks that follow.

About your challenge - I drink my veggie juice as a meal replacement. If that counts as drinking calories, then I can say I m having a cold veggie soup (e.g gazpacho)...works for me. If it's not accepted, then we lose points over it. :( I am not prepared to give up my weekly veggie juice meals - I don't think that diet soda is healthier or promotes weight loss more.

Yesterday was pretty good! Anniversary & all that! :coolgleamA:

We had a great meal for lunch! Turkey & roasted veggies, with a glass champagne & chocolate cake - defo an occasional treat!!!
It was pretty awesome though :D

In the afternoon we went out on the track - the weather was pretty good - and did brisk walking for an hour. We were so lucky with the weather! I was sunny & 14 C!

i didn't actually juice last night - I was going to - but since it takes time (an hour) & we ended up watching a movie & somehow time just flew by.. I ate fruit instead & drank loads of water/herbal tea.

The scale rewarded me this morning :) again - not naming numbers until weigh in day - i hope the trend continues though.

I will update later with my food, water intake & exercise.

Ya, I would certainly take your temperatures. We are actually not too cold today at -10, but +10 would be better! Glad you had a good day yesterday!

Keep up the fine work Justina. Sounds like you celebrated in style. My celebrations tend to involve a bottle of Mad Dog 20/20 and an arrest. Good to see you doing it with more panache.

Glad you had a great anniversary! I'm jealous of your warm temps! It's cooooold here. lol!

Thanks! super cold up north then! do you get snow too?

MrVee- always making me smile! well we are in a funny situation with all our friends & family far far away - so no big parties for a while

What a very slow day today...

I had a great day food wise though:

B:ezekiel toast with cream cheese & herbal coffee
S: banana & raw cacao nibs
L: Leftover turkey in cibatta bread & salad
S: Defrosted blueberries
D: Sauerkraut soup with (Still) leftover turkey - change of plans here - orginally was gonna make vegetable juice but I still had turkey - I didn't want to put it back for another night in the fridge. i wanted it gone.

Exercise: belly dance :willy_nilly: day! - 45 mins & 15 mins body sculpting....
Water: 2l+ & currently sipping my favorite herbal tea unsweetened

Edit: i am having after dinner snacks:dried mango....ahhh sugar rush!!!

Hi Justina,

Your food choices sound too delicious for me.. I may stay away from your threads from now on..

All the best!

Brrrr cold...ok ok i know some of you have snow and even colder temperature. But I don't even have a winter coat here. I didn't think it was necessary.
& yet we had -4 degrees this morning (25 F - I m still not used to F - have everything set to C)

Today i tried a new food & it's yum!!! I wouldn't want to call it a burger. According to my husband: if it doesn't have meat it's not a burger.
So I made it mainly with quinoa & sweet potato (my husband hates it, yet he didn't notice it, so shhh!! )
It came out really welll!! Here is the recipe if anyone is interested.
It's really simple & easy to make. Did I mention it's only about 120 kcal/burger? :cheers2:

Here is my food today:
B: Ezekiel bread + cream cheese - herbal coffee
S: Banana + raw cacao nibs
L: Homemade quinoa masala burger on cibatta & salad
S: Bluberries
D: Tuna salad

Exercise: planning on going to the gym - will update later
Water: so far about 1l - another 1l to go...

Thanks Mystic! :coolgleamA:

--------------------------------------------

I am so tired today & have bit of a headache...ToM
I just want my bed!!
But before I need to brag about my exercise - this is quite an achievement for me!! I haven't done this much exercise in a very long time.
60 mins Eliptical
20 mins Treadmill

Woohooooooooooo! :hurray:

Now bed time..night night!

Wow Justina - you are doing fab! You can brag all the way cause you are doing great in the exercise department. I wish I can get that motivation. I stare at my treadmill and think ok tomorrow and tomorrow just never comes. So well done on you!!
