From 230 to 140. Woo!

The only other post I've ever made here was the night I decided to really change. It was about 5 months ago.
Pretty much, just existing was uncomfortable for me. I hated myself so much. I don't know why I waited so long to do this for myself.

At my worst, I was about 230 lbs. I am now down to 175. It's definitely not as much as many of you have accomplished here, but it's definitely something I'm proud of. And I'm not done yet. This is technically my in-between thread.

These first few pictures are me at around Christmas last year.
I don't have many good pictures for this purpose, because I avoided cameras back then, and I never really believed in myself enough to take the typical "Before" pictures, because I figured I wouldn't accomplish enough for "After" pictures for this site.

Now for the pictures of how I currently look....
Be warned, I'm not wearing a shirt:

I still plan on losing more weight. Maybe in a few months, I can post some more pictures of my progress :D

EDIT:
Well, it's a few months later, and I have made more progress. I'm down to 140 pounds. I need to start building muscle now.

Here's a few pics that I tried to make look similar to the last few.

These are at 140

So all together, this makes 90 pounds that I lost.
From 230, to 140.

Now time to gain a little weight in muscle and I will be happy :)

Great job dude!!

I'm pretty much in the same boat.. I started at 245ish around May and really focused on losing weight during the summer. I ended up losing about 30 pounds during the summer then focused mainly on maintaining until now. My focus is to now get down to around 180. Your pics and story are a great inspiration.. Thanks for sharing man.

Wow! There's a huge change already.. Im waiting forward to see what you will peel out of yourself!=) And yes, all of you who have made it, are a great inspiration to other people who are on their way there..

Im also beginner with this weightloss project of mine, even ive tried and tried millions of times..

Great Job! You are looking great. You may really benefit from hitting the weights and building some muscle mass. This will stoke your metabolism and help burn those last few pounds off. Keep it up!

Wow, you really don't look like the same person! Great job, I look forward to seeing what else you can do :)

Definitely awesome progress! I hope you continue your progress through the new year. ^.~
Also your skin is looking better and your hair looks a lot better in the after headshot. But you have great eyes and really nice eyebrows for a boy, maybe a little shorter bangs would also elongate your face. lol no need to hide under that hair! It's good to see the confidence boost you have gotten as well. Good luck man!

Congrats on your success brother. Would love to know what you did! HOpe you stick around and post more man!

that is great motivation for me as you were the weight that I am currently at. You also are built about the same as myself. What exactly did you do to lose all the weight if you don't mind me asking.

I've updated the first post with a few pictures, and lost 40 more pounds to bring it to a grand total of 90 lost.

Also, here's some photos of me actually in a shirt.

Wow you look GREAT.. And I hope you dont mind me saying.. but Daaamn, you are CUTE :)

Thanks :D

And the way I have lost so much weight... Well, it probably hasn't been the best way, but it worked for me.

I really like cereal, so I just eat that for two meals a day usually, then eat anything for one meal, as long as I don't overeat. For the first few months, I did about 30 minutes to an hour of cardio each day (Exercise bike) while I watched TV or played videogames. Because I'm a nerd like that :p

For the past few months, I haven't done much as far as exercising, I've just been eating cereal, and staying away from unhealthy fast food and stuff. I still occasionally eat bad food, but not all the time. And I don't drink soda, just water.

Buuut yeah. This has definitely made a huge change in my life. It's been a big confidence boost, and just being in public places isn't insanely uncomfortable anymore. I'm glad I finally got around to trying to lose weight.
