you were barely a twinkle in your daddy's eye![]()
I was born in 1981. Hopefully I was more than a twinkle!

Yuppers.
And if Armageddon is truly upon us as some loonies would like us to believe, well...
Then it's time for survival of the fittest.
And I've been training for that my entire life.
You might get arrested too, lol.
I think if it came down to survival of the fittest, I'd try not to run much. Energy would be scarce so it would be all about stealth and power. Energy conservation would be of utmost importance.
BTW, I'm glad you're running again and it feels good. I ran that half marathon that Miss JB and Melissa did on Sunday, and it was amazing to me because I didn't know I could run that far with the pace I kept. Perhaps it was all the yuppies around me. I was no yuppie--I wore a BANDANNA, not a visor!![]()

I'd simply rather be working on explosiveness.

I heard it's great for, what is it? Fast twitch muscles, or something? And subsequently is good training for running--I'm back to reading the NSCA Handbook. I was getting a pedicure and the lady next to me asked me (as if I was a trainer, I was just reading) what exercises were good for her knee, after her surgery. I warned her I was just reading, but we looked up what she had and this and that, it was a positive experience for both of us
You're so cute with your "reflective and relaxing" cardioWhatever makes you happy, right?
Bulking is not my cup of tea. It was, though, once!![]()
So would being a good marksman... bullets will eventually be at a premium, less wasted the better.![]()
Tru dat.
I need to hit up the local target range.
Or just drive around offing people from a moving vehicle that happen to piss me off.

Do you think you'll ever get around to taking that exam?
I think so--I haven't made it a priority because I got side-tracked by getting my job back to full time, then getting the Saturday job pouring at the winery. But I LOVE to study and I LIKE to be able to help people. I also know I have a plethora of resources if i have any questions, on hereIt's a decision I'm considering in the next year or so. Also, I was considering going to India for a few months to study Yoga....that is just a thought at this point.
Your Armageddon talk reminds me of the 80s movie "Red Dawn." I can totally see you and Gordy drinking deer blood and pissing into your radiator...lmao. Oh yeah, and kicking some Commie ass as well.![]()
