I don't mind having this conversation public at all. I am hoping to start a weight regimen to my routine this week. What would be your recommendation to start out on? What is the best way to find out the correct weight that I should be using? I am new at this and want to start out correct. Thank you for your offer to help.

First a few questions:

1. What is/are your current goal/goals?

2. Sex, height, age, weight?

3. Have you ever lifted weights before?

4. Health issues?

The wedding pics will be delayed. I just found out my photographer is away until next week... so I can't expect anything until then. Irritates me but whatever.

I have a few pics a co-worker game me today but they aren't digital. I might have a scanner here at work.... I'll have to check.

You and me both. My body just won't adjust to the eastern clock now. It's really getting irritating!

My goal is to drop to 150 and then go from there.

Male, 5'5", 27, 205

3. Have you ever lifted weights before?
In High school, but nothing serious.

4. Health issues?
I have type 2 diabetes, but nothing physical that stands in my way. The diabetes is the whole reason that I am more focused now...
 
First, diabetes is a great reason to adopt this lifestyle. I wish you nothing but success!

150 lbs seems low but at 5'5, I guess not.

I forgot to ask, do you have access to a gym?

Plus, what are you doing currently in terms of exercise? And how does your nutrition look right now?

Yea yea yea, I know, you just want me to shut up and spill the advice, haha. I will get to it as soon as I have the facts.... promise. :)
