Thanks Steve! Next Goal? Gosh, I don't even have a current goal, except stick with this program for the next 5-6 weeks. Kidding...totally kidding.![]()
we always have to have goals. Can't hit what you don't aim at.
I just got done reading your incredibly inspirational post and you have no idea how thankful I am that you're helping so many of us. So many things that we thought were "facts", you've really opened our eyes and our knowledge to what is really happening to our bodies. Your willingness and patience with all of us is amazing. You've repeated so many posts and have seen the same issues that we all face and yet you treat all of us as individuals and help us one at a time. Thanks for everything and I'm so happy that you're walking with us.
Are you doing anything to combat your plateau?
I'm not sure what else to do. I have a new routine. I'm in a deficit mode 6 days out of 7. I'm tracking everything I eat. I'm sleeping well, properly hydrated, etc.
Sometimes I wonder if that's the difference between losing weight in your 50's and your 20's. Thirty years ago, I had plateaus, but they rarely lasted more than a few days, a week at most.
Actually, the past 3 days has shown a very slight weight loss each day - 2/10's of a pound. But I don't count that. I think I probably just have to be patient for at least 1 or 2 more weeks.
Great post last night! I completely agree. It's a continuous fight to eat healthily, stay educated, and keep your body in peak form. The world around us (and the people in it) can even be resentful if we are winning the fight. It's great to come here where milestones and small victories are celebrated. You are also an inspiration.
good morning!
thanks for stopping by my diary, and i love the "you can't hit what you don't aim at". you always have such a great way of wording things!![]()
