Journey, Not A Destination

Krista always says I'm 'special' in this really sneaky voice. When asked to clarify... it's always 'ya know, you're unique.'

Granted, I'm also the guy that when Krista is asked who her husband is when we're at a banquet, wedding or something like that... the common response to her when she points me out is, "God bless you."

I'm a kid, I tell ya.

It's amazing. I'd put a significant amount of money that I've worked harder than a lot of them and even more money that I have more knowledge on the subject than them, but they've been dealt the 'good hand.'
I hear you, i think im one of those that beef up really easy with muscle. Ive noticed it as well, mostly because my husband is like you, and struggles to do anything to not be weedy. He gave up and is just weedy now. But that runs in his family, the biggest if a builder and hes only an average size guy - considering what hes doing all day thats impressive.
Me? I can go in without training and lift stupidly large amounts for a beginner (probably with all the bad form as well and making big mistakes) and put on large muscles without even trying.
But my thing ironicly is cycling, and i need to be strong and light. Ill never be light, but you do get the odd 'big' rider who wins races. Just not often.
I'd happily swap with you so you can get bigger easier and i can be lighter though :)

As long as it's what you enjoy, that's what counts. We don't connect often so if I don't see ya, good luck with your race Liz.
Yep i agree with that, I dont do it to win, i do it to enjoy it and have fun and keep the fat away as well as companionship.
There are always the twits who are in it that you gotta ignore *G*

That's too funny! I'm sure that being with me will soon be commonly referred to as the Lord's work or something, lol...

I don't squat too much anymore (shame on me I know, I gotta get back in the habit) but I thought of you a lot too... I guess I just read too many threads/posts about squatting that you were involved with.

It's the fingers.. :)

You didn't change.... she knew what she was getting into with you and you keep her on her toes... and definitely NOT boring..

I'm a kid, I tell ya.
That's not a bad thing... you're mature where it counts... ya know that responsibility thing. you just have a playful side...

If you were a dood you'd be cock diesel

 Pardon?

Hahaha--If Krista was from the Bay Area she'd probably clarify by saying you "ride the yellow bus." But "unique" is so much prettier :) The parade sounds fun. Santa Cruz has a parade, of sorts, through downtown every Halloween. It's odd; people from all over come to that little town to witness the freaks. SC is 53,000 people. Halloween generates 30,000 people in the downtown area over the course of the night! It gets super crazy, fast. I'm thinking of taking my 3 friends to the Freakers' Ball there, in downtown--I just got a call from a buddy who owes me $50 that I forgot he owned me! :D

That's why you're one of my favorites Mal. You get it. :)

People are what they are - can't change them - so you can appreciate them and accept them or forget them.. :)

People put entirely too much effort into changing someone who's not going to change.. :)

and besides you're entirely too cute to forget...

Exactly, lol.

Wait. He owns you?

:p

The parade should be a lot of fun, I'm excited. I think we're catching a train at 7am or so.

I think that is an excellent philosophy.

HAHA nice type-o. If he owned me, I probably wouldn't be getting no fiddy dollaz! The image of dog collars and chains comes to mind all of a sudden

THAT EARLY for a parade??? Wait a minute, what is this all about, I must have missed it? Why so early, what parade is it? :bigear:

One of the craziest Halloweens I've had consisted of spending the evening on the Castro. That was a lot of fun. This was LONG before a bunch of assholes decided to fuck things up for everybody so they shut it down.

Absolutely! And I still don't get why so many women try to 'change' their men either.

I've only seen pics, but I'd have to agree. :biggrinjester:

Exactly, lol.

If you followed the fetish ball part of her journal... it would be fitting. :biggrinjester:

Hey everyone, thanks for stopping in. So the parade was absolutely insane. We were on the train at 7:30 in the am with bags full of booze and I'm just getting home. They believe 3 million people were there, which is absolutely insane.

No crazy stories... just a bunch of people celebrating, cops being cool and controlling the crowds for the most part, and fun.

Here's a link to the pictures I took, which weren't many. I think I'm in two of them... can't remember. I looked like hell, drunk and extremely tired but whatever.

It was an unforgettable experience.

Philly has a young team - they will defintely be back...

but glad you got to celebrate and have fun..

gotta take those moments while you can..

pssst you have cute friends :)

Yea, I think we'll be back too. But thinking how long it's been since the last championship... it was something we couldn't pass up.

I've never seen so many people in one damn place, I'll tell ya that much.

Congrats on the Phillies' win! I couldn't care less about baseball (unless the Tigers actually made it to the WS), but my gran who is an avid fan was happy they won (since her Tigers and Cubbies were not in contention..lol). :biggrinjester:

Thanks dude. I would much prefer a super bowl title but at this point I'll take what I can get. And the party yesterday was fun times.
