Hope your Eagles do well tonight. The Lions are whupping ass on the Broncos. I can't believe they're whupping ass on anyone. Guess this is gonna be a halfway decent season. :D For once.

Thanks Mal.... I actually stopped watching it last night. Felt sleep was more important and worthwhile than the frustration.... they are really bad this season.

Hopefully we smarten up and make some changes next season.

I'm ready to win this new challenge, I'm so excited!! Maybe this will be the challenge I need to really get me roaring!! I'm back to the Steve O, workout plan, so I'm real excited!!

the season isn't done yet -what's this defeatist attitude... :) your team needs your support... they could salvage the season... or at least get a really high draft pick :)

They suck too bad to even care. I love em still.... but they're on my shit list this season.

I see there is a lot of sucking going on in here! :D

This is Day 6 of no exercise, and my body desperately needed it! Still, my muscles feel like they are STILL recovering and my inner thighs/hips/groin are still kind of sore from the stupid leg presses that screwed them up last Monday. The creakiness and general fatigue is diminishing, but it took about 4 days for me to notice the difference. Do you think it's possible that I may need even more than 7 days off? I suppose I can only assess that Thursday morning....*musing* Oh yes, and I shall resume the PT thread, I got distracted by a bunch of Life Matters.

It's hard to say. Your muscles should be recovered locally by now. Any fatiguing-effects at this point would be neural.

Nah.

I mean if you're injured, than it's not neural.

If you simply have a tough time bringing yourself to work out, you feel your strength is down, etc.... then you are most likely in an overreached or overtrained state; this is the stuff that involves the CNS.

do you ever have BAD eating day's and if so how do you recover lol?
I feel I have done better with it I had a bad Friday and Sat then I straightend up some on Sunday then totally back on Monday but for
me 1 day or 1 treat can turn into weeks why is this and how can I
better control it? Have a gr8 day Tammy

I did, and I am getting better. I just hoped that my hips/inner thighs/groin wouldn't be so sore by now, but it is still sore when I stretch in a sides splits position. Hmmm let me see.....when I lift my right leg into a 90 degree position, my left quads and gracilis are slightly sore. Hey, at least it isn't as bad as last Tuesday where I could barely get my leg up into a side kick! I just want the soreness to be completely gone before I start exercising.....unless you think that even if I exercised lightly it would heal anyway (??)

You could start by eating more calories....as I've said to you before, haha.

But personally, no, I never feel the urge to go off on week long binges. I certainly 'cheat' often.... if thats what you want to call it. I don't think of it as cheating. I always make sure I have the essentials and beyond that, things are fair game.

I don't deprive myself ever, to a point where I feel I NEED to go nuts.

Why not do some dynamic mobility work and some light jogging?
 
Hey buddy :)! How's your week going? As for me, I'm doing pretty well. Feeling lots less hungry these days! Honestly, if you had not mentioned leptin I wouldn't have researched it and gotten such a totally different perspective on how the metabolism actually operates. I wonder why this hormonal system is not common knowledge. Why do we all think fat is just merely storage for extra calories?

Have you ever been on that ironmagazineforums site? I noticed they have the same format.
