Thanks Steve. Now if I could just figure out how to eliminate the cramping at night, I'd be a happy camper! The cramps are in the ligaments on my instep, too -- very hard to "walk it out" in that location.
Did you have an xray of the hand? Maybe it's broken.
I was reading on another respectable forum about people with cramp problems and how it's related to skewed electrolyte levels... Lyle McDonald actually gave some dosage recommendations of magnesium, sodium, and the like.... I'll have to see if I can dig it up again.
Hand isn't broke. I did have x-rays taken. They believe it's "nerve damage."
I'll give it another week and see how it feels as I start going heavy again in the gym. If it's bad, first I'll go to the chiro for some ART. After that doesn't resolve the issue, I'll have to go to a good doc I know in the city.
