Yea I'll bet it's refreshing! When I was working at the Uni, walking was a really nice way to start the day. Cheaper too.

So I broke.. uh huh. I weighed 3 times yesterday :( I jsut couldn't beleive my scale said 169 on Friday. Now it says 167.5

I can't still be retaining water from my TOM can I? its almost been a week.. (ended last Thursday). There is no way it can still be water weight.. is there?

Anyway.. I am annoyed with it.. and don't understand. Sure I cheated more than usual.. but seriously... I walk every single day. And not slow snail paced walk.. I mean a good sweaty walk.

Sigh. Ah well. yesterday I did excellent for my eating.. and today i shall continue aswell.
 
Avi, I honestly think that you have put on muscle. Look at how many crunches you have done!!! And all the other exercise as well! You should be really proud. :) I know for a FACT!! that I am the same size as I got to when I lost weight the last time, yet I weigh more ..... it is the exercise. And after all, weight is just a number ..... it is how you look and feel that is so important ;)
 
I know weight is just a number.. but I don't want it to be such a big number!!!

And I think I have been loosing inches.. and building muscle... my pants fit different and my arms are stronger. I jsut wish the weight would still go down.

I will change my ticker to whatever Fridays says I weigh, even if its up. No more weighing till then.
 
I was kinda pissed off when I went into a Curves yesterday and they weighed me...they said I was at 169:eek: ...that can't be right, actually I'm pretty sure I'm retaining water. My TOM is supposed to be this week. But that was a bit irritating.
 
No worries for breaking Avi, but like Bear said, you've done a lot of crunches, which will build stomach muscle. If your scales are up (which I doubt) then try measuring round your waist instead, that will always go down if you're crunchin'.

I'm nail biting now...I can hardly wait until friday. I'm going to put in 3 miles tomorrow *in hopes* that I will not be up anther lb like monday....waiting anxiously.....

Miss Kallie, great going you, can't wait to see how you've done tomorrow! It's sometimes more exciting seeing how other people have done than yourself! I'm sure you'll have done great :)

Feeling a bit indifferent about tomorrow. On one hand, I've only been up to the 1200 margin a couple of times, possibly over that margin one day :eek: However, the exercise front has been neglected a bit, and although I've done a lot of walking some days, I should have been swimming. Busy days though. Ah well, shall see tomorrow...

I hated Curves scales. Very inacurate. Use the one that you have at home. Whether it is digital or manual, use the same scale. I refuse to weigh myself at the gym. And don't weigh yourself everyday unless you have hit your goal weight and you want to maintain it. I am a different weight everyday also. If I eat a little too much salt one day, then the next it shows. Weigh yourself in the morning, and in the buff.

Hi everyone, I did the 3 times on the scale thing and I am 149 LBS thats 4 lbs loss this week, :D which makes up for not loosing last week.

I had touched 152 lbs on the 12 and 13 of July and that was why I was so disappointed on the 14 th when I when up to 153 lbs. I had been adding so much salt to my vegetables it wasn't funny. I even added salty spices to my tuna that is soaked in salt water :eek: . Eating salt is like breathing to me, always has been....but when you are eating 1000 cals and not loosing for a week, that was the only thing I could think of to eliminate. Anyway next week I might be in tears again but for now I am one happy Blitzed. :D
