Fantastic work, everyone! That's a massive group loss there, we should start doing a collective survey :D

Jodee, well done on the 2 lb loss! Great stuff, and you'll definitely make your goal weight by Christmas.

Pinster, well done on your damn near 2 lb loss! And like Mal said, although it may not be a huge loss since monday, it's still a loss, and no matter how great or small the losses, we're all still losing.

Kallie, well done on the 150 lb loss :D Seriously, you made a good choice there, very sensible. Surely with the work you've put in, you won't be gaining.

BillyLee, 7 lbs, that half a stone!! Well done you! *joins in Hill Billy Jig, playing fiddle*

Dudes, I'm gutted. I'm not going to be here next week :( (and you know I hate doing sad faces) But I'll be weighing when I come back, so I'll let you know my belated weight (heh, that rhymes!)

Have a marvellous friday evernooning!

I could use any of those faces... but I don't feel :D or  or :p or  or :) or  or  or... hm, can't think of any more, but the only way I feel about missing the next weigh in is sad. There, I'll say it instead :D

Be sure to know I'll miss it though.

You did forget one, and its quite apt as you will be sunning yourself abroad, you forgot  . We'll miss you too, it won't be the same FSD without you, lady. ((HUGS))

YEA WOO RAAR!! Go Avi! That's fantastic, I'm so happy for you! Don't forget to give your scales a hug :D

Mrs B, of course!! That should apply more, since I have to wear them  haven't worn sunglasses since I was 7 :D *hugs*

lol. Thats so weird.. 2 weeks ago i was 165.5.. last week (right after my tom) I was 169... on Tuesday I was 167.4 and now 164. I guess my water retention after my TOM lasts about a week :)

I soooo happy!!!! :D

nd congrats to everyone else.. doing awesomes!!! :)

Yea, you'll just have to remember that next time TOM shows up uninvited. And now, you've dropped 5 lbs and feelin' guuuuuuud (which is the main thing :))

Great going, you!

lol. Thanks. *huggles Bronski*

Ah... feels so good to be under 165 <3 dream come true!!!

*hugs* Avi! I know, it's great to be under a new weight! I know I haven't been in the 80s for a long time, not for about a year and a half. It's weird, when I first found out I was in the high 80s, it depressed me. Now I feel brilliant! Hope it sticks...

What great results, looks like we are all happy little vegemites this week.

Mrs Bear....great loss for you too, and no I didn't pig out last night even weighed myself today (Saturday) just to make sure I wasn't dreaming and was still 149 lbs.:D

Bronski...2 kgs WOW...be good and hurry home it won't be the same without you.:(

Avi2kat....I'm so happy for you, it's a great feeling.:D

Oh Avi!!!! What a great result :D I am so pleased that it has worked out okay .... what it must be to be a guy and be able to lose weight without having these monthly hiccups  . So is that a week after you started or a week after you finished that the water weight went? It would be interesting to know ;)

Okay, I realised today that I am not as excited as I should be about being 12st 3lbs. That is actually a stone (14lbs for the yanks;) ) lighter than I was two months ago (couple of weeks before I joined here). And I know I have put on muscle, because clothes that normally only fit me when I am a couple of pounds under 12st fit me nicely now. The problem is that at the beginning of the year I was 11st 10lbs. Its like until I get below that weight, I don't actually feel as though I am making 'progress'. It is so silly, because I am losing weight nice and steadily, and 11st 10lbs is the lightest I have been since before puberty, so I should be chuffed to even be approaching that. I think I am just going to have to grit my teeth and wait a few more weeks, knowing that I will feel fan-bloody-tastic when I see 11st 9lbs on those scales. Isn't the mind a strange thing

I know how you feel, Mrs B. Although, like I said, I haven't been back in the 80s for about a year and a half, and although part of me is happy, I'm still thinking, deep down, that it's not enough. I was happiest with myself when I was in the low 70s, when I was about 14/15. Even then I wanted less. We've all just got to be proud of what we've done; after all, we've all tried incredibly hard, and hell I know that bar one diet attempt to get into the 60s, I haven't made a diet work or last this long for a very long time. We've all got the drive, and we've all got the power!

*insert Eye of the Tiger here*

*no wait, put it here instead... just there...*

This is me, flying by, for the last time for a week. I'll be back next Saturday evening, but I think Top Cat will be at the top of my list. Not that you guys aren't important to me ;)

Have a wonderful, wonderful week, and good luck with next friday's weigh in. I'll post my post-holiday weight on Sunday... I imagine I'll be back to where I started

Stay cool!

Okay, confession time. I weighed yesterday .... and today. I have just been feeling so bloated with my IBS lately, and I just wasn't sure if it was affecting my weight or if I was just kidding myself. Anyway, I had some relief finally this morning (yay!!) and decided to weigh again. After having a certain amount of salt yesterday (full details in diary and BA thread ;) ) I weighed 12st 2lbs this am .... thats another lb down from Friday. I am thinking of having a week when I can weigh when I feel like it this week (especially as it is the last week of the 10lb challenge) but I will not post any further loses until Friday. Is this okay guys. I hate to bend the rules, and I do think that after this week I would like to go back to weighing weekly, and I hope that you will still have me here ....

*doesn't like bent rules* :(

It was a week after the last day of my period that I finally got rid of all the water weight.

Thanks Avi, it is good to know as I will be getting my TOTM in the next week or two (maybe ;) ) and it is good to know what to expect.

Hey, 400 crunches left on the old ticker .... nearly there !!! You'll have to buy another expensive item (maybe something gold :D ) so that you can start another ticker ;)

I am debating a few things for my next ticker...

a) 6669 crunches, my old and well known ID number on one of my fav old games.
b) 666 arm curls. My fav number is six :D
c) Do a 10 pound goal thingy... like 164 - 154.. etc.
d) do a Belly button ring goal ticker.. - 150 lbs.

It is a shame that our signatures can only be a certain length or you could do all of them ;) As you can see from my sig, I had to get rid of my weight ticker and write my SW, CW and GW, because I ran out of room
