Thanks NC, i'll have to check out some resistance bands. Yesterday after stretching it wasn't as bad.
Funmom- I know I shouldn't beat myself over a few days off but man, I feel like such poop when I go a few days without exercising! Last night was the first time since Thursday that I got a good workout again and today I don't feel frumpy or blah... weird....
Last night I went to the track and after stretching for about 10mins. [to ensure my "shin splints" wouldn't be painful] had a pretty decent workout. I ran 2 laps, ran 1 set on the bleachers, half a lap of squats, another half backwards walking [while punching an invisible punching bag] half squats and half walking backwards. Ran one more set on the stairs than half a lap walking knee lifts, half walking backwards, half knee lifts and half walking backwards than to end it I ran one more set on the stairs.
For dinner last night we grilled some steak. My steak was about 5oz and I had grilled corn on the cob [Oh it was soo good!] and a simple salad of just romaine lettuce and spinach leafs [I thought I had tomatos in the fridge and also some cucumbers but when I came home we didn't have any after all and I didn't feel like going back out so my salad was pretty lame lol] I topped it with a tbsp of Reduced Fat Honey Mustard [O'Charleys brand].

1 serving of Kashi Honey Almond Flax and 1 cup of fat free milk
Multi vitamin and fish oil supplement
Snack
1 cup of mixed fresh fruit [Watermelon and Pineapple]
Lunch
1 slice of deli turkey breast on German dark wheat with 1tsp of Basil Pesto sauce, 1 slice of Reduced fat Colby jack cheddar cheese and 2 pieces of fresh romaine lettuce.
1 Kashi TLC bar
Snack
1 cup of fruit [watermelon and pineapple]
Workout today is at the Track
Dinner
We are riding the bikes [motorcycles] out to Buffalo Wild Wings. I am more than likely going to get a salad... Usually only thing I ever eat whenever we eat out.
