Hey guys, back again :) So, today was the official restart of my diet. And I hafta say that my food has stayed fairly good(could use a change in certain areas) but overall, I'm not complaining :D Also, went to the gym!! Ohh I felt sooo great after I got done, and trust me, it was a lot shorter than the workouts I was doing before I "went on vacation"...my cardio workouts were ya know, like 45-60 minutes, and I could only do 15 on a hard level. Thats ok tho, I'm gonna work it back up like I did last time, and all will be fantastic :D
Heres my workout:
*crunches: 100
*Captains chair: 10 (erg, stilllllll can't do over 10 of these!!)
*back extensions: 2 sets of 10 on 110lbs
*Rotary lat: 1set of 10 at 40lbs, 2sets of 10 at 60lbs
*Seated row: 1set of 10 at 30lbs, 1set of 10 at 45lbs
*Rotary upper back: 2sets of 10 at 40lbs
*Arm extensions: 4sets of 10 at 30lbs
*Bicep curls: 3sets of 10 at 30lbs
*CARDIO: Eliptical~ 1.13 miles, 15 minutes, 200calories

Obviously this workout wasn't as fantastic as it coulda been, but its only gonna get better :)

Oh, umm, even tho tonight was the "official restart", I might(ok, probably will lol) miss Tuesday cuz its my birthday, and umm, I'll probably hang out or do something that isn't diet friendly, lol... I'm gonna be 24, holy hunnies, gettin old...

Hey your work out looks pretty fantastic to me Jess, keep up the good work! I wish I had the motivation to learn what all these crunches and things are that you talk about. I'll be heading to the gym tomorrow and if I manage half of what you've done I'll be pretty happy!;)

Hey everyone!! OOOOOOOOhhhhhh my god, birthday- lets just say, I will NEVER drink again, lol....(ok, I'm going to a friends party tomorrow night, but I'm only having a drink or two cuz I absolutley want to go to the gym :D )
So I ended up making out with this guy who was kinda cute, was glad to get a little birthday action, lol, and I looked FRICKIN hot, straightened my hair, got hit on a ton, which, holy friggin honies, that makes me SOOO happy. I realize that I say that everytime I get hit on, but I keep thinking that after another forty or fifty pounds I'm just gonna be irrisistable lol :D is that conceited?? hmmm...

Ok, on to my day today:
Had an eggroll lean cuisine, which is SOOO yummy :)
then went to applebees and had orange chicken and half a piece of chocolate cake, good start, right?
was full from that, cleaned a little bit, and after my workout I had a serving of protein plus Special K with skim milk, which actually, I've never tried skim milk, and its def. not as good as2%, but it wasn't aweful.

WOrkout:
20minutes, 1.31miles, 284cals on the elliptical
30 weighted crunches on 70lbs
120 regular crunches
seated row- 3sets of 15 at 45lbs
arm extensions- 3sets of 15 at 40lbs
chest press- 3sets of 15 at 45lbs
shoulder press- 3sets of 10 at 20lbs
those rope extension thingys- 2sets of 10 at 20lbs

I STILL can't get over how easily 20 lbs kills my shoulders on shoulder presses!! I had to start back down at 20, even though by the time I quit working out I was at 40... gotta def. work on getting those up there. Same with cardio, that 20minutes kicked my butt, and I did keep the level up high, so I spose that could explain it, but I wanna get back up to my hour of cardio.

OOOOOhhhh you guys... kick my butt!! make me get my food back in gear... I'm not doing completely aweful- still don't eat fast food or pop, its just that when i go out to restaraunts with friends, I seem to get the worst possible foods... what should i do?? any good suggestions?

ok, so I was gonna post a pic for everyone to see my beautiful collar bones that I can finally see, but its not working, says my pics are to big, and i can't figure out how to shrink em, so yeah... that sucks :(

i used to drink 1% but have switched to skim. honestly, you get used to it after awhile and hardly notice it anymore.

as for restaurants... Well, I simply ask if we can go to healthier restaurants and from there I choose the more balanced meals. if I go for something unhealthy, I try to balance it out with a healthier side dish. like burgers... but instead of fries I get a salad with no dressing.

*SIgh* its been a while, I know... bad person I am!! So- I've actually had computer problems and boy problems, and both are over now, and I'm MUCH better lol.. and you'll all be super happy to know- I made it to the gym 2 nights in a ROW! Crazy, right?
8/13 Sunday:

chest presses: 3sets of 15 @60lbs... I think this was to heavy, may hafta do two sets on a lower weight next time...
Elliptical: 1.64 miles, 368cals, 25minutes

8/14 Monday
120crunches
Seated leg press: 3sets of 15 @215lbs
seated leg curls: 3sets of 15 @60lbs
hip adductors: warmup 1set of 15 @ 60lbs, 3sets of 15@ 70lbs
hip abductors: w/u 1set of 15 @60 lbs, 3sets of 15 @70lbs
Bike: 196cals, 25minutes, 9miles

Went to MontanaFair tonight, had a hamburger and a few fries, NOT healthy, I realize... and after my workout, GULP, I had a slice of pizza. how aweful!! Its not cool man! It needs to be stopped, lol!!

So- since the last time I've been on, I have cried, laughed, and gotten over crap. The crying depressed stage I went thru actually wrecked my appetite- I mean, like, a bowl of soup and a salad all day for three days... couldn't help it. Now I'm good, can't believe that I let something stupid get to me, cuz I NEVER let crap like that get to me, just a stupid guy,and he wasn't even very cute to be honest, so wtf?? lol, anyways, I'm ME again, and thtas fantastic, cuz I like me, and my attitude, if not my chunky tummy. Which I'm working on. Major goal by Christmas? I think it can be done, I just need to not let stupid things throw me off course again or anymore. I'm going to the Staind, 3Days Grace, Soiled, and ColdPlay concert on Saturday(actually managed to get the night off from 24 Hour Fitness woohoo!!!) and the guy that I met from my hometown is coming up for it... that should be fun, just to hang out and not hafta worry bout being at stupid work alllll the time.

OOOOhhhh my goodness. I have totally rambled, and haven't really said anything constructive, so yeah, I'm gonna go now, lol...
 
yikes, computer problems!!!! Glad they are all fixed now. And sorry you've been through a little guy ordeal. They're never worth all the turmoil once you look back, are they? But glad you are back on track and the concert sounds awesome!! Have a great time!!!
 
Didn't go to the gym last night, OR tonight... I wanna say its cuz I've been working 75-80hours a week, but seriously, no friggin excuses,lol... I need to just go and get it done, so I can be hot and skinny, and grrr... just grr. know what I mean?! lol...anyways, I'm sooo tired, can hardly keep my eyes open, so I'm going to go to bed, gotta get up early and get some stuff done before I work all day, so yeah... if anyone has any good advice to get me back in the gym every night, ti would be sooooo appreciated :D
 
My advise - Stop working 75-80 hrs per week. It is not healthy for you anyway because it wears you out. And its doubly unhealthy because you can't get to the gym. So unless your boss is willing to pay all your medical bills, tell him/her no. I do understand that this is maybe not something you can change immediately.

Other compromizes have to include taking a longer lunch and going for workout during lunch or in the morining before work. If you're working 16 hrs a day, they can wait for you to come in later so you can hit the gym first.

Good luck! Hope your schedule will be a bit less crazy soon.

You might blame yourself for not going... but I certainly don't! :eek:
where do you even find the time to sleep, eat and pee?
