Jess - The road to happiness and health :)

Ha ha thanks Day! Anytime!!! I knew you'd be impresed with the sleep in!

Tigs and aussiegal - funnily enough I didn't even think of eating - could this mean I've turned a corner? Hmmmm... :)

Thanks Island and Sunflower, I totally wanted to just drive home but I just didn't have the choice, I would have let my mate down.

CG I know I nearly lost it, but managed to take some deep breaths and not embarrass myself any further lol.

I'm so sorry for whinging, I feel really bad for putting it in here. You all rock though, thanks for all just being there. :grouphug:

Today was so much better!
I did 6 hours of cleaning so that was my exercise today, and tonight we put our Christmas tree up. The kids loved it, and it was such a nice way to end the day :)

Food:
Brekky - Medium banana and 8 natural walnuts.
Snack - Pink Lady apple
Lunch - Stirfry - brown rice, beef and veg with a sesame soy and ginger marinade.
Dinner - Tomato and baby spinach soup with a slice of wholegrain bread with low fat cottage cheese on it.

BIG day tomorrow for cleaning :( but on the upside, when we picked the kids up from school 3 (not 1, but 3!) of the mums commented on how much weight I'd lost. STOKED!!!

:)
Thanks so much you guys! Cabbie is right lol I love this forum, it is a huge part of me staying on track, no doubt about it.

Cleaning was hard today but great, I sweated like no tomorrow so yay for the burning of calories :hurray:
Best of all, hubby offered to help me out on the first 2 houses. Any man who will scrub a stranger's thunderbox to lighten your load (no pun intended :) ) is a keeper. Love my hubby...

Food today was an absolute shocker! No bad food, just the lack of...
Brekky - A pear.
Missed lunch - honestly just had no time and felt dreadful because I needed to eat :(
Dinner - Chicken, mushroom, onion, capsicum and broccoli stirfry with brown rice and sweet chilli/ginger/soy marinade.

I'll try and have something more later, but I'm knackered and still have so much to do tonight!

I'm hoping to do some weight reps too.

Hey Jess, your hubby is definately a keeper, what a nice way to help you out :)

Have something to eat! You need to have enough energy to do all that calorie burning and muscle building...

Hey Jess, sounds like you've been a trooper over the last few days - just catching up on your thread here. What an awful day - really sorry you had to go through it, but on the lighter side, has enough time passed now for you to read it and see just how much like a disaster comedy it sounds. How on earth did you spray windex in your ear whilst fishing your glasses out of the toilet? Are you Mr Bean?

3 mum comments on weight lost - thats certainly a motivational boost!! I would stash that one in your "mental shoebox" to fish out when you are feeling low and want to scoff lots of food.

OMG I just caught up on your crap day and I'm glad that your lovely husband made the next day much easier.
Nothing like a few compliments to make you feel better. I just had my car mechanic come and pick my car up for it's yearly service and he stood and looked at me with his mouth open when he saw me and I wondered what he was staring at until I realized that he hadn't seen me since last year and was shocked at the difference. :)

Are you going to have any time to get out shopping before Friday night? You sound very busy! It's coming up quick - I'm getting so excited for you!
Can you tell I have no life lately with my hubby gone! Yours sounds like a keeper!

Jessypants! *throws hugs* So sorry to hear you had a rubbish day on Tues. But we all have em girl... and if you need to cry or rant to get it all out your system, so be it. Sometimes it's the only way. No one will think any less of you girl. You're amazing!

So pleased the ther Mums nticed all your efforts too! What a great turnout! :D You're doing so well :) xxxx

Hey Anna, I ended up having a salad and cheese wholegrain wrap last night, so all was good :)

Lol @ jjJay :) I have no idea, the glesses sort of flung up in the air and I had the windex in my hand... ha ha. I can be so clumsy it's rediculous!
Yeah now I've re read it, it does seem pretty funny :biggrinjester:

Ecky, that would have been SO COOL!!! I love the idea of j's 'mental shoebox' for that one too!

CG - It's Friday morning here and don't worry, after work today I'm hitting the shops for a top for tonight :) I've got some jeans ready (a pair that's new from the back of the closet woo hoo) and am going to wear my favourite Dr Martens (am addicted to DM's and have at least 10 pairs).

Thanks so much Cheesy, you always cheer me up no matter the situation! LAST DAY of cleaning to people!!! OH YEAH! NO MORE DUST OR HAIR!!! I'll have my life back - well for a while :) Have a great day everyone!

LOL I'm glad that you have seen the funny side as now I can admit to chuckling a bit to the mental picture I had in my head of all this. It was like a comedy farce that you see on the telly. :)

Glad to hear your very bad day is long gone and things are looking up for you! Make sure you take time for yourself and EAT! I'm parinoid about not eating enough calories now because I did that for a while and lost about half my hair. Don't do what I did!!!

Ohhh I'm so excited for you!! Have a great time tonight! I'm so jealous because my work does not have a get-together at Christmas.
I'm sure you are going to look soo sexy and knock the boots off those people that haven't seen you for some time! Enjoy the meal too! Just get a little exercise in with hubby when you get home from the party :sifone: !!
Have a good one Jess!! Check back Monday!

Ha ha! Maybe I'm a Basil Fawlty reincarnated!!! :smilielol5:

Tigs, I DEFINITELY don't want go go bald!!! Now that I'm finished the work and my mate is home from her hols I can really focus on the job at hand.
I'm so excited to do this, I have so many plans for different exercise, nutrition and I'll have more time to plan and cook the meals I want. *thumbs up* and YAY!!!

I'm going to relax today though :)
How weird is this? I seem to be forming this bizarre pattern - really small loss, then really big loss!
Today I weighed in and 2KG'S down again!!! Far out! Am I doing the whole fluid retention thing? It's so hard to tell, I don't really get the TOM thing because I have an IUD so it's just strange. I'm not having much salt really either so I don't know what the deal is. Pretty stoked though!

Hey CG, the party was really fun and I actually felt like I looked nice (I wouldn't say sexy though...). I saw a couple of women staring at me (ladies I don't really like, they're really bitchy)and one lady I hadn't seen in a while had no idea who I was! The dinner was fine after all that worrying too, there was chicken and salad available so I just had a nice normal meal. The kids had a great time (there were free chockies and party crackers/bon bons on the table :) ) and so did Hubby.

Believe it or not a pair of jeans I didn't fit into 3 weeks ago now are too big!

Yesterday's food:
Brekky - Banana and 1/2 cup of low fat cottage cheese
Snack - Raw walnuts
Lunch - Chicken, onion, capsicum, broccoli and carrot stir fry with brown rice and Sweet chilli and ginger marinade.
Snack - 1 cob of corn
Dinner - Wholegrain salad sandwich with low fat hommus.
Snack - Mango :)

I only did 10 minutes of small hand weights and 50 crunches today, just wanted to give the body a rest.

Holy crap! 3 weeks and you fittin the jeans! :D:D nice!
I recall when i initially lost tons, i tried not to buy clothes, even though it was extremely tempting.
Eventually it was my birthday and i got a size 18 pair jeans, really nice ones! they cost a heap, and i was so happy i was no longer a size 26. A month later i was gutted they didnt fit me and fell to my knees!
On the plus side, i've never worn them again, even after regaining weight i never quiet got that big again!

Hey Jess , your food looks so yummy and healthy. I wish we could get good mangos here, they are my favourite, we just get rubbish unripe ones and they cost HEAPS.

50 crunches is not a rest! You're a machine :)

Thanks Anna - yeah bad mangoes suck! We're so lucky here to have such great fruit, and a great variety as well. I've been getting huge mangoes for just $2! Cheap as.

Thanks Wishes, oh that would have sucked but still at least there was a positive there too :) Yep I'm definitely holding out a bit longer before I invest in some new jeans.

I put a bit of a before and 'so far' pic on my profile if anyone wants to have a squizzy. Pretty embarrassing though!

Food today:
Brekky - Large banana, 8 raw walnuts
Snack - 6 carrot sticks (2 small carrots)
Lunch - Brown rice, carrot, spring onion, mushroom, capsicum, beef, and black bean sauce stir fry.
Dinner - Pumpkin and sweet chilli soup (home made and healthy, no cream etc)
Snack - I can of tuna in springwater - drained.

Exercise was a short walk, 600 reps with hand weights including 150 crunches.

Some of my 16 jeans feel a bit saggy! Woot! :Angel_anim:

The photo below is me today - 77 kg's. I've now lost 11 kg's. The fatter photo was too big to put as a thumbnail (no pun intended!) But I put it on my profile if you want to see it.
