I didn't sleep worth a crap last night. It stormed all night. The lightning and thunder woke me up I don't even know how many times. The power went out four times. So I ended up setting the alarm on my phone. Then I was paranoid I wouldn't hear it and oversleep. But instead I woke up an hour before my alarm went off and couldn't go back to sleep. I need a nap.

I just got back from doing my mom's grocery shopping. Gotta pick up the kids in a little bit and then get some work done.

I'm good on calories as of right now.

Good morning, my lovely forum friends. :) I had a fun and busy weekend. I kept busy and got some walking in. My legs are definitely feeling it this morning.

Today I'm working, doing laundry, and I have to take my daughter to the dentist. I suspect she might have to have a baby tooth pulled. It's refusing to come out and the new tooth is bound and determined that it is coming in.. lol.
 
Update... She has 3 baby teeth that might need to be helped out with the assistance of the dentist. They are kind of stuck on the gum , so the dentist gave her some numbing stuff and told her to wiggle them a LOT. If they aren't out in 2 weeks to a month then she has to go back to have them pulled out. I think the dentist put some fear in her, so hopefully she'll get them out herself. lol!

I haven't really done anything that I was going to do today... except for laundry. Several things came up and work had to get put on the back burner. Hopefully I can get some done tonight. I also have to help the kids with homework tonight. I think I hate homework more as a parent then I did as a kid. haha!

Calories are on track for today so far. I'm shooting for around 1400 today.
 
Glad you're on track Jen. It's nice having you back! Homework sucks, no matter what age. I don't think I ever put much importance on it when it was mine, but when the boys had homework I worried more about it. It seemed more important than mine ever did. Hope your daughter manages to get those baby teeth out on her own :D

Calories for last night were around 1360. I'm shooting for around the same today.

Today's been kinda busy. Got the kids off to school, did a bunch of errands for my mom, and went and got my blood drawn again. Hopefully my level is good. When I had it checked on Friday it was at 2.0. It's supposed to be between 2 and 3, so hopefully it hasn't gone down any.*fingers crossed*

Time to start dinner! :)
 
1360 calories is a nice low number. I think I had that many in about an hour at my parents house on Sunday.

I could eat that many calories right now. I have the munchies really bad. I want ice cream... and chocolate... and mountain dew.. ahhhhh.. I need to go to bed. lol!

Calories for the day are 1330.

I'm aiming for around 1400 calories today.

My INR was 2.2 yesterday. Yay! No blood draws for two whole weeks! Super happy about that!

No errands to run, just have to do a little laundry and work. The kids go to their Dad's tonight, so it'll be a nice quiet night. :)

...and after some 10 year old girl dramatics... one baby tooth is out!! Two more to go! lol!
 
I should be working or going to bed, but here I sit listening to music. It's my way of relaxing. Too many thoughts rolling around in my head tonight. If only my brain had an off switch. It would make things a lot easier. BUT... the good news here is that I'm NOT using food to stuff my emotions down. So +1 for me on that one!

Have to drink more water tomorrow!

So far so good today. Calories are on track. Kids are with their dad this weekend, so I'll be working a lot. I'm going to try to stay on track this weekend as best I can. I am planning on having a couple pieces of pizza tomorrow, but I'll work that into my calories so I don't go too over.

Have not done the best on water today. Must do better tomorrow!
 
Well, I did pretty good on Saturday. Drank a ton of water, kept my calories low..... but, Sunday was not so good. :blush5: My downfall: soft pretzels. Damn them for being so good!

Back on track this morning though. Shooting for around 1350 calories.

For now I'm off to try to get some work done. Hope everyone has a good day! :)

Mmm, I love soft pretzels. Something about them during a movie really hits me. As long as you're still not hitting above your calories, it'll never be a downfall =D
 
Well, Sunday I was deeeeefinitely above my calories. haha! But, yeah, they're getting worked into my calorie intake until the rest of them are gone. I will not waste a soft pretzel. Nope..not happening. :p :D
 
Calories for yesterday were a little lower than normal at 1260. I wasn't that hungry at dinner, so it was kind of small.

Things to do today:
Stay around 1350 for calories
Drink a lot of water
Go to the bank to get school picture money for my daughter
Grocery shopping for my mom and myself
Work
Dishes
Laundry
Help the kids with their homework
Relax and watch a little TV :)

You'll tie yourself in knots trying to fit pretzels into the calorie count. I'm a comedy genius.
 
Just thought I'd check in real quick. Been super busy, but staying on track. Calories have been between 1300 and 1600 pretty much. :)

The weekend wasn't too bad. I had a couple of things I probably shouldn't have, but it definitely could have been much worse. Tomorrow night is a planned cheat night, and has been for weeks now. The Blacklist season premiere is going to be on. I can't wait! I love that show.

We have company coming for a few days at the end of October. No more cheat nights after tomorrow. Must. Lose. Weight. haha!
