.....dang it, I've been thinking about homemade chicken nuggets for like two days now... can't imagine why -.-

Oh yeah, when my weight doesn't meet up to my expectations (like this week, for example) the goals really give me something else to focus on. In fact I should be updating my goals soon!

God Homemade Chicken Nuggets are sooo good. But I'm off that train so...eep.

I'm glad to meet another Spaghetti Squash fan! What do you put on yours? I'm looking for a white sauce recipe, mostly because I don't like the sour taste of tomatoes. Heh.

I wish you all good luck with your weight loss!

(Day 38) Thursday, November 3, 2011

I haven't lost a pound yet, and it's already Thursday :/. I think I need to start picking it up!

So far my diet has been going well (and I'm talking about today). As of this message I only consumed 500 calories, and it's already 4PM so most of the day is already over. I'm trying to get my sleep routine back in order because I've been sleeping at 2AM for most of this week, mostly because of shows and games I wanted to play. It's a terrible past habit that I thought I got rid of, but apparently not! So my goal for this week is to get my sleep back in order.

Exercise wise, I'm doing well, but I'm not burning as much calories as I was before! Only 700 calories or so per session, and this includes warm up and cool downs. It still feels great afterwards though. I'm bursting with energy!

Except..well...I exercise at 8PM now because I wake up too late. And because I exercise at 8PM I stay up too late!

How am I ever going to break this cycle?

Hey Jay, I know it's super frustrating, but it looks like you're doing everything right! Just give it some time to run its course and it's bound to pay off :)

Usually I just do my spaghetti squash with butter spray and salt and pepper and I think it's delicious. I don't know how good a white sauce would taste -- you'll have to let me know how that works out ... I've seen a lot of diet sauces as the grocery story, maybe you'll luck out on a white one. I think a pesto could be really good, too. The other day I got creative and sauteed some garlic in a little bit of olive oil, added some olives and artichoke hearts and then tossed that into my spaghetti squash with a little fat free feta and some basil ... I died a little, so good!

Keep up the hard work, if you feel like you wanna cheat because you're getting frustrated, just come here and vent! ;)

Hang tough, Jay!

A lot of us are in the same boat as you right now. We just have to stay focused and push through this bad time together

Thanks for the kind words. And that sounds so good, haha. I should try some pesto and some feta :) Well...after I buy some more spaghetti squash of course.

Thanks! I think it's the weather honestly. Something about it being cold and sneezy makes me want to stay under the covers for the whole day. And drink hot cocoa and steaming pancakes. :/

Sorry if I don't respond quickly guys! The house is a bit hectic at the moment. We're trying to prepare our house for a Thanksgiving party soon, and that means cleaning, cleaning, and cleaning some more. I just spent the whole day yesterday cleaning my kitchen. It was worth it though - I found some dollars and some of my favorites cups hidden behind the cabinets :hurray:

lol, nice

Yeah, this weather definitely does suck. I hate cold now that I've lost weight - I don't have as much insulation to shield me anymore! hehe

Just be careful with the Thanksgiving party ;) I think a few of us might give into a lot temptation, but hey, it's the holidays! It's understandable

Speaking of cleaning, I think I need to touch up my bathroom a bit. Between my big italian roommate and my german heritage, it looks like a pair of werewolves shed in there (we're pretty hairty)! :ack2: lol

(Day 41) Sunday, November 6, 2011

It's weight day...it's a bit upsetting though.

Last Week: 208-212

This Week: 207-210

I know losing one pound a week isn't bad at all, but there's only a couple of weeks till thanksgiving and I REALLY, REALLY want to get out of the 200s. It's my goal right now, and I can't have another bad week like this! So from now on I'm going to strap myself down and...stand up again and exercise! And eat right.

Get to 200! I CAN DO IT :)

Oh, and I also been practicing driving and I managed to get through the main roads without hitting someone. I'm so happy with myself lol. Drove all the way to Safeway, yes I did!

Also...it's November. So that means new full body picture.

So as of November 6:

Height: 5'6" (yes, I'm hoping I can grow some more >_>)

Weight: 207 lbs.

Age: 18

Forgive me for that awful glare on the right side, the bad picture quality, and my half-ass smile. xD. It's the best I could do.

That's quite an image xD.

I HATE cleaning the bathroom. It's seriously the last place I would ever clean in my house.

First off, I'm impressed with what you've done so far. Just seeing your name is an inspiration for me, in part because my name happens to be Jay as well. Also, I do believe I'm going to steal your achievements list and tailor them to my own goals. I often have trouble with setting "mini goals" so that will be able to help as well. I wish you continued luck. :)

(Day 42) Monday, November 7, 2011

So I decided that I'm going to try to shoot for a 1000 calorie burn today, via exercise. I haven't been able to get over 800 in a while (mostly in the 500!) and I think that's why I'm not dropping too much weight. I'm also going to eat more vegetables - I finally went to the store and bought myself some romaine lettuce and all that good stuff :)

Also, I drove to my mom's work. Yeahhhh and I had to go down a huge hill that made me zoom up to 80mph and giving my dad a heart attack xD. But I managed and it was fun. I'm becoming less nervous on the road now than I was before. My only problem right now is trying to parallel park, and backing out of my drive way. Heh :/

Aw man. While I was exercising I pulled a back muscle right under my left shoulder blade. It hurts like hell and I can't exercise..

I think there are three Jays on this forum now. Must. Not. Confuse!
