Jaclyn's NEW Diary

I love your letter too, and your ticker(HEY, CHANGE IT!:D) proves to all that it is the truth. Consistency, lifelong changes, writing it down, water, exercise, and wa-lah! I think ya oughta post your letter somewhere where it isnt lost in your diary...tho dont know just where right now..

You are an incredible inspiration to everyone! Be proud that you are an awesome role model!

You are the best! Congrats on getting down in the 160's! What an inspiration...
I totally agree that Edy's light ice cream rocks. My only complaint is that most of my grocery stores only carry the basic of flavors. While I enjoy, chocolate and strawberry I would love to try some chocolate chunk or something different.

Good Doobie, you changed yer ticker!! :) Have a great weekend Jaclyn!! ;) (btw, have I mentioned I just think that is the prettiest name?! ) :)Sounds so eloquent!

Thanks guys! You're all so great!

Thanks New Leaf, I'll tell my mom you like my name. She'll be thrilled.

Unfortunately, after my great 169 victory, yesterday was not a very good day eating wise. It wasn't terrible, but it involved a little too much pizza. But today is a new day, albeit, one I'm starting with leftover pizza.

Heck, that pizza probably just kicked your metabolism into super gear!

(Just as a side: I've always loved the name Jaclyn. When I was in eigth grade my best friend and I decided that we would both name our first born girls Jacqueline Nicole. [Having grown up with only four letters in my first name- JUDY- I so wanted a long, beautiful name for my daughter. Of course, now that I've taught kindergarten and watched little people struggle with spelling and printing long beautiful names, I think 5 or 6 letters is perfect!])

That's true Totallyscrappy, I hope it did kick my metabolism up!

Thanks for the name compliment! Two in one day! I like my name, I think it suits me. I hate it when people call me Jackie, because I'm so not a Jackie. You know, Totallyscrappy, I just realized the other day that I had no idea what your real name was, and now I know! You did a good job of keeping it secret. So what did you end up naming your daughters?

I'll let you know when we actually have a girl! LOL!
Actually, we've always had the same girl's name picked out... just never had to use it! Ellen (my middle name). The middle name has changed a few times. I like Ellen Rebecca. (I'm fond of Biblical names.) I also would go with Ellen Barbara after my mom. Maybe Ellen Rebecca Barbara, but who gets two middle names anymore? Most people hardly use the one middle name they have!
Hey, maybe we could have twin girls Ellen Rebecca and Rebecca Barbara. Hahaha. Outta my mind...
Good luck on that test....

Hey! my son has two middle names!

also, i like really old names. my kids have names(either first or middle) like Anna, William, Jon, Grace, and to me, they are just beautiful! I got to liking them when doing genealogy, and realizing how often these names were used thru history.

Hey! Just dropping by to check in on you.

That was a great letter. You are doing such a great job! Kissing those 170's goodbye! :D

Thanks guys!

Totallyscrappy, I don't even know why I asked you what you named your daughters, because I know you have sons! What are their names? You know what's funny? I'm not religious, but I like a lot of male Biblical names. My cat's name is Gideon, and I didn't name him but when I got him I liked his name so much I kept it against my roommate's will. Hahaha. I like the really old sounding ones, like Micah, Judah, Jonas. I'm a weirdo.

I took my test this morning and I honestly don't know how I did. I felt like I knew a lot of the answers, but I'm afraid to be too confident.

Now I have to work from 2-10. Blah! I had a good lunch though!

Thanks!

I cleaned out my closet today and it looks SO good. I bought nice wood hangers for all of my favorite shirts, and these pretty black lingerie hangers for my dresses and tank tops, and I got one of those hanging shelf shoe organizers. I cleaned out all of the clothes I'll NEVER wear again (fat clothes, too big bras, old tshirts) to bring to Goodwill, and I bought a couple of new tops to wear and a nice pair of black capris. It was a nice thing to do for myself. I also got new bedsheets, but they don't fit my bed! I already washed them though. I hope they'll let me bring them back!

Breakfast:
2 Kashi Blueberry Waffles (200)
Mixed Berries (100)

Lunch:
Veggie Salami sandwich on wheat with Havarti (350)
Pickle (10)
Chips (150)

Dinner:
No Fry Falafel! (400)

Dessert:
Raspberry and Memey Sherbert (150)

Congrats on cleaning out your closet!!Way to go! :) You deserve to toss all those old clothes you'll never wear again, I bet that was satisfying! ;)

Whew! Gotta love a clean, organized closet... especially one with some new finds and no fat clothes! You go, girl! (Do you keep making excuses to walk in there and whip open the door just to stare at all of it? LOL! Funny, I used to make excuses to walk in the kitchen and whip open the stocked cupboards and stare at the newly bought groceries... now I can whip open the closet and stare at newly bought skinny clothes! :) )
My boys each have a biblical name and a family name. They are Aaron Christopher (DH is Christopher), David Arthur (Arthur is DH's grandfather, although I do tease him that we named him after the pbs/book character...), and Samuel James (Sounds like a riverboat, doesn't it? James is my dad.)
I also like Caleb, Micah, Adam, Simon, Josiah, and Jonah. And I must say that Gideon is a very cool cat name!

OMG, I do keep walking into my closet to stare at all of it! I'm so excited about it. It looks great! Your boys have such nice sounding distinguished names! I've always liked James a lot, as well as Adam and Jonah. Seems like we're on the same track!

Hey, you can come clean out mine too! Lol! Congratulations on getting rid of the "fat" clothes!

BTW, Our youngest son's middle name is Gabriel.
