Have you considered designing tshirts? I can see that quote plastered in hot pink letters on a black tshirt.
And figure out how we can read your memoirs. (I'm feeling bossy tonight!)

Fuunky,
I just started sparkpeople and I've been counting my calories and I'm finding it to be a large pain. I don't mind reading labels and I don't mind measuring my food (Okay. I mind a little bit. I'd rather have a vat of chips rather than 13, but you know what I mean!). Plus, it is really a pain when the food you ate isn't on the site's database. I'm thinking I may be able to do this better by just entering the numbers (here when I list my day's food) rather than calculating, etc.
Okay. That was a lot of words to say: How do you do it?
Plus, I also would like your french onion soup recipe. I love French onion soup. I tried a crock pot recipe a few weeks ago and didn't like it. Perhaps I'll give yours a try.

I'm w/ ya scrappy, I don't care for sparkpeople either!

Anyways, How are you girl?? Hows the dating scene?? WIsh I could be out there having fun, lol, but you'll have to do it for me, ok? Hope you have a great day hun!

Hey guys. Well, I got myself a bad case of strep throat. It sucks, but I got medicine and I'm feeling better. My recipe for French Onion soup is on the recipes page. Check it out!

So, when I first started counting calories I used a calorie counter website. CalorieLab.com is a good one. After a while I started to just retain the info, so for example, I know an apple is about 70, a banana is about 100, a peach is about 40, ect. With everything else I just check the calories on the package and eat by the serving size. It really isn't complicated at all. If I can do it so can you.

I've never heard of Sparkpeople, but it sounds crappy. Stick with what you know.

The dating scene is nonexistent, Korrie, but that's okay. My little torrid affair with Eric was enough to keep me going for awhile and I'm feeling rather fatalistic about everything.

Let me know if you guys need more calorie counting advice. It's really very easy.

Good morning! How is that strep throat? I hope you are feeling better today. Once two of my kids had it at the same time. They were so hard to deal with! I had to keep reminding myself that they were just hurting a lot and frustrated because they couldn't hardly eat. Anyway, you are doing great with your food, as always. ;)

Hey girl.. I'm so sorry you're sick. I know that sucks. Hope you are feeling better soon.. Lots of tea!! :)

Hope You Get To Feeling Better Girlfriend I Am Sorry Your Not 100% Keep Up The Good Work Though!!

Aw, I've done crappy these past few days. Between being sick and this thing going on with my family I have made bad choices, and I was supposed to be reformed today, but instead I only did mediocre. I only have 20 or so pounds to lose and I don't know why I can't buckle down.

Slice of leftover pizza (250)
Orange Juice (50)

Actually, I guess it wasn't terrible, just the pizza that got me. Now all the pizza is gone. This last 20 pounds is so hard to shake. Anyone have good tips?

Someone should kick my ass. I only have 20 pounds left. And they're just hanging on.

I did good today, very good, but it's the exercise I need a kick in the ass for. Oh, I dream of the day when I have a normal schedule and can go to the gym on a normal basis and on weekends. It's a distant dream, but when I'm a teacher and done with grad school I dream of going to the gym MWF after work (figuring I'll get out of work by 3 or 4) and I'll have weekends off, so I could also throw in a workout on Saturday or Sunday. It's a distant dream, but a beautiful one indeed.

Instead I work 8:30-4:30 on Saturday and 11:30-8 on Sunday. Yuck. And yeah, I could go after work Saturday, if I didn't have a buttload of homework today. Besides, I work out much harder when I go in the morning. The good news I can definitely go on Tuesday and Thursday morning. No excuses!
