Okay guys...get ready with the rotten tomatoes to throw at me...
Well, maybe they should be fresh tomatoes. At least then I can eat them.
First things first, I have not fallen off the wagon-on the contrary, I'm hanging on to it for dear life. I've just been on a very bad bad time schedule.
Renaissance Prose and Poetry was cancelled today, so I woke up this morning around 9 when a friend called and told her I'd call her back and I fell back asleep. Then I woke up at 9:15 to feed the cat. Then I fell back asleep. Then I woke up at 10 to let the cat back into my room, where he jumped on the bed and cuddled with me, so I fell back asleep. Then I stayed asleep until 1 in the afternoon.
Not kidding.
I hate myself for it, because I hate sleeping in. I had big plans to drop books off at the library, to do laundry, to go grocery shopping, and to tidy up all before my 3 o'clock class, but needless to say I was a big fat lazy bum instead and slept. Therefore, I totally missed breakfast. Again. Aghhhh!
Lunch:
2 slices Honey Wheat Bread, 1 slice Provolone, 3 slices Veggie Salami (275)
9 Cheddar Mini Rice Cakes.
So after lunch I went to Scriptwriting, then to Sign Language. Turns out I didn't have to do that Sign video until next week. Oh well, at least it's done. After my two classes it was like, 5:30 and I dropped off books at the library then I went to the gym. 30 minutes on the treadmill. All of the ellipticals were taken, which sucks, because the treadmill makes my ankle swell. After the gym I went to the store and did a huge grocery shop. Got lots of fruits and vegetables, cheese, yogurt, a few frozen things, some diet soda. Good stuff. I also had to get non food items, which always jacks up the bill-cat food, paper towels, sponges, dishwashing detergent, ect. It was $85 all together. Better than I expected actually.
Then when I got home, after I unpacked my groceries I thought "Hmm, now would be a great time to clean." Am I crazy? I think so. So I cleaned the litter box and the hamster cage, vacumned the carpet, swept and mopped the kitchen floor, wiped off the table and the counters, and unloaded the clean dishes from the dishwasher and put the dirty ones in. And I took the garbage out. By then it was 8:30 and all I had eaten all day was my crappy lunch.
So I made a healthy little dinner.
Dinner:
Big Salad with spring mix, carrots, cucumber, baby tomatoes, and a chopped up Morningstar Parm Ranch Chik Patty, with 2 tablespoons of honey mustard. (370)
And a diet Sunkist.
Ugh. Then I finally took a shower, because as you can imagine I smelled to the high heavens. I put a load of laundry in and now I'm waiting to lay on my bed like a beached whale while I watch ER. It's a repeat though, dammit. Eh, I'll still enjoy it.
At least I got a LOT accomplished. I also got my new Nine West purple purse in the mail. $62 bag for $30, thanks to eBay! Wha-hoo. And technically I used recycled money, because I used money in my account from stuff I sold on eBay to pay for it. I love eBay. And I like my new bag. It's pretty and it's nice and roomy. Now I need to find a matching wallet. I also did all of my cleaning while listening to the Ray Charles duet CD he did with a bunch of different artists. It's called "Genius Loves Company." Very good, I highly recommend it. Some songs are better than others, but everything Ray touches is gold. My favorites songs on there are the ones with Norah Jones, Van Morrison, Natalie Cole, and BB King. Check it out if you're a Ray fan.
More good news. I weighed myself at Publix and I'm hovering just around 210. The last time I weighed myself there I was 240. Hard to believe how far I've come. My best friend's mom is also a weight struggler and my best friend told me her mom asked her how much I've lost and when she told her 30 pounds she was like "I'll never catch up!!!" It's all a matter of discipline and being ready though. I started when I did because I was ready. That's all. Healthy eating (on schedule!) and exercise are the only way and I'm so glad I found this forum.
