So YAY! I knew I was making strides!! And these numbers just confirm what I have been seeing myself and how I feel! It's amazing what EATING!! Can do!! I plan to stick to it and hopefully get some of those lower half numbers down. But 2 inches off my hips is AMAZING!!!!!

September 14 {Morning}So the Duke City Marathon Event is October 19, a little over a month away, and Step and I are doing the 5K. My first running event ever! We talked about our last month of training and we decided that it would consist of running the loop 2 x per week, running the HILL once a week and then running the actual course on the weekends and of course strength training on the off days. I am really excited about doing this!!

D, I don't think I mentioned it before, but happy birthday, although quite a bit late. And please, PLEASE, don't say 24 is old! You are just starting out in life and you are healthier then ever.
The running is a great thing for the body. Keep with it and I'm sure that you'll have the results you are looking for. They say that you can't spot reduce, and I guess that's true, but adding those runner's muscles to your legs will have to displace something, right?
