Hey lady.

First, that is such bullshit about the truck. I mean having a truck stolen and not getting any coverage from an insurance company you've been paying is rotten as hell. And a huge financial blow.

What is Step doing in the meantime for transportation?

Second, wow, sounds like you're hard work is really paying off. Moms telling their daughters they're getting too skinny is so common. It's strange. The important thing is your happiness and health. Do what makes you feel good.

Yeah, its been pretty shitty thus far dealing with it. And my stand is that they can't deny him since he has been paying. But we will see what happens. He is currently driving my car and I borrowed a car from my parents. So we are covered as far as that goes. We are lucky that my parents have an extra car not being used.

Yeah I have been feeling really awesome lately and I know that what I am doing is healthy so I will continue. She is just looking out for me, but I am looking out for myself too.

And yes, today actually is my b-day.... nothing special just another day ya know?

Hey there Happy Birthday!!!!
I know I said I was going to ship out your gift yesterday, but I didnt have time so I sent it out today. Obviously you will be getting it lat, but I think you will like what I got you. So how old are you today anywyas??

Thanks lady!! And no worries about being late... I am an old lady today... 24!! Eek!! But I feel pretty damn good if I may say so myself!

Well happy bday. I treat that day similarly... nothing special.

And a huge congrats on those numbers, they're amazing!

Thanks, yeah once you hit a certain age it becomes just another day. And I hate that everyone around me wants to make a huge fuss so I try to lay low.

Thanks on the congrats.... I agree those numbers are amazing!!! And better yet I feel amazing!!:)

Congratulations!

You're dong great! That is so encouraging to see other people on here doing such a great job, I'm glad I joined. Okay this is so off topic, but how you you get your ticker to show up? I'm doing something wrong I guess. Keep up the good work!!!:hurray:

Thanks lady, I hope I can be of some motivation for newbies. I have been at this {loosing weight} for a long time, and you have to remind yourself that its a lifestyle change your making not a quick fix. I'm to the point now that I just set fitness goals... I threw the scale out the window and base my progress off measurements and most importantly how I feel.

I left a quick message on your profile about the ticker... hopefully it helps!

Thanks for stopping by!

September 14 {Morning}

Okay just wanted to pop in real quick. This morning we planned to do the loop, but the wind is howling!!! Like rattling the windows knock you over howling... so we decided to stay in. Hopefully it will calm down by this evening and we can go then.

So the Duke City Marathon Event is October 19, a little over a month away, and Step and I are doing the 5K. My first running event ever! We talked about our last month of training and we decided that it would consist of running the loop 2 x per week, running the HILL once a week and then running the actual course on the weekends and of course strength training on the off days. I am really excited about doing this!!

So, that's all... I'm off to starbucks for a coffee... just coffee... we are all out here and I need my morning joe! Today is low key again, however my parents want to go out for my bday, which is fine. I also have a bit of studying to do, which I am going to get on top of as soon as I get my coffee!!!!

September 15

It's Monday and I was such a bum this weekend. Pretty much didn't do a dang thing including make a plan for the week. We had a late lunch/dinner with my parents which took up most of our afternoon yesterday and then I studied for the rest of the evening and we never got around to making a menu or grocery list for the week. But I am working on one now. I took out chicken for dinner so at least I was thinking that far in advance.

Step and I talked a bit about where I am headed with my goals as far as fitness and weight-loss are concerned and before now the plan was to get down to 140 and then maintain. Mostly because I was unsure of what my body would look like at 140, but now that I am only 2 lbs away I think I could loose another 5-8 lbs and still look "healthy." And since its been crazy easy to get to where I am now I feel I would have no problem with another few pounds. All I have to do is eat and run!!

I am still amazed at the results I have gotten with consistant running. I honestly thought I would have fat ugly legs the rest of my life... but I now believe that I can have the ripped sexy runner's legs I've always dreamed of having!!!

So that's all for now... its close to lunch and I am STARVING!!!! I did't put much thought into paking my lunch box this morning and am regreting it now... Ugh oh well!!

I was so happy with my results... it seems like it had been months since I had seen any reall big change... but I was starving myself in that I was only getting 1000 cals a day give or take about 100... but I started eating and its made a huge difference... plus running is my life savor!!!

I am excited about this event... Stephen said races are a blast... I am hoping to have a good time if anything!!

D, I don't think I mentioned it before, but happy birthday, although quite a bit late. And please, PLEASE, don't say 24 is old! You are just starting out in life and you are healthier then ever.

The running is a great thing for the body. Keep with it and I'm sure that you'll have the results you are looking for. They say that you can't spot reduce, and I guess that's true, but adding those runner's muscles to your legs will have to displace something, right?

Thanks Trops!! And I know 24 is still young! I have my whole life ahead of me!!

I wish I could spot reduce, but the weight comes off of where it pleases. However I am getting to the point that the only place I have any weight left to lose is in my legs... I'm pretty bony up top now adays. But I've found that running is the only thing so far that has showed results, and amazing ones at that.
