bought a new bike off of craigslist for 80 bucks.

it's a ladies schwinn (same brand as my lost one) classic tho, this one is 100% cruiser frame which makes it so comfortable, AND it's sexy...i hope this one stays with me for long =(

my TWO bike locks and a bike light will be coming in the mail shortly, hopefully by monday.
 
Hey girl, glad to see you got a new bike! I HATE when people do that sh**! Someone stole my bike right outta my front yard a couple of years ago... dumb a**es.... My kids bought me a new one this year for Mother's Day though... although I've only ridden it once ha ha!

yeah, my locks are STILL NOT HERE and they're only an hour away from here....but i chose standard shipping since it's free for me..booo. the consequences.

my roommate keeps her fuckin fan on all the fuckin time..even when it's 55 degrees outside, and opening a FUCKING WINDOW would do better circulation than a fan.

i'm really picky about things like that, be efficient. cause i'm paying PG&E too. considerate? please...would you like me to keep something on, all day, every day?

once finals ends wednesday, i am soooo back on this. i have 10 days until summer school, 17 days until my volunteer at the med center, so i can finally focus on this and figure things out to SUCCEED. and this weight gotta go. duh duh duh

i'm currently contemplating on getting a CNA certificate instead of volunteering...i could be making money for the stuff i do.

Have any of you drank WHEY PROTEIN as part of your diet?

Back in january 2007, I used to drink whey protein shakes (to go with my bodybuilding diet), and i broke out really really bad along my chin/lower side of my face. I asked that forum and someone told me it was because my lymph nodes were not behaving correctly, so I took out the whey protein from my diet, and my face slowly cleared up (acne). then i thought about it today, since i have about 3 pounds of the stuff left, maybe it's because i mixed the whey protein with SOY MILK...cow milk with soy milk = bad combo? possibly, right? And since i'm lactose intolerant, I should be drinking pure whey protein isolate, and the stuff i have IS whey protein isolate. with some lactase, which helps break down lactose, that is the amount in the brand of whey protein i have.

All in all, I am preparing for my weight loss, doing research, finding the top 10 best protein, veggies, and fiber choices around.

This guy that I uh..was with? whatever, not officially, but pretty damn exclusively since like 2006 just told me that he's moving on. and umm...i'm feeling like shit. i knew this day would come, but not anytime soon? i thought i would be the one doing the heartbreaking, but yeah...right.

we started off as really good friends in 2006, then started hanging out in 2007, and at the end of 2007, his "the one" girl got single, so he left me to try to get to her, and then he failed, came back to me, i accepted, and we had it rough, but it just didn't go back to the same.

i was straight up treated like a plan B. i'm thru with this shit!!!!!!!!
c'mon weight-loss, let's get going. i gotta prove to him that he made the wrong choice........

I NEVER in the LIFE of ME thought anyoneeeee WOULD I WOULD understand what I GO THROUGH every SINGLE night of EVERY DAY of my LIFE....like HELLO have we HEARD of TEMPRATURE CHANGES?!!! ....GUESS NOT huh...my BF is RIDICULOUS with the FAn......I think HE DOES it on PURPOSE to TEASE ME....but the REALITY is the COLDER it ETS the HIGHER the FAN goes ON!!!!!!! Laura, I think in your schedule you are eating too few calories, if you are going to bike 40 miles AND do cardio for 60 minutes, you should really eat more than 1200 cals. You are just going to suffer under that (I am not sure if I believe in the slowing metabolism theory), and if you suffer you are mroe prone to stop doing it.
I would recommend eating 2000-1800 to start with and then reduce slowly.

Good luck, I also have a busy schedule for the next month in the quest for the perfect bikini body...

Thanks for the feedback! First of all, I realized that also too. I haven't started it yet, I start this Wednesday. From previous times, I KNOW 1200 calories is super low when combined with a strong exercise routine. That is the bottom line. I will see how it goes for the first few days at around 1500 calories IF i remain loyal to the exercise routine. I will listen to my body so I don't binge/jump off.

I agree with Camy. It definitely seems incredibly low for the amount of exercise you are going to be doing. 1500 is probably too low as well. The exercise seems a bit excessive as well. Just make sure you listen to your body (like you said), so you don't burn yourself out. I'm really excited for you though. Having a plan laid out really helps rather than randomness. You are going to succeed. I know it! :)

And I know it's a lot easier said than done, but forget the boy. You just said that you are young, extemely educated, have nice ass hair, and about to have an incredible body. You have so much going for you. You're upset and sad right now, but trust me, you WILL move on. Just focus on yourself right now because YOU are who matters the most.

I will recalculate using that funky somethin' equation to figure out how much calories i should be eating with the amount of exercising i expect to do. I'll tell y'all soon.

I'm going to go home this weekend, well cause it's after finals, i'm going to pick up my whey protein powder AND some multivitamin pills...i need 'em! =O

I lost my bike last week? Now I lost my watch, my Harajuku lovers watch. fuckkk. Never come home drunk. or buzzed. or after-drinking. it...disappeared.

Upside: It was from Nordstrom rack- so it only cost 35 bucks
Downside: I keep losing shit......what does this mean.....

oh yeah, biking with three locks is pretty funny.

wow...i was off, way off....I'll figure things out, I'll try to stay within 1800-2000 calories, depending on my 1) energy level 2) that extra "energy" i feel while working out (I'LL NEED IT!!!) and 3) weight loss.

$50 groceries/week for myself all fresh all organic

Protein Shake (whey, berries, banana)
1/2 c of oats

fruit and 1/2 ww npb sandwich

edamame? fruit

dinner
lean protein, steamed veggies, and 1 slice of bread w/ 1 tbsp of jam hehehe

I hope all of that can equal around 1800 calories, and I will definitely be spreading out all these foods...
 
Avoid too much salt and take it easy on the sweets but don't deny yourself a treat now and then (or every day if you want).
Forgive yourself for gaining the weight in the first place and forgive yourself for every thing and for every way in which you're not perfect.
Love yourself ... or at least keep a check on the "self-hater" ie; the one who judges and condemns yourself for being who you are. Tell it to leave you alone or to shut-up.
Basically, aside from the emotional and psychological reasons that people eat too much, it really does come down to eating healthy foods and getting enough exercise or enough daily activity.
20 minutes of aerobic workout a day is enough if you're not gung-ho about working out. Just get some sweat happening and get your heart rate up.
Finally, imagine your body as healthy and slim and imagine yourself as happy.

I just need some TIME to gather this into some kind of structure (i love structure...) so I can do it. And I will, after 1230pm after my microecon final.

I used to enjoy working out, like killing the elliptical, now i'm only 19 years old, how the hell did i get so lazy?!?!?!?!?!! i refuse to be a lazyass....

yes, at times, i can be hard on myself...

So I killed everything I have to eat, not because of the diet, but because i'm broke. Sigh* I blew my first whole paycheck (which was actually the combo of two paychecks) on 3 grocery trips and clothing purchases...stupppid

I get another paycheck tomorrow. MONEY MANAGEMENT. most likely, i will be paying half of my new cell phone....so goodbye paycheck. once again.

All I have left is one fillet of mackarel, a can of green beans, and a healthy choice panini. For drinks, I have like 7 capri suns left

and half a jar of npb with some amount of ginger cookies, variety is low. I can't wait to go shopping at farmer's markets and the nugget...
