Heya Sarah, great job on the workouts! You're an inspiration in motivation! (I'm a poet and didn't know it! Oh wait, I did. :D)

It is gloomy weather here too. I finally get people to come out and visit the new farm for a Halloween bonfire party, and of COURSE it will pour down rain the entire time.

Oh man, it's been sun-less for the past few days where I'm at :( and very icy cold. Pretty dumpy! It really makes me want to avoid exercising! It's inspiring how you still get out there and exercise on your own! Me, I have yet to exercise by myself.. I need my trainers lol

I think it will be a good thing going into Halloween because it will make you push harder - right? You are doing so good though and sometimes we just need that snack after 7pm so don't beat yourself up if you don't stick to that. Water, water, water! Speaking of water - I need some. Have a great weekend Sarah - next week I will help you push it and we will get there together! Stay strong and keep up the positive attitude! Party hard!

Thanks!!!!! :D I'm hoping this might mean a greater loss for next week... it was nice to be 2 pounds down last week but hey it can't always be like that every week! and I drank 100 oz of water today so far!!!! :p I'm really gonna do good with that this week :) and I will definitely need you to keep me in line next week! i'll help you too because well... this weekend... you know :p have fun!!!!!

Happy Halloween everyone!

Just a little update real quick.....

I drank 120 oz of water yesterday... whew! That is A LOT for me! I was in the bathroom every 5 minutes though lol!

ALSO, I weighed myself this morning for my OFFICIAL Halloween weight... and I was 142.6 :) so that was nice to see!!! I'm not going to change my ticker for it or really hold onto that as my weigh in this weekend because I want to see the difference from Friday to Friday. So if I'm higher or not quite lower, it's okay because yesterday I was 1.2 pounds heavier when I weighed myself in the morning.

Oh boy! What a night.

Lots of drinking of course. And walking around Madison for an hour looking for my friends led to finding a McDonald's which led me to EAT. My boyfriend was with me and I guess he tried to tell me not to get any food (he knew I wouldn't have gone there if I wasn't drinking) but I didn't listen to him. I scarfed down a Mc chicken, a small fry, and a hot fudge sunday with nuts. GEEZ. I mean, I had a turkey cheese and mustard sandwich at 5 PM before we left so I of course wanted to eat something! I'm just upset that it had to be McDonald's. Ohhh well!

I made an egg and oatmeal this morning for breakfast. After the Packers vs. Vikings game GO PACK GO! I'm going to go to the gym (if this hangover wears off a bit).

ONE WEEK TIL MY 5K!!! Oh boy!

I can't believe it's November....

So I DID make it to the gym last night after the terrible loss for the Packers vs Vikings game... UGH. I only did 20 minutes on the treadmill and 20 minutes on the elliptical. My shins were hurting as I was running so I decided to stop. As we speak I am sitting on my bed with bags of frozen vegetables on my shins because I always have shins splints now apparently!!! SO ANNOYING!!! But I was able to do my run this morning...

3 minutes walking warm up
20 minutes running @ 5.6 mph
1 minute walking
9 minutes running @ 5.6 mph
5 minutes walking incline
2 minutes walking cool down
= 40 minutes, 3.33 miles

I did some side bends w/weights, arms, abs... feelin' pretty good! It's also Monday so that means tonight is my cycling class! Yay :D

32 oz of water down so far today... 68 to go! :)

I just ate a bagel w/light cream cheese for breakfast... 300 cal. I need to go grocery shopping - I need some eggs and some salad and some fruit!

I'm ready to do my best this week!!! The 5K is just SIX DAYS AWAY.... eeeek! I am very excited for it though and I can't believe that it's already here! Time is just flying by!

Don't worry about the McDonald's - I was way worse! Your going to rock it this week! I'll be stopping by lots for inspiration because I'm feeling crappy today. So keep up the positive attitude - eventually it will be contagious again!

Holy crap girl, you are looking fantastic!!!! 3.5in off your stomach... so AWESOME!!! You better be telling all your family to get you new clothes for x-mas?!?! ;)

I also have shin splints too, which I'm worried about mainly because I am trying out for the boxing team and there's only 2 weeks left :( Gahh, they are really annoying..

Thanks everyone!!! :) I'm so proud of myself... I NEVER would have thought I could turn my life around and actually see a healthy change in my body! All it takes is a little hard work ;)

I just got back from my cycling class.... wow! My thighs are still burnin'! haha :)

Here is what I ate today:
Breakfast: Bagel w/cream cheese (300 cal)
Snack: Almonds (90 cal)
Lunch: PB+J sandwich, cottage cheese, pickle (315 cal)
Pre-workout dinner: Smart One's ravioli (250 cal)
Post-workout dinner: Rice cake (45 cal)

and now I'm currently making some steamed veggies so that will be 90 cal or so.... this makes the total calories for my day pretty low (1,090) and I'm not sure I will feel satisfied with just a cup of steamed veggies... maybe I'll have some yogurt for dessert, that will bring me to 1,200.

Goodnight everyone! Let's have a good week... it's already off to a great start for me! I'm pumped!!! :D

I only did abs after because I was a little lazy :)

For breakfast I had a piece of toast, some sliced peaches and some cottage cheese = 220 cals.

So yep :) Tuesday is off to a great start...

Your so awesome and dedicated. I have hit a wall and can't seem to get back up. I didn't go to the gym last night and skipped aerobics. I woke up with a sore throat and used that as an excuse not to go to the gym this morning either. I feel like I am disappointing you and everyone on here and that makes me feel more guilty. I haven't been drinking any water or tea and eating crap - my stomach hates me :rant: sorry to rant in your journal when your so positive and having a great week so far. I'll go pollute my own journal and maybe that will make me feel better. Keep it up Sarah! i'll be back soon :grouphug:

Don't be sorry!!! I always look forward to hearing from you! It's okay that you have hit a wall - but you WILL get back up, you and I both know this!! But if you continue to make excuses for yourself you're going to kick yourself in the butt when you step on the scale this week. You are SO CLOSE to the 140's you can almost taste it! I too am so close to the 130's... so we are both battling these last couple pounds together! And if you want it bad enough you will get there!!!! I will not give up on you, please don't give up on yourself! You've already come this far... don't start throwing it away. You can always turn it around - so get to the gym and get back in the game! I understand what you mean about feeling like you are disappointing us here - but you're not. I think about all of you when I'm running at the gym and I don't want to run those last couple minutes... I want to stop so bad but I think about you guys and how I want to tell you that I accomplished my goals for that day and that I didn't give up! The good thing is your are still coming here and connecting with people and this is important so that you are staying in the game. If you were to stop writing in your journal before you met your goals, I would be really sad to see you disappear. Sorry I'm going on for so long!! :blush5: To wrap this up, stay focused - don't let go. I hope you have a good day and I hope to hear some good news in your journal later!!!
