Lookin good girl I love your confidence!! I used to take pics of myself like this, but it was as punishment. I would look at them with disgust so my husband made me stop. I love that you are doing it to celebrate yourself. That's just so awesome. You ROCK

LOL yes my room is a little cleaner in this picture! However it doesn't get much cleaner than that - I'm so lazy! haha. And thank you for the compliment!!!! I remember how much I hated taking that first picture... but I KNEW I would want to look back on it and see the progress I made. Keeps me goin :)

Can definitely see the difference- most around your tummy and the curve of your waist. Looks more toned. Great going!!! And good luck with the last 10 lbs.

I can see a difference too! I agree with juni, it's the curve of your waist that has changed =) KEEP UP THE AWESOME WORK!! You motivated me to take a picture of myself to track the changes!
thanks zephyr!!! it is really cool to take a picture before so you can look back and see how far you have come. i was told by someone to do this. if not for that person, i probably never would have taken the picture and it would have been harder for me to see my progress! this is a great way to remind yourself that your hard work is paying off :)

thanks girl :) :) yes, this weekend wasn't the best but its crunch time now cuz Halloween is right around the corner! ahhh!!

Alright guys, so here is the recap for my day:

Workout - 20 minutes treadmill, 20 minutes elliptical w/ resistance & incline, 5 minutes rowing machine, arms/abs

Breakfast - Smoothie (1 scoop protein powder, 6 oz pineapple orange juice, 4 strawberries, ice)
Snack - Almonds
Lunch - PB&J, celery w/cream cheese (there I go again with that damn cream cheese!! LOL)
Snack - Yogurt, pretzel crisps
Snack - String cheese
Dinner - Smart One's ravioli
Snack - 1/2 cup apple sauce

Workout - 60 minutes cycling class... whew! My booty is hurtin' for certain! LOL it was an AWESOME workout though... can't wait to do it again :)

So I just got back and made myself another smoothie. I used 1 scoop of my protein powder with 1/2 cup skim milk, 1 banana, 4 strawberries and some ice. The serving size for my protein powder is 3 scoops @ 280 calories total and 60 grams of protein. So 1 scoop gives me about 95 calories and 20 grams of protein.

Total calories for today: 1,474

Well that's all for tonight..... I'm going to try to do some homework but I might just get a little lazy and decide to go to bed early :)

Wow, I didn't realize Halloween was so soon ahh! I'm going to a dance/party thing and a few of my friends and I are dressing up as pirates, but CUTE pirates, complete with short black skirts and tight shirts eeek! I've gotta step it up too.

Sooo good morning everyone :)

Today is off to a pretty good start. I went the gym this morning and did the treadmill routine that I wasn't capable of doing yesterday! So I'm proud of that:

3 minute warm up walking
12 minute run
1 minute walk
12 minute run
1 minute walk
4 minute run
7 minute walking incline
= 40 minutes

Followed by the usual arms/abs. For breakfast I had half of a blueberry bagel with cream cheese. Lots of cream cheese. But I used the rest of it up so the cream cheese is GONE!!! I swear, it is my weakness! lol I'm such a cheesehead :) GO WISCONSIN! haha. I also ate some yoplait light thick & creamy yogurt.. cinnamon roll flavor. It REALLY tastes like a cinnamon roll! But I don't like how the thick & creamy is textured and it is a liiiittle too sweet for my liking so I only ate half of it.

I hope today goes by fast.... I wanna be done with classes so I can come home and take a nap!!! I'm so tired!

Ohh, I kind of want to write that down somewhere and try it out! I used to do more treadmill than elliptical, but these days, I've been doing the latter. This is making me want to get back on the treadmill though!

Zephyr - Definitely try intervals on the treadmill! I started out running 1 min / walking 1 min (10x) and have kept building up. This has helped me tremendously in running because before I would just try to run 1 mile straight which seemed like forever! Keeping track of time and when to rn and when to walk and how many times to repeat really takes my mind off of how far I'm actually going. The above routine that you commented gets me 3.2 miles running @ 5.5 mph and walking at 3.7 mph.

SO my knees are hurting pretty bad! :( I think it's from the elliptical yesterday morning, cycling last night and then running this morning. Maybe it was too much for my knees... idk. I hope they feel better in the morning. I feel like I need a nice big stretch before bed!

Lunch - Turkey cheese mustard sandwich, almonds, string cheese

Good morning!

Happy Hump Day! lol :)

Soooo happy this week has been flying by... I have an awesome weekend ahead of me! NO work :) Tomorrow I get to go home and see my sweetie :beating:... Friday I'm going to a concert in Chicago!!! And Saturday I will be back at school for homecoming :) Yes that means PARTY... uh oh! The drinking I'm not worried about, it's the EATING that I'm worried about! I already know whoever I'm with is gonna want to pig out on pizza.... (Toppers pizza is the big thing around here) so maybe I'll just go buy a lean cuisine personal pizza and eat that if I feel tempted :) Haha!

This morning I went to the gym... of course :)! Here's how it went:

13 minutes running
1 minute walking
13 minutes running
1 minute walking
2 minutes running
6 minutes walking incline
1 minute cool down
= 40 minutes, 3.27 miles

And again, followed by arms/abs. For breakfast I had a cup of Honey Nut Cheerios with half a cup skim milk. I also had a rice cake (40 cal) with a tablespoon of peanut butter. Yummm! I'm planning on having my Smart Ones meal for lunch, and I think I'm going to make a protein shake for dinner.

I'm gonna take a quick nap before I have to start getting ready for class!

Well hello! Here is a little update....

Breakfast - Honey nut cheerios w/skim milk, rice cake w/peanut butter
Snack - Almonds
Lunch - Smart Ones chicken fettucini
Snack - Granola bar
Dinner - Smootie (1 scoop whey powder, 1 cup milk, 1 banana, strawberries, ice) and peanut butter morning minis (I've been craving peanut butter sooo bad lately!!!)

I didn't finish my smoothie... I'm SO full. My total calories came out to 1,325. I just took all of my post it notes of daily caloric intakes and added them up, averaged them out and got 1,283. Soooooo yeah. That's below what I SHOULD be consuming, but I'm not gonna force myself to have more just for the sake of having more!

I'm veryyyy tired... have a pigsty of a room to clean... gonna do that and get to bed early tonight!

Good Morning!

Feelin' good today!!!

This morning at the gym, I did intervals on the treadmill: 1 min run / 1 min walk (10x) and walked incline to 30 minutes. I did 10 minutes on the elliptical with resistance and incline as well. Then I did arms/abs. I can tell my abs are getting stronger! I'm proud of them :)

Just ate breakfast.... had half of a blueberry bagel w/butter, an egg, and a cup of skim milk... 305 calories total.

Now I gotta get ready for class and for THE WEEKEND!!! Yay... can't wait!!!

Tomorrow is weigh in.... ahhhhh! I'm nervous! I think I did okay this week though.

I am SO inspired by how steadily you are dropping these lbs!!!...You really make me want to weigh myself and not be scarred of the scale!! hahaha....to do that...I need to make it to the gym!!...Hmmm...maybe today I will after work, just for curiousity and motivation! :D!......The lowest I have ever been is 142!!!...:D!!

So yesterday wasn't the best for eating, but here's what I had:
Breakfast - Half bagel w/cream cheese, apple w/peanut butter
Snack - Ice cream sandwich (what!?! lol)
Lunch - Half peanut butter sandwich, string cheese, almonds
Snack - Coffee
Dinner - Chicken quesedilla from taco bell...

That was it... my caloires came out to 1,497 so atleast I stayed within my range.

I had a crappy dinner because we stopped somewhere in Chicago before our concert..... which was AMAZING!!!!! Omg... I totally rocked out alll night!!! I was sweatin after the 2nd song (had sweat dripping from my face and my pants were stuck to my legs!) There were so many people pushing and shoving I almost couldn't breathe but it was a work out in itself! haha :p

Today for breakfast I had some oatmeal, an egg, and a piece of toast with butter (305 calories total). I did the treadmill:
3 minute walking warm up
15 minutes running
1 minute walking
14 minutes running
1 minute walking
6 minutes walking incline
= 40 minutes (3.3 miles)

Feelin' good :) My neighbor that is in town (she moved to north carolina and I haven't seen her since winter) came to see me today and called me a "skinny minny" and told me to eat a cheese burger lol I took it as a compliment though cuz she was joking with me. But it was nice that it was noticeable!!!

Now I'm off to do some drinking... I know I know this is NOT good for my weight loss but you know what... it's homecoming and I deserve to have a little fun for meeting my first goal!!! :p
