If there's no struggle, there's no progress!!!

sorry to hear about the foot, calcification is not always a death sentence for exercise but your foot does sound pretty bad. I have had calcification scraped out of my knee when I was younger and I also have a calcified rotator cuff but it can be managed.

Hi everyone, appreciate the stopby and thought. My second opinion actually retired as of today from Kaiser, he did refer me to another Podiatrist. I got an appt on Tuesday at 8:50am.

My family and i (and my boss...) are awaiting the verdict.

Is a triple joint fusion the way to go?

How do I get to see 191 after eating poor choices yesterday? kinda odd.

I went to the gym and had an excellent session on the cycling bike. Love that thing as long it doesn't cause me pain anywhere else.

I might've been "bloated" last week due to a period, but the period never came. Boo! I hope I don't get it in San Diego! Leaving really early Saturday AM

Starting this foolish month at 191.6. I had a tough night falling asleep, I think I went to bed at 2AM, woke up at 7:15. It's already April, I'm half way until school begins. I gotta get serious here.

"I have to..."
"I should/could/would..."
"I've got to..."
"I need to..."
But what do I want? Cause obviously I'm lacking.

It's really difficult to say "no" and to gain self-control. If that is something I can learn and become better at in the next 4 months, I'd consider that an accomplishment. I don't feel so defeated right now. I've made progress. I need to make some more. I think I'm two pounds lighter than last week. So at the very least, I am 1) out of the 193s and despite my eating habits 2) I've lost two pounds.

Thanks swimming and cycling. You're keeping your end of the bargain.

Weigh-in: 188.8 (hahaha...I first typed 198...hahahaha never again.)
BM:0

Food
Breakfast-1 cup milk, 120cal
Lunch- chicken and veggies, 1 cup sweet potato "fries", cheese stick, 400cal
Snack- 3 chocolates, Nestle Ice cream drumstick, 450cal
Dinner- Taco bell, 3 tacos and 1 burrito supreme, 1050cal
Calories: 2020

Exercise
50min cycling
10min swim (constant, faster speed than ever before), 10min steam room

So excited to see 188.8 this morning. Didn't wake up with a starving head ache either. It was an impulse, no real buzzing energy, but just a subconscious urgency that totally overrode my body. So, I grabbed my keys, got in the car, drove the mile to taco bell, ordered, hurriedly came home, made sure my hulu was on a fresh video, and ate.

Weighed 191.6 with clothes on after workout at gym. Feeling confident I'll be sub 190 tomorrow.

1. You know you're morbidly obese when black men don't even look at you.
2. You know you're obese when black men give you a second look.
3. You know you're overweight when black men talk to you.
4. You know you're just right when a white man talks to you. (c'mon, i'm asian!)
5. You know you're skinny when a white man, who looks like he reads manga and starts speaking Japanese to you.

I'm at statement 2. Can't wait to end up at statement 4 or 5...the one where I can reject men.

I think at times we can all be too hard on ourselves. Nobody's perfect. Well I am, but other than me nobody else is. :D

Food
Breakfast cheese stick
Lunch chicken and veggies
Dinner 1 grapefruit and 1 cup squid sliced in red pepper sauce, 200
Calories: 480

Exercise
60min cycling (lasting for 60 minutes is no longer any difficulties...WOORAH!)

Schedule got thrown odd today cause I got called into work.i woke up to 190..makes sense. I was dehtdrated to weigh in 188 anyway. Im cycling right now as I make this edit. Just got an hour long massage.. got my ass handed to me. Lol. As much as diet is a huge factor in weight loss. Exercise has been key fore to see changes and for others to see changes. Got two comments today.

I forgot my flip flops so I might just cycle. Going for 60 minutes is actually no longer hard. I gotta up my intensity afterall. But I still drip sweat, so let's not say I'm getting lazy. Came home and weighed 189.4. Took a bath and was hungry so had a serving of squid of spicy red sauce and 1 whole grapefruit. I feel like I just ate a buffet! So stuffed. Water hits the spot as well.

Taco Bell dinner?? Man, i need to find a way to eat Taco bell and lose weight. :)
What's San Diego about? Just a visit?

Hey Don

Going down for a mini vacay with the girlies. We have evening kayak and paddleboarding on the menu. Also the dirtiest mexican food we can find.

Im still on the cycle bike. I think my pelvic bone would appreciate the rest.

That sounds like fun.... a long time ago I knew of a GREAT Mexican food place in SD. There was an open courtyard and a woman with a pot of masa dough would make fresh, warm tortillas on a hot flat top and give them to patrons to munch while waiting to sit. They had pico de gallo and and guacamole, too. Mmmm.... memories. Have a great time!

No exercise for today. I still haven't packed for San Diego. Eugh. I'm very very happy that I pooed twice today. Definitely wasn't expecting that!

About to roll over and take a nap....still got some time to weigh in for DietBet, so I'll do it tonight.

I weighed in at 187.2 tonight to win my DietBet! Well, it's under review, but to me, I won! I had to do a shit load of house work to lose the weight (and also get ready for San Diego)

After I weighed in, I took a bath, got up with a headache, so I had to eat dinner #2. Ah, feel okay again.

Gotta get up at 5am. see you guys all. will b e checking in on my phone.

Goals for vacation

Food
+Drink tons of water, only water.
+Eat less carbs (breads like on sandwiches)
+Eat veggies and fruit (stop by grocery store on first day and load up on a gallon water, some citrus, and a bell pepper)
-1 bell pepper, 2 bananas, 4 oranges, 6 cheese sticks
+Mexican? Eat tacos w/ chicken, pass on the cheese and sour cream.
+Brunch? Hollandaise sauce on the side.
+No alcohol.

I've done very well on my vacation! Ate one too many salsa and chips, had carne asada fries THREE times, but overall, my whole body is sore from paddleboarding and sea kayaking was a workout itself.

I weighed in at 194.6 tonight, so gained 2-3 pounds. Easy fix y'all. Eating a grapefruit for dinner and planning a long gym session tomorrow!

BTW, won my dietbet! Got the next one to weigh in on Wednesday

Weigh-in: 192.8
BM: 2 + 4 watery (cause of the milk? most likely, but what about all this water I'm drinking?)

Woke up today at 192.8. Going to the Giants game tonight so walking from BART to the stadium is a good 15 minute walk and then back. Also sitting in the third tier is no easy cake walk. My body is still very sore! Definitely want to do a gym session, but feeling a bit lazy right now. Hard to get up!

Food
Breakfast: 2 fried eggs, 1/4 cup shredded Mexican cheese (not real mexican cheese!), 1 cup broccoli, 1 cup carrot, 6oz chicken breast, 6oz meatloaf, 2 cups fat free milk, 1000cal
@ the game: chicken tenders, garlic fries, orange, roasted edamame, chocolate, kettle corn, 650
Calories: 1650
Water Intake: 11

I ate two of those homemade packaged meals my brother prepares. They are awesome. Steamed broccoli and steamed carrots all weighed out with the chicken breast and homemade meatloaf. Although I am a bit lactose intolerant, the milk is refreshing

Exercise
60min cycling every thigh muscle is sore
60min to and from BART

Will not weigh in tomorrow. ..going to increase water intake to a gallon. Dont want to get discouraged. Will start logging in water intake

I'm going to take a banana to snack on while on BART, will probably share garlic fries and chicken tenders with my friend. Got oranges and some pocky sticks to snack on. Leftovers from the SD trip.
