Thanks Q! It was great. We didn't run as much as I had wanted but it was an awesome day. We did a run walk interval for the first 2.5 km and then walked the rest. My heel is doing pretty good so I think it was a good run overall. I got a little massage ball for it and it feels so good. Rest day tomorrow. I think ill rock that! Lol.
 
Rocked the rest day. But now I'm sick. I blame my coworker. She is one of those people that always comes to work. Even when she is sick. I hate when people come to work sick. Just stay home so I don't catch it. I'll even cover and do your work for you. End rant.

Tomorrow is thanksgiving and run day. I'll probably do the treadmill after supper. It feels a little softer on my heel then outside does. Interval of some sort, still playing it by ear so as not to cause further injury.
 
The treadmill is a good idea considering your injury (and maybe minimal incline as well?).

Congrats on your weight loss so far!
 
No treadmill on Monday. Took a sick days and stayed in bed with my cold. Yuck! I did workout today since the sickness was above the neck. It was great! Did some HIIT and some stretching. I'll be tender tomorrow. Still feeling sick but it felt good to workout hard. Tomorrow is scheduled to be a rest day but if I am feeling well I might do Monday's run.
 
I wish I was feeling better. I now a a sinus infection. Fun!
Going to do a 5k walk on Saturday since that's about all I can do without drowning in snot. Maybe a weight training video. We'll see if I can get motivated for that. Luckily I have been good with my eating and drinking so I am down a pound. :)
 
Take care of that sinus infection before it has the chance to get any worse. Don't push yourself too hard; you're already doing amazing as it is. Hope you're feeling better soon!

Did a 5k meander. Very slow but good to get out. Also did some of a weight training video. It felt good. Going to try a jump rope tabata tomorrow. I'll write it out once I'm done setting it up and then I'll post how it went. I am really liking the tabata format.
 
Jump rope Tabata (20 sec work, 10 sec rest)
Warm up 3ish minutes of easy movement.
1. Basic jump
2. Jack jump
3. Cross country ski jump
4. Bell jump forward & backward
5. Toe heel jump
6. Twist
7. Right leg
8. Left leg
Rest 1 minute
Repeat * 2ish (?)
Cool down
Stretch

I did the skipping workout and it was so fun that I went through it 7 times. It didn't feel that hard when I was doing it but wow. I feel it now.
 
:blush5:I'm glad to hear that you are feeling better. Dont forget to have enough sleep so you have more strength on your exercise. Is skipping hard to do? I honestly never experience that.

Skipping can be hard. I only skipped 20 seconds then rest for 10 so it makes it easier than skipping for a long time in one go.

I am not as sore today as I thought I would be so I am happy. Going down stairs is a little tender but ok.

No workout today-rest day. I am doing a body pump class tomorrow. It should be fun!
 
Tuesday I did a body pump style class. It was awesome. We did a dynamic lunge sequence that was killer awesome!
Today we did 5km in 44 minutes. I think I am on the mend. Still not feeling 100% but better for sure. Now I just have to try not to catch something else.
Plan for the week is:
Sunday-weight train 60 min class
Monday-run 30 - 60 min
Tuesday-weight train 60 min class
Wednesday-rest
Thursday-run 30-60 min
Friday-rest and trick or treating ;)
Saturday-run
 
Missed the weight training on Sunday due to a super fun day out with the family that included pumpkin carving. Yay!
Did my short run today. Just 30 mins or walk/run.
Ready for body pump on Tuesday.

Eating has been pretty good if you don't count today's many ginger molasses cookies and cupcake batter. So yummy, but now I feel sick. Way too much sugar.
 
Did a jump rope workout yesterday and a boot amp workout today. It was awesome!

Eating yesterday and today was pretty good. I'm trying to track with myfitnesspal and that seems to be going ok.

Plan for tomorrow is to eat well and maybe go for a walk. Wednesday is rest day this week.
