So I made a decision last night. I am not quitting, and I will still keep coming on here, but I think I'm going to not stress about working out, and may give myself a little more snack with the eating. Maybe this is just an excuse I want so I can drink pop again and overeat, but with the wedding planning and work I just can't deal with it right now.
So for the next 1.5 weeks I will not worry about working out, if I do great, if not oh well. I will work on calling more venues for the wedding and booking a date and location and cater (hopefully this weekend or early next week that will be set). I will still try to eat healthy but I will not worry about it quite as much. I am concerned I will gain weight but I think once this part of the planning is done I will be able to relax a little more. There will still be tons to due of course, but the deadline won't be as important.
I had planned on making Sheppard's Pie yesterday, even bought ground beef and potatoes, but then my fiance was sick and wasn't going to eat (except for sushi) and I said forget it. Made a hot dog for dinner then went to my sis's to talk wedding stuff. I woke up earlier today and decided to still follow my plan of cooking the chicken that had been defrosting about 24 hrs in the fridge, so I cut that up with veggies and potatoes and some chicken seasoning stuff and lemon juice other spices. It is cooking for 8 hours on low so I guess we shall see how it turns out! I have rice set aside and will make that when I get home, but I'm really hoping it all cooks right and tastes good! I didn't want to put it for 10 hours because I was afraid that would be too long. Going to try leaving work early though to catch it right away and see if it's cooked or needs longer. I did cut the chicken breast into cubes so I figure that should help cook it faster right? Hoping there is enough liquid in it too. Oh well time will tell.
Anyways, after that I took a shower and then weighed myself. 140.5. Wait...what? *looks again* yup, 140.5, sweet!
Almost back to my lowest low! It does sort of make me want to keep up the eating well and working out but I'm still sticking with the 2 week break for now. We shall see how it goes, and then maybe I can get into a proper 5 day/week, go hard for 5-15mins and see where that takes me.
Also, I started a thread for slow cooker recipes if anyone has suggestions
