I don't know where to start

I haven't been around for a few days. I have Irritable Bowel Syndrome and it has been playing up like billyo.I consider myself very lucky though. Some people have this as the norm so to just have it now and again makes me feel very fortunate
 
That's no good Polly. I hope that settles down. You don't have any food allergies, like many of us, do you?
 
Awwww nuts! I'm not aware of breaking any mirrors, but I am now down with a vicious tummy bug. All the kiddies in the area have had it but I'm the only adult!

No, Kate, no allergies I was tested and am boringly OK But itwas worth you asking. All help gratefully received.

I don't understand about posting pictures on this new forum View attachment 23447 I'm just trying something out....This is the hotel we will be staying at on our5 day break in Torquay and hopefully this will be the bedroomView attachment 23448 It's just a 'try out' and these piccies were the nearest. I think I'm cracking it.
 
It looks lovely Polly! I think when I added a photo it put it down the bottom somewhere, so I haven't tried since. I'll have to have another go :)
 
Wish you could all come with me. We leave on the 29th.It's only for5 days, but we are really looking forward to it.Mind you, it won't look much like the photo which was taken in high summer, but we don't care about the weather. We wrap up and are out and about in all weathers. It's an ill wind, I've lost 3lbs in as many days!
 
I certainly feel a lot better having cut out Coke Zero. I wonder exactly what was in it altogether.
 
I had a lovely surprise yesterday. As you know, we are going on holiday at the end of the month and although it is only a 5 day one, I've been excited as if it is a world cruise. The reason is that we had been carers for over 32 years and never had a real holiday. This is our first on our own. Yesterday, we had a day out in a nearby town, I thought it was just a day somewhere different BUT when we got to the shopping centre my husband said: 'There's the dress shops. There's the shoe shops, there's the craft shops... Hit them Poll and make up for lost time' I didn't need telling twice.
This morning my feet feel as if I have them is shoes 2 sizes smaller lol
 
Awesome! Torquay looks terrific. You two will have a great time. Congratulations on the weight loss and shopping spree.
 
That´s so sweet, Polly! You certainly deserve it, and lets´s face it: shopping is so much more fun when our bodies get closer to how we like to see them ;)
 
Oh Polly :beating: You do deserve to be treated to a long deserved spree & a holiday. What did you buy? :D

I don't know what's in it, but since I've cut out pop myself I feel amazingly better. I do like Coke Zero, but I honestly don't miss it right now. It's weird how you start to not miss it after you haven't had it in a while.
