It has been going well. It truly helps me to wind down and relax which of course is helping my anxiety/stress.
I also find that if I turn the TV off and put on music or my Joyce Meyer CD's (Teaching/Bible Study) while coloring, It is breaking down my insomnia!

Some of the books come with CD's/Music which is really cool! Working on a very detailed page at the moment which you can see.. That one will take a while! :)

Warm Up * Cardio Crush + ST- Level 1 (starting w/3 lb each dumbbells)* Cool Down = 30 minutes

Day 1 of Clean Eating is going well.
Dinner will be:
(Smart Protein 1)4oz of chicken (My Zesty Baked) I take a small bowl and add garlic powder, cumin, pepper, chili powder, 1/2 tsp. of low sodium taco seasoning, dried cilantro & onion powder. You then add enough extra virgin olive oil to make the mixture loose/soupy. Baste all of chicken with it and then Bake. (Smart Protein 2) 1/2 c. of pinto beans (Smart Fiber/Carb/Veg) Spinach & Romaine Salad with a few grape tomatoes, cucumbers and green onions with a homemade Vinegar & Oil Dressing. 1 Multi-Grain Whole Wheat Roll. 1 small Plum

My heel is doing fine so far.. I cannot tape my own foot, so I put on thick socks and then an ankle sock over that for more support/cushion.
I was of course wearing my walking shoes as well that have the plantar fasciitis gel pads in them.

I usually don't wear makeup... maaaaybe like once a week, but I LOVE youtube makeup tutorials! They amaze me! haha!

I don't wear foundation ever but I love seeing the contour and highlight on other women. I just haven't gotten into it. But it looks absolutely beautiful.

Warm Up * Cardio Crush + ST- Level 1 (starting w/3 lb each dumbbells)* Cool Down = 30 minutes

Didn't get to check in last night bc I was so busy after work out.. Had to finish the rest of cleaning, clean up and then start dinner - clean that up..lol
Plus had a long phone call w/my mom..

Time to get my fitness accomplished for today now.. Running late bc of another phone call with mom..
My brother (29) was admitted in the hospital yesterday and just arrived back home. He has CAH birth defect (no white blood cells) and he was vomiting due to a virus (very dangerous for them due to CAH..It can put their bodies in shock/coma/cause death. My 2 sissy's and bubba have it...) By the time he got to hospital, he passed out in ER and they started his cocktail IV (everything their bodies need; triple dose of their meds they take daily to act as white blood cells, sodium (they are salt losers as well), and everything to restore electrolytes/endocrine levels.
They have done so well in their late teens and adulthood..
Omigosh from babies to preteens we lived at Children's Medical Center of Dallas and they knew us by name! I cannot even tell you how many times they all almost died, were in comas and so forth. Just from a cold, virus or accident.. Their bodies cannot fight off stress, sickness or pain.. Even broken bones can kill them.

One sissy is 34 and my baby sis is 28...

Glad he is now home and restored! Thank ya Lord!

O wow, your family has some serious weight to carry! Modern medicine never ceases to amaze me, but I think we can all agree that it would be a lot more pleasant to not need it...

LaMaria: Exactly.
I didn't get it of course, but got OCD, ADHD and Anxiety Disorders.. lol
Bubba also has those as well bless his heart. His Anxiety is the worse bc he is always worried about his health...

LJ: lol! :D
Thanks so much! I wonder if that was what the doc was talking about? As soon as he mentioned $450 and insurance would not cover it, I changed the subject...lol... I will have to call and get the name bc I can't remember now.. lol...He said it would be great and comfortable. I think he said I would be able to wear shoes with it though... So maybe it is something that just fits on foot/heel.. I will call Monday. :)

**************
I will be leaving for the grocery store soon... Time ta stock up!

I weigh in once home. I know that sounds crazy.... Since we have opposite schedules from the norm due to hubby's hours, I cannot weigh in when I get up..Not accurate. I do a fast on weigh in day and always get accurate results.. Have checked this method out with scale at dr. office and matches home scale...lol... I'll check back later tonight to post weigh in.. :seeya:*Fingers Crossed!* I worked so hard this week and sure hope to see it on the scale!

Very pretty flowers!

I think growing up with siblings that don't have a functional immune system would make anyone OCD with cleaning. I'm glad your brother recovered quickly.

Exactly Q! I became a nervous wreck at age 9.....

Thanks! Love the flowers and CURSE the candy! *cries* lol.... must have willpower!!

Especially since my Weigh In is such a disappointment.

Weight In:
Lost 1 lb.

Good grief... I feel so dang cheated... I will check measurements tomorrow and see if maybe something came off there..?..

I worked so hard and worked really hard re: fitness... Such a let down. :(

Hello,
I'm new here. Trying to figure out where to go, what to do. Not sure if how forums work exactly. BTW, 1 pound is great. Congrats. Slow weight loss is the best way to do it. Are you losing inches as well? I noticed you are doing a biggest loser workout. How is that?

A pound is fine honey, especially when you´re just restarting exercise. Muscles hold on to more water when doing something unaccustomed. Just keep at it and it´ll go down. Take care!
