Thanks Quercus... :hug2:

Sadly, I'm pretty down right now and COMPLETELY Frustrated! I swear, It has hit me so hard I'm truly havin' to fight back tears. :(

Of course, freakin' tom had to arrive for weigh in day...*Screams* I'm still 190.0

I would have been so satisfied and calm if my measurements would have shown a loss!! NOTHING...

What do I have to do......STARVE myself??!! It has just ruined my whole day. :nopity:

I'm so SICK of bein' stuck on 190.0 .... 3 weeks in a row now!

********************************

Okay, now that my rant/pity party is over....What Can I DO About This?

Lack of Fitness is not to blame in my honest opinion...

It has to be Calories In.

My November Point System will now start TOMORROW, so I had to change things up for the extra week and make it more challenging as well.

My Point System I Made Up is to help inspire me reach several Mini Goals and Portion Control. My *Reward* at the end of month if I reach *Goal Points* is non-food related!
Example: Daily Points to be Earned: Prepare Lunch/Snacks for the next day - 6 pts. * 8 oz. of Water: 1 pt. each * NO Soda: 14 pts * Use Measuring Cups/Spoons/Food Scale: 3 pts. each * Exercise: 10 pts and so on... I need to Earn 290 pts at least by Nov. 30th. **Reward** $50 or Under Shopping Day...Where I struggle, I make a mini goal and give it points to earn if I can achieve it.

So anyway.... Even though I truly think I had a great week with eating - something has to be a muck...

End of Week 2:

Sunday - Power X-Train - 5 min. warm up * 15 min. metabolic circuit (Cardio Intervals/ST Intervals) with 3 lb each dumbbells * 5 min. cool down/stretches - 25 mins. Total

Monday - LS Belly Blasting 2 Fast Miles (Walking Aerobics) 30 mins.

Tuesday - Outdoor Walking at Park... 2.5 Miles Briskly w/inclines/hills

Wednesday - Power X-Train - 5 min. warm up * 25 min. power train circuit w/Dolvett (Cardio Intervals/ST Intervals) with 3 lb each dumbbells * 5 min. cool down/stretches - 35 mins. Total

Thursday - Scrub Cleaning (OCD) Very serious - heart pumping cleaning.. lol

Friday - Very proud of myself! Trying so hard to have a good weigh in tomorrow! Want that scale to move! I also take measurements tomorrow!

Work Out #1 - Leslie Sansone Belly Blasting Walking Aerobics: 1 mile 16 minutes - 10 mins. floor session w/3 lb. each dumbbells - Cool Down Walk + Stretches: 30 mins. Total

Work Out #2 - (just finished) Prevention Walking Aerobics * 1 Mile with 5 Body Shaping Intervals w/3 lb each dumbbells: 20 Minutes

Total: 50 minutes

Saturday: *Rest Day*

Hang on, hang on, you say Tom just arrived so why wonder about not losing weight? I used to go a kilo and a half up for my Tom visits, mere water weight which would leave in a day or four... You are, of course, fully allowed to change your plans but remember to stay kind to yourself. :grouphug: I hope you´ll feel better again soon!

TOM would explain all of the above Stacy. Hang in there. Perseverance will get you there. Your hard work will pay off. I used to really bloat with TOM & my weight used to go up about 2kg. I know it's frustrating but you will get there. How many calories do you have a day & what sort of diet do you eat on any typical day? I get really hungry when I exercise a lot & am inclined to eat way too much, so that's something I have to watch. Never give up sweetie. You'll be right xo Cate

Thanks so much Cate! :hug2:

My point system is very similar to Weight Watcher's..I'm taking a break from actual calorie counting...I have to be very careful due to my OCD.

I'm truly thinking I need to read up again on Low Carbing and go that route for a bit.

Snacks/Food/Supper very similar to South Beach.. No white anything.. Everything is "real" 100% whole grain/whole wheat including pasta when I use it, rice and so on.
Lean and Extra Lean Beef (ex lean is when I can afford the ridiculous price for it), Chicken/Eggs, Pork - lots of fresh veg and fruit... Love Yoplait Light Yogurt

My #1 NO-NO is trying to kick Soda.. I cannot stand any diet drink...I cannot use splenda, sweet n low anything like that.
When it comes to Sugar and Butter I will always use REAL and just watch the amount used.

When it comes to condiments I use Light Mayo and Low Sugar

Salad Dressings: Trying to find a homemade vinaigrette I actually like! Bottled Dressings are Original. I cannot stand Light/Fat Free.. I have tried them all.

I eat a lot of salad, so I have to measure dressing.

Milk is Skim..
Another issue! I'm a Milk/Cheese Nut! Gotta get better with those and limit!

Thanks for checking in everyone!

Today was a long day.... Errands, Grocery Store and so on.. Man, it was packed bc of the bad weather the past few days. Lines were long!

Got a busy Monday as well.. Gotta pick up hubby's meds at Walgreens, get car inspected and catch up on stuff at home. Plus, make time for working out.

:willy_nilly:

So far this Week:

Sunday - Grocery Store Day ... I really wanted to fit in work out but it just didn't happen. Hard Flooring/Concrete just does my left foot/heel in. I was at the store for the big visit as well..
2 1/2 hours and the lines were crazy. After the 3 days of heavy rain and flooding everyone was at the store! Not like I was sitting still with all that though...LOL.. Lots of walking around, loading car, unloading car and putting away...

Monday - Just Finished... Leslie Sansone 3 Miles with HIIT - Walking Aerobics: 48 Minutes! Heck Yes! :hurray:

Gotta hop in shower and start supper. Running a little behind due to the late afternoon errands.

Hubby will take the car I just had inspected to work tomorrow and I will have to take the other car to get inspected... lol

Have A Great Night Everyone! :seeya:

Stacey, I've been meaning to check out your diary for a couple weeks and finally go around to it. Your commitment to exercise is really inspiring. Can you tell me a little about the exercise vids that you use? Do you do them inside? Did you purchase them or are they online for free? I recently lost gym access and am currently trying to find a new form of cardio to do.

Hi Cory! *Welcome* ;)

Nice to meet ya!

I LOVE talkin' about Leslie Sansone! heehee

She has a great FB page and here is her official website as well. http://www.walkathome.com/

Above are her most current and my favorites! Most can be found at Super Wal*Mart & Target.. I also use amazon for the best price if I can't find it in stores.

I do them inside and just adore her. She is funny, sweet and such a great coach. She makes it fun. Walking Aerobics is no joke and you get a great work out!

Easy on joints and your body for those like me that have medical issues/old injuries. A lot of her work outs include a combo of cardio + strength training. Walk It Off In 30 (if you choose to use it as a 30 day fitness program), Starts day 1 with Burn 30 (they/I use 2 lb each hand weights) and then next day you do Firm 30 (ST/They/I use dumbbells) Repeat.

After a month of 3 lb each dumbbells, it was time to move up to the 6 lb. WOW! What a difference! :svengo: lol

Boy, I can already feel it and I did sweat more. :)

Supper will be ready soon & the house sure smells great! lol ..I have my crock pot dill chicken cooking.. So glad I'm done with all the extra errands! Both cars have been inspected and thank goodness this time we can register them on-line. I HATE going to the tax office.

Hope y'all are havin' a great night! :grouphug:

great consistency with your exercise, and well done going up a weight for your DBs.

Thanks so much Tru! :waving:

Finally made it round to your diary. You are kicking bootay with those work out vids, great job. And I feel you about the DMV. I just bought a new car and have to go have the title changed over to my name and registration and I'm not looking forward to the trip.

Thanks so much! :) I am determined to start seeing results and to change in general.

Glad you popped in! :waving:

Great work finishing your workout even though your body didn´t want to! You are so going to get to your goals :grouphug:

Since I posted on your high/low thread I figured I'd pop in here, too. I'm loving the point system, I might have to think of something like that for November! You're just full of great ideas.

Thanks! :seeya: ;) My point system is truly helping! It makes me THINK before I grab something.. It is making me accountable for every choice.

Weight loss failure will never overtake you if your determination to success is strong enough. So remain focused and motivated all the time & keep it up:jump::)

Man... I was so hoping to get the floor session in with dumbbells and other exercises, but the heart pumping work out caused tooth pain to get "worse."

I'm not sure if it's my sinuses (has caused pain in tooth/teeth before; no dental issues), or if it's an actual darn tooth?!?! :ack2:

My sinuses have been bad this week. I started Zrytec/Herbal Antibiotic Last night & Today. Not to mention ibuprofen! :willy_nilly:

If I wake up like this tomorrow, off to the dentist I go!!

Points not going too well today bc I have missed healthy snacks and have not had as much water so far. Just feel icky and don't want anything.

I can certainly tell my anxiety is up so I will meditate on scripture, pray and listen to music to keep myself calm, hopeful and to trust in the Lord.
HE is in control of my body & spirit. I lean on HIM in all things....health & sickness.... God is Good all the time * All the time God is Good.
