How do you start a diary?

Glad to see that you are still doing amazingly well. How much weight have you lost now and are many people starting to notice?
 
Hey Ecky!! Ummm I am not sure actually. Haven't stepped on a scale in awhile! Didn't want to get discouraged. But I feel better and my parents have noticed a change. People at school are oblivious b/c it's not like I wear really fitted clothes and also we're all so busy we could care less about each other's looks...lol.

Today was a great day! So funny today in class. Everybody was acting silly at the end of the day b/c we had been there way too long. Didn't go to the gym today b/c got out of class close to 5 and have test tomorrow so...I'll go the rest of the wk tho and I WILL take my time!
Eats:
cereal and milk
yogurt
usual lunch
snacks: same, 2 gum
dinner: bread, pb, feta, and plain sweet potato...love this when I have a test
salad
water and tea

had an extra fruit (pear), extra yogurt, and extra piece of gum b/c studying...will have to skip these things tomorrow! I better stay good tonight!!!

It's fun to carry on wearing baggy clothes so that nobody really notices and then when you have lost loads of weight wear something fitted and watch the reactions. That's what I did and people couldn't understand how I'd lost so much weight in what they thought was a couple of weeks.

Hey guys! Am happy b/c I took my test today buttt don't have to really make up for anything tomorrow! I can have my cereal in the morning! lol That's a good feeling. I did have a few more pieces of gum late last night and early in the morning, but if that took the place of more caloric things, then I'm ok w/ that. Also, I exercised a little longer today to help counter that. Will do abs tomorrow (please body)! Today was going great until after lunch. Got a test back from last week and it was awful! It's not fair! I might as well not have even studied for it. I wasn't the only one who thought that way...almost the entire class dislikes the teacher, but I wish they weren't so obvious about it b/c then that might influence the writing of her test questions and grading policy! Other than that, the other test we had today was great...After school, went to the gym and was glad I did. I always forget how great the gym is until after I finish a workout. Forgot my gym bag today, but luckily I had extra clothes in my backpack, so it worked out. Was a little self-conscious though b/c of my somewhat hairy legs...lol Need to shave!

snacks: 2 string cheese, 3 apples, not sure how many pieces of gum
dinner: some "kuku" and beef dish

water and lots and lots of tea (don't worry...unsweetened)...

Exercise: hr plus cardio, weights...tomorrow I will take my time! No committments (sp?) afterwards!
Do you guys like eating out? It seems like ppl in class are always dining out for lunch/dinner or whatever...either that or lean cuisine or something like that. Don't understand it! My family/friends and I go out to eat a maximum of 1x a week (sometimes we don't even meet that)! Think eating home cooked meals is a great investment. Can be expensive buying healthy food though. Saw an interesting article saying 1000 calories worth of healthy foods costs around $18, while 1000 calories of junk food costs about $1.76. 10 times as much! That's crazy! How unfortunate for all of us!!
 
You're a bit hard on yourself. Everybody deserves to and should eat breakfast and a bit of gum won't do you any harm.
I always tried to teach my kids that it is much better to be nice to the teachers as it makes the teachers much nicer to you. You seem very mature and together for you age. :) Have a great weekend.
 
Hey Ecky! Don't worry...don't really skip breakfast. I always have something in the morning. Sometimes I just have a smaller thing if I had cereal as a snack the night before...Thank you as usual though for your concern/friendliness! =)

So glad it's Friday!!! Aren't you? Had time to chill today and "beautify." lol Shaved? Check. Tweezed? Check. Cut Nails? Check. Shower? Check. Too bad didn't go out afterwards! lol =) Had a good day...classes were shorter today. Came home early and watched t.v. Then went to the gym and ate dinner w/ the fam. Will see my girlfriends from out of town tomorrow night! Looking forward to it! Did well eating wise today. Had extra yogurt and gum as usual though. Everything else was pretty much normal. Enjoyed spaghetti at dinner w/ lil eggplant and meat dish. Did usual cardio at gym and got to do my arm weights after a hiatus (been doing legs lately due to lack of time) and DID ABS! Need to do them more often, but it's so hard to do this and that plus that plus...Haven't been stretching lately either which is not good. Don't want to injure myself. Will have free time tomorrow though, so I should be able to get what I want accomplished at the gym. Wish I could freeze the weekends. Always pass by so fast and then back to the grind on Monday...oh well I suppose I would get bored if every day were like a Friday or Saturday (am probably lying to myself...I would love it!)! Hey guys! Well, will try to make this short. Late and am sleepy. Went to buffet place for dinner tonight. Had mussels, crab, shrimp (best part...was super spicy), lil fish, salad, rice noodles...hmmm think I covered everything. Got two plates but wasn't like overflowing...think I did decent. Feel full now but not like super uncomfortable or anything. Had fun w/ the girls. Earlier went to the gym and did my cardio and weights. My muscles were sore today! Usually don't get sore b/c am kinda used to the routine I do, but I made sure to stretch today after what seems like forever and it was so obvious I was tight. Will try to get back into my stretching routine...gotta keep up w/ the abs too. Well, gonna go to bed. Don't forget to adjust the clocks!!
 
Hey! Had a regular day. Was feeling weird earlier today though...just kind of out of it. So decided to go to the gym and felt better after listening to my music. Watched the news as well. Think sometimes that grounds me. B/c when I compare my "bad day" to others around the world, mine is like a joke. Usual eats today. Need to buy a variety of fruits b/c keep depending on the same ol ones. Dinner today: lil spaghetti, salmon, and some beef. Salad too. Decided to have the fish b/c my throat had that feeling u get before u get a cold...Feeling fine now though. Hope I don't get sick! Exercise today: hr cardio, weights, abs, stretches...Wanted to run today, but thought my body wasn't up for it. Tried to really focus when doing weights and abs. I find that the more I work the abs at the gym, the more I am able to isolate and use them in daily routine. So that's a perk I guess. Back to the books tomorrow...ugh. Have a good nite peeps!
 
Hey guys! Had a good day today (even for a Monday)...shock! Ha! Well, class started later today. Liked the fact that it was so bright in the morning w/ the clock change. After classes went to the gym. Going out of town Saturday so have to stay committed to my workouts this wk. Heard about a little drama today between some of my classmates. Some of them are so rude. Gosh, it's not high school any more! Anyway, came home and had a great dinner and now bout to study for my test tomorrow.

Exercise: did my usual cardio today and ran as well. Love the fun songs on my ipod I recently added ("Walk it Out," "Love like Woe," "Shake" - Jesse McCartney, "Bottoms Up," "Loca" - Shakira, "Only Girl in the World")...Some of them don't have the best lyrics but like the rhythm...

Hey everybody! Had a good day. This week our classes are shorter...yay! We took a test today, but it wasn't bad at all. Then had lunch, did little retail therapy (haven't been shopping in forever), and went to the gym. Tried to delay my going to the gym a little b/c usually when I finish my workout I eat dinner, and I didn't want to eat too early. My body was pretty tired today when I was starting the workout, and I really wanted to give up. Thankfully I had my good ole ipod friend and a soccer match was on tv! Cristiano Ronaldo was playing (don't know if y'all know him). He's so cute (am sure he has a big ego though)...Anyway it was fun watching the game and the minutes just passed by. Afterwards enjoyed dinner and now bout to do some school stuff.

Hey peeps!! Had a good day...short and sweet. Was late to class though this morning...have to leave the house earlier tomorrow! Am so slow in the morning!! Well, was so hungry today at lunchtime. Had to go buy stuff at the grocery store before I could eat lunch so didn't really space out my snacks today (had most of them with lunch b/c hungry). Was excited b/c I bought Triscuits today! I never buy crackers, but, being hungry (don't buy groceries when hungry lol), I roamed the aisles and found a box of crackers with 0 sugar and healthy ingredients. Will have it every now and then to serve as an alternative snack. Anyway, then went to the gym and now bout to do some work. Should probably shave again tomorrow...sigh being a girl is tough! =) Oh, read a cute line in a magazine. An actress was saying how her friend would call her "hangry" at times (hungry/angry...so true...you don't want to mess w/ me when I'm hungry lol)!! =)

Felt little bit more full today even after my workout. Could be either b/c ate lunch later than usual (b/c of errand) or b/c I had the crackers w/ lunch which gave me a higher fat intake today (counting the string cheese too). Interesting...

Exercise: hr cardio, weights, ABS (yay!), stretches...my body was less sore today! Glad! B/c still have to go to the gym 2 more days this wk before I leave town! Well, have a good nite everyone! :seeya:
 
You were full after your workout because of the Triscuts. But not because of the fat content. Because they are carbs (hopefulle whole grains). Whole grain carbs keep you fuller longer. Just a little FYI for ya :)

I totally understand the hangry thing hahahahahahahaha. When I'm hungry and I know I should be eating well but I really want to just eat bad. I get sooo angry and frustrated with everything and everyone. It's like "GET OUT OF MY WAY I WANT A BURGER!!!" soo funny.

You're absolutely right bout the carbs...know they have fat tho too but agree w/ you bout most of the energy coming from the carbs in it! lol bout the burger Adeon!! So I take it you're not a hot dog gal? lol =)

Had the triscuits again today, but I won't make a habit out of it! Dinner: 3 pieces of chicken, lil rice, 1 small beef patty followed by salad. Probably should have had less at dinner and could have skipped gum and yogurt today. Will try harder tomorrow!

Exercise: hr cardio (wanted to run...but was getting late so didn't), weights. Tomorrow I will add in running, abs, and stretches. Looking forward to tomorrow night! Party w/ peeps! And then wedding Saturday (not mine)! Peace!

I agree about when your iPod battery dies, I went for an hour walk yesterday and after 5 minutes mine was dead :( but at least the scenery was nice lol.

Hey Jess!! Thank ya madam! =) Hope to reach my goal soon, but losing the last few is hard!

After school, went to the gym. Will be leaving town tomorrow and am anxious about next wk! We have 5 tests next week and I''ll hardly have any time to study! Praying for divine intervention! Anyway, went out to eat tonight and went to a dancing party after. Still so shy. Other ppl move their hips, but I kinda stick to moving my feet. At least I go out there now though...that's a step. I've learned one thing though. The BEST dancers are the ones that fully commit to the move. It could be the silliest move in the world, but they make it look COOL by the amount of effort they put into it. I will eventually get there hopefully! This time last year at the exact same party I didn't even dance. So I'll take the awkward moving back and forth over the sitting down at the table watching others having fun! Still discouraging though. Will try not to dwell on it...

The burger was delish! Haven't had one in while! Yummmm! And never had sweet potato fries before so...I think it would be almost healthier to just bake the sweet potato and make little strips out of it with a knife and add salt as opposed to frying it or whatever. But they were good. Anyhow, did go to the gym today (hr cardio), and dancing also added to that. Am hoping to sleep soundly tonight and get enough studying done this weekend to survive the hell of next week! Bye guys!
 
Had so much fun at the wedding! Was truly awesome! And, guess what? I danced! This wasn't the same format as the other party (smaller space to dance and more people were doing it) so I felt more comfortable! I think if I danced 7 more days in a row, I'd get this anxiety thing covered! =) Anyway, had a great weekend but am feeling kinda panicky now. 2 Tests tomorrow and not confident w/ either! Why do teachers schedule tests on Mondays? Ugh! Anyway, did decent w/ the eats this weekend. Will have to be smart about it tonight. Don't think I'll be getting much sleep which will truly suck. Hope there's not a lot of critical thinking tomorrow! This sucks!!!! :eek::eek2::willy_nilly:
 
Omg!!! Am feeling much better now! Took my 2 tests and am still standing! lol ha ha Went to bed at 1 last night. Woke up at 6 to study and crammed! I hate learning stuff that way, but unfortunately that's what ends up happening. Anyway, skipped the gym. My body was lil confused today...gets like that when stressed...had bloated tummy and felt crappy = not normal self. But can breathe a lil tonight. Am so happy that I ate decently!! That was the true test...I was under a lot of pressure, but I was sensible...thank god! The only thing I have to make up for is an extra yogurt and couple of sticks of gum! =) My room is a mess right now. Probably will study a lil for one of my finals this wk and then clean the house some and hopefully crash early tonight! I sooo did not want to get up this morning, but I snuck my alarm clock further away from my bed last night so there was no way I could push snooze and oversleep...Well guys gotta go! Hope everybody's doing well. In hindsight, things are not as bad as they seem in the moment. We'll always, somehow, make it through...
 
Not only will you look better if you really go for it when you dance but you will get a good work out as well.

Man I was hungry today after school!! Came home and had dinner. Ate too much! Sucks that takes a while to feel full but then once you are done eating u feel it and are like oops...Anyway, skipped the yogurt all day but then came home and had some along w/ gum. lol Silly me. Body, I'll conquer u one of these days! Plan on going to the gym the rest of the wk. Praying to make it thru finals. But I've gotten 2 out of the way thus far.
