How do you start a diary?

First day back...had a headache today. Think it was from my lack of tea thruout the day. Took care of that when I got home! Well, the gym was a fail today. Came home thinking I would have a snack and step back out but you know how that goes!! It's funny how deep down you know yourself and how you'll behave but you delude yourself into thinking something else. Like today I was tempted to pack an extra snack for the gym but decided it'd be ok. Then I decided, like I said, to have something at home then go to the gym. Oh well. Today was just my skip day I guess. Eating wise, I did ok. My stomach is uncomfortably full though right now. Had extra yogurt and one extra snack. Hope the tea will help settle it! Will try to do decent tomorrow w/ the eats! And no skipping the gym! The people might miss me! lol =) Hope the weather is fine tomorrow, that I'm not too sleepy, and that I'm not late to school! Amen!
 
Hey! Well today wasn't bad school wise. Got out early and caught up on some fun reading. Then headed to the gym. And my ipod didn't work!!!! Absolutely hate when that happens! I was all geared up and ready to go on the treadmill and then bam "disappointment!" So I switched to the eliptical and did that along w/ the bike. Meanwhile I could hear some people babbling to one another about how much longer they had to work out for and how many calories they were burning and need less to say I missed my music! Anyway, then I came home and dinner made up for the crappy workout! lol We had leftover salmon and sweet potato. Yummm! I practically licked my plate! lol Taking it easy tonight since class starts later tomorrow.
Eats: warning: had lot of cheese today! lol
cereal and milk
yogurt
bread and cheese
snacks: 8 triscuits, 1 string cheese, 1 apple, 2 laughing cow cheese wedges, gum, gum, gum, gum (dumb gum!!)
dinner: fish and sweet potato
salad
lotta water (yay!) and lotta tea

Might go to an exercise class at the gym tomorrow...shall see. Have a good nite everyone! Hope I have music tomorrow! =)
 
Bad day eating wise! I was hungry so ate too much! My stomach is too full and am somewhat disappointed.
What to do:
1. Spread out food more throughout the day.
2. Don't come home after school. Go to the gym instead.
3. Don't give in to tempting things.
4. Eat a little less the next few days!!!!
...
Skipped the gym today which wasn't the best idea. It's ok...live and learn I guess.
 
Hello! Well still upset about yesterday. I did go to the gym today. But unfortunately my ipod failed to work again!! Darn! I always charge it, but its light never comes on anymore (no green light, no red light...nothing). Anyway after feeling frustrated I had no choice but to just deal with it. So I did the exercise, but it's not the same without it! =( My right side (lower back area) started hurting yesterday and was not any better today. Hope it goes away soon and is not serious!! Tomorrow is the last day at my "temporary" gym and then I'll go back to the old one. Not sure how I feel about that. Both have pros and cons. I mostly dislike how empty the original one becomes at times but I already paid for that one so I guess I have to stay there. School was fine today. Will catch up on my sleep this weekend fortunately. Family's doing well thankfully. Eating wise, it amazes me that I had my usual appetite today. Wish it were otherwise, but that's the way it is. Will just have to compensate for yesterday's mistakes with exercise I suppose and not repeat the problem. Don't want to lose my discipline. It would erase all the hard work I've put in and I feel happier and prettier now. So what would be the point of that? I felt bloated and guilty last night/today and realized I fed my eyes and soul yesterday instead of listening to my mind and stomach. Every experience is a chance to learn though so I'm not entirely disappointed. Hope to report good news in the coming days and weeks! =) Bye for now :piggy:!

Well gang, didn't post yesterday. Had a friend stay over. Did go to the gym yesterday as well as today though. Switched back to my regular gym. But...it's closed tomorrow! Ha ha! Funny how fate works...Anyway will try to keep up w/ the consistency...Eating wise, I did well yesterday and today. Enjoyed dinner tonight! Fish, rice, and part of a stew = yummm! Well gotta run off to bed...will write more later! =)
 
Hello! Today was a nice day! Happy Martin Luther King's Day! The gym was closed today so missed out on that. Have to remain faithful this wk! Eating wise I did well.
Eats:
cereal and milk
yogurt
usual lunch
snacks: 2 cheese wedges, 1 string cheese, 8 triscuits, lotta gum, 1 apple...need to get back to my old routine of more fruits!!
dinner: 2 pieces of chicken, few slices of "kuku" (were small)
salad
water and tea

School tomorrow...bright and early...yay (not really)!
 
Hi, I'm back from my holidays now so need to get back into a routine of exercise and healthy eating. I'm glad to see that you are still doing well. You're a bit hard on yourself sometimes as you are more consistently good than most of us :)

Well I survived today...lol. Was so sleepy this morning though...wanted to stay in bed! It helps organizing though the night before. I showed up earlier to school and wasn't as stressed in the morning. =)

bread, meat, spinach
snacks: 2 apples, 1 string cheese, 2 cheese wedges, 8 triscuits, gum!! (had an extra snack and 2 much gum...)
dinner: pork chops, lil "kuku"
salad
water and tea [had so much water today!!! =)]

Exercise: LOVE my music these days!! Did hr cardio, few weights, lil abs, stretches...

Well, gotta run! My books are scattered everywhere and need to print some things! G'nite! =)

Hello everyone! TGIF tomorrow!! Not that it was really a stressful week but still...Well, I did great w/ the workout today. Did the cardio, weights, abs, and stretches. Should have done a few more weights but guys were using the equipment and didn't want to go over there...
Eating wise...sigh. I ate a bit more than I should have at dinner. Also, had extra snacks today. It's ok though...not the end of the world certainly. Will try to make up for it somehow, either by eating less or working out longer tomorrow. I really think my sleeping late and waking up early has something to do with it...messes up the hormones. Good news: ran out of gum...I will NOT buy any from the store! They say the components of sugarless gum can cause cancer so hopefully that will motivate me to skip the gum (I know everything gives cancer huh lol)!
Progress?? Hmm...I think I'm doing ok. Could be working harder w/ the eats but I think I'm doing fine w/ the exercise. Will try to step it up (with the eats)! =) Keeping my fingers crossed!
 
I've never heard anything about gum giving you cancer but if you believe everything you read most enjoyable things are bad for you and then a year or two later they are suddenly good for you again!!!
 
Oh, but it's the sugarfree kind. They add more chemicals to those products than the regular kind. Kind of like diet coke versus regular coke. I'll just prefer to not have it, and that'll be a blessing in disguise (since I was getting addicted to it anyway).

Well gang...today was not bad. Went to the gym. Still got intimidated as usual. lol Cracks me up! Sigh.

dinner: lil rice, meat stew dish, lil bit of a sweet potato/onion/egg/salt/pepper mix i made...was all yummy but had too much of the meat thingy

Overall, I'm happy w/ how I'm doing with regard to exercise and eats. Now complete satisfaction w/ life? Still figuring that one out! Something tells me I'll still be pondering that on my deathbed (like everyone else)! Ha ha!

I hate it if my ipod doesn't work at the gym!!!! It makes such a difference working out to music. You really are doing great with your exercise :)
