How do you start a diary?

Completely agree Ecky! We shouldn't have too much tea b/c it can dehydrate the body (am working on it)! Will catch up w/ ya later tonight. Just wanted to make a quick post about yesterday b/c didn't get a chance.

had to have parents' milk again w/ cereal but bought mine at the store today so should be good...
yogurt (the yogurt I have is always homemade btw!) =)

dinner: 2 pieces of bread, 3 meat patties, lil salad
not enough water, lotta tea

Exercise: the gym was the best part! Watched t.v. again and this absolutely gorgeous guy was there 2! Don't worry I don't gawk at em...lol =p Enjoyed my music as well. Looking forward to going this afternoon! Bye guys!
 
Hey guys! Well, enjoyed the rest of the day. For some reason, going to work out has been easier the past few days. Like I actually really WANT to go...must be the cute peeps there! lol =p And my ipod has new songs on it!
Eats:

snacks: 2 string cheese, 3 small apples, gum (2 much)
dinner: was absolutely delish! was starting to get "hangry" tho! lol Maybe that's why it tasted so good when we finally ate! Had lil spaghetti w/ a beef and celery dish on the side, salad
water and tea

Exercise: hr cardio, weights...
A friend said I looked smaller! Feeling good! Take care peeps!

Yay for new songs on the iPod! I borrowed heaps of CD's from the local library and stocked mine last week. It's choice to have new music on :)

Today...hmmm...need to go out and do more stuff during the vacation!! Don't want to go back to school and regret not doing stuff! Went to gym as usual today...sadly it was pretty much empty. I get energized when ppl are there! More motivating and fun! Good news: I found a temporary gym I can use for the holidays when mine is closed! Yay!
Dinner: decided to have my bread, pb, feta, and sweet potato combo, salad
Otherwise, everything else was pretty much the same.
Glad tomorrow is Friday!! Going to see old friends! Hope everybody's been healthy! Adios! =p
 
Hey guys! Is super late! Gonna go rite off 2 bed after this. Ok, had a great day today! Went shopping w/ my mom and hung out w/ friends!! Super fun!!

snacks: 3 string cheese, 2 small apples, gum...(need to hide the gum ha)

dinner at restaurant: one hamburger (meat, lettuce, tomatoes, pickles...I like pickles now = excitement!)

Regretted having the whole burger afterwards. You know that point in the meal where you're still not full so you keep on going? And then later you're like oh crap should have stopped eating earlier when I wasn't full yet. Oh well. Live and learn. Had some tea to help w/ digestion. And it could have been worse I suppose. Need to skip yogurt tomorrow. Shouldn't have had 3 string cheese but wanted protein before going to the restaurant (ate late). The gum thing needs to be lessened too but somehow don't believe that will happen.

Exercise: hr cardio, weights, stretches...I'm on a roll this wk! Been going faithfully! Gotta keep it up!

Hey!! Had trouble falling asleep last nite. Been worried about family friends. They're in their teens and seems like there's so much peer pressure these days...u know? Sometimes I wish I didn't care so much, but it's hard not to. There's no way in hell I'm raising kids in this crazy world!!

On to brighter topics...lol

Exercise: Was wonderful today. Wanted to relieve tension so I decided to run on the treadmill. Watched soccer hunks (on t.v.) @ the same time! lol
Then did my usual cardio. Did weights, abs, and stretches. I should never again neglect my abs like I have in the past. When you don't do an abs routine, even after a workout, your core doesn't feel "warm" like the rest of your body (or at least in my experience it doesn't). I have really enjoyed the workouts lately. They make me feel so strong and appreciative of my body. I wish everyone could feel this at least once in their life b/c I have noticed that so many people view exercise negatively and always have excuses to not do it. Sure I don't always wake up and say "yay, I get to exercise today (actually I hardly ever do say that)!!!" But I usually try to do it anyway and am always glad that I did. I find it interesting how so many people come to the gym and do only weights. They're focusing on appearance in my opinion and not the cardiovascular rewards exercise offers. Anyway am not trying to look down on anyone's lifestyle. I just really feel that exercise should be a key component of life...not just for weight loss/maintenance/or whatever!! For the sake of your health! Just wanted to share and maybe I can look at this in the event that I get extremely sick of my music playlist in the distant future and need some inspiration! Ha ha! Cheers!
 
Hey! Well, I had more eats today than I usually do. Will try to work out longer tomorrow. Went to the gym today, and I think I jinxed myself the other day. Because it was harder...didn't help that the place was empty also. Just kept going and reminded myself that the place would be closed in a few days so I needed to make the most out of my sessions this wk. Sometimes it helps to just stare at your feet moving on the elliptical...kinda distracts you and you just get focused on "foot back, foot forward, foot back, foot forward..." Sleepy repetitive motion...Preferred it to depressing news stations today. It's like they never have anything positive to say! Ugh. Or it's just stupid crap on other channels. Anyway, will do better tomorrow w/ eats. Will try to space out snacks better b/c I usually use them up earlier in the day, and then it's harder at nite to avoid snacking again. Am still happy with my progress though! Ciao! :driving:
 
10 glass water daily minimum , one bread at breakfast and in noon eat your lunch and then in evening your ordinary meal and do exercise daily in morning.

Great day today. The weather was amazing. Went last minute shopping but didn't really get anything. I don't know...don't want to buy ppl stuff just b/c it's x-mas that is crappy anyway and that they won't use. Seems pointless. Like my mom knows I love her anyway and she doesn't need any more clutter. Just my opinion. Anyway, managed to get a guest pass at another gym since mine will be closed soon. Success! =) And I went to my regular gym today. Guess what? Zero activity there...it sucked. Literally no one was there! Ugh! Plus my ipod died in the beginning of the workout! lol But I just kept going and felt better afterwards. Bet most ppl are out of town or something. I just reminded myself that they'd be there for their new years resolutions lol and I was one step ahead! =) Went to a party tonite but ate beforehand b/c I was 2 hungry. Did well w/ the eats and did extra exercise today so I think I made up for yesterday. Feeling prettier these days. lol And on we march...:party:
 
Hey guys! Feeling content. Didn't get much accomplished today. Did decent w/ the eats. Went to gym. Really didn't feel like going today but figured I should considering the other gym will be closed 3 days this wk! It was more crowded today at my usual one...guess ppl were trying to squeeze in a workout prior to its closure for 2 freakin wks!

Am so proud of myself! It's starting to feel like my last year of college almost when I was taking great care of myself...Too motivated and too pleased w/ the way this is going to turn my back or stop trying!! =) :hurray:

Hey!! What a nice Christmas Eve! Spent it w/ family and friends. Had fun. Wish my brother could have been there...Didn't go to the gym of course (closed), but I walked a lot today while doing last minute shopping. Hopefully will manage to be active tomorrow and day after as well.

Hey! Enjoyed today. Was w/ the fam...had few friends over as well. No gym today either...but danced for a while in my room. It was fun! lol Mostly tried to do abs work while dancing. Wore a pedometer earlier today and had it on while I was dancing...it went up to like 6000 something from 770 ish after I was done dancing...weird. Thought it only picked up walking. Guess not. Anyway, gonna go to bed soon. Did well w/ the eats today. Had no gum today...Guess why?! I ran out of gum! lol That's a good thing though. =) Maybe I ought to prolong the whole gum buying venture...Enjoyed dinner...was yummy! Well, tomorrow things go back to normal till New Year's...Have a good nite peeps!
 
Hey guys! Not a bad day...Checked out some stores for Christmas sales and relaxed w/ family. There have been a whole lot of parties lately, and people are always offering food. Thankfully, lately, I've realized the proper way to handle this. If I don't want to substitute "x" person's snack/offering for my regular one, I pretend to take their offering and just don't eat it. I'm not talking about a meal or anything...just like lil snacks that people set out. I don't want to be rude or anything. The only problem is it makes me feel bad wasting food but I try to just put a little on my plate anyway to counteract that!! No one's noticed so far...they're too wrapped up in conversations and eating their own snacks...
Eats:
cereal
yogurt (2 times...got hungry)
sandwiches
snacks: 2 string cheese, tangerine, 8 triscuits, 2 small apples, gum [bought some today! =( ] had one extra snack today but will hopefully take care of that tomorrow

Sadly, no gym again today, but it'll be open tomorrow! Time to get moving! It makes no sense to me that at the same time of year when people eat more and go to all these holiday gatherings the fitness centers are closed!! Oh well...back to the routine tomorrow! Hope I don't look like a fool navigating the weights tomorrow (still not used to the layout of my "temporary" gym)!! lol Good nite!
 
Hey guys! Had a good day. Did go to the gym and enjoyed the environment there. So many people...it's so motivating! Did my hr cardio and a few weights. Felt silly in the weights section though b/c there were almost zero females there, and I felt out of place. Am I the only one to get intimidated? Like I usually appear serious when I work out and try not to have a lot of eye contact. Need to work on this!! Did few stretches too which felt awkward and then left. Would like to ask the trainers there for help on how to use the weights tomorrow.

It's funny you've not been having gum, and all of a sudden I've started! I only chew the sugarfree type though so surely it's not too bad?

If I don't post agin before, have a fantastic new years! Do you have any plans?

Hi soccerrox, I was going over the last page of your diary. You are doing good! I love dear Jerky, but haven't ate much deer meet, I did eat deer round steak once. I chew DB most all the time. I bought a big box at Walmarts the other day. So I will be blowing bubbles for a while. Gum keeps me from eating a lot of junk!

Keep up the good work!
