Here's my story

Alright my friends, I have decided as summer is coming to make a point on where I am right now and I think I'm going to start by updating this thread every day as I used to do last summer.

When I have stopped to diet ( Jan 2014 ) 6 months ago, I was at around 70 kg's ( 154 lbs ), which did not feel alright at all, for a reminder, I am 5"10 (180 cm).
Not only did I feel sick most of the time I was also going through some tough time in my life, I had also lost a lot of muscles mass which is due to the lack of protein intake during the diet I suppose.
For my birthday ( 20 may ), I got a bike and since then I have started to exercise a lot more again, I had pretty much stopped to exercise properly, So since then, I've been going for hours riding in the forest, in the village and I have slowly but surely started to redefining my silhouette, I have gained back some muscle mass and I now feel better.

For today, I went for a 7 hours ride bike, I have not weight myself, I'll wait tomorrow morning to step on the scale, but I must be at 75-75 kg's 165-167 lbs. I do not plan on losing any weight though, my new journey is a more a journey dedicated in getting in a good shape.

So, greetings to everyone! I hope everything is going fine for you!

Welcome back Benny! Riding a bike is great exercise. 7 hours is a really long ride! "Redefining my silhouette" is a great way to put it. I may start using that phrase.

Welcome back Benny. I hope life is better for you now. 70kgs was very light! I imagined myself back in France reading of your cycling. I would have drunk wine somewhere on the ride though :blush5: *sigh*...France....loved it! Great to have you back. Here's to getting very fit & redefining our silhouettes! Cheers Cate.

Thanks a lot my friends!

I'm at 77 kg (169 lbs) this morning.

For whoever might be interested, I decided to take a selfie, and it is not an excuse if I say I should have pulled that shirt out of my pants, I swear it makes me look a little bigger than I am !

Some of the scenery reminds me of Park de Gatineau they have beautiful trails for walking and hiking. Great job on the weight loss!!! It is wonderful that you are now working on your health!!!
