My smiley's aren't poppin' up either :-( and I use them so much! haha so now I'm making the smiley faces so they come up but not as images.

Great workout this morning! And nice food log too! I wish mine looked a little better :-/ I just can't seem to get a good food log anymore. I was looking at my logs from when I first started out and I was NOT eating this much!!!! I don't know why I can't eat just a little less... ugh.

I think our bodies naturally want to eat more when the weather turns cold... extra padding to keep us warm ;-)

EXTRA SPECIAL REPORT!!!

We had to eat out tonight d/t scheduling. I had wanted to make a picnic kind of meal, but Hubby decided we should have MD's. I honestly didn't want it, got there, still didn't want it so I ordered a Spicy Thai salad with crispy chicken... no dressing (it has a little sauce on it). Only 310cals and it was SO GOOD!!! I did have a few of the hubbies fries, but literally only a few :) I didn't feel like I was missing out or depriving myself at all. IT WAS AWESOME!! We didn't get home till after 8pm and I was quite hungry, so I had a lg glass of water, cup of green tea, and a cup of snap peas. I could definately raid my kitchen right about now, but only half hour till bed... I can make it!!

I was looking at my logs from when I first started out and I was NOT eating this much!!!! I don't know why I can't eat just a little less... ugh.

Probably because your working out more and harder. I know I feel like my body wants more food the weeks I work hard. It's a good thing!

Yes, a very HAPPY TURKEY DAY to all down in the States today!! I heard on the radio this morning that's it's National KD day in Canada... I think you guys get the better deal on this one ;-)


Sorry I didn't post yesterday, but it was just a blah day and I didn't want to put my neg attitude on here. My heart was still very happy, just my head was being stupid so I just tried to block it out... and it worked!! My husband was home sick, so I could have actually went to the gym, but I really wanted to do my kickboxing video so stayed home. The one I did was a 20min kicking workout... still having trouble sitting today ;-) I HAVE to remember that just b/c I'm not at the gym doesn't mean I'm not doing a killer workout, AND I STILL NEED TO STRETCH!!!!

I did really good for food, untill supper time. I was craving 'FOOD'!! But not just any food... really tasty, flavorful food. So I found an awesome recipie for a garlic chicken which was fabulous, but tried to make a mushroom gravy/sauce that just didn't work at all :-( I ate more than a handful of pistachio's before supper and 3 halloween candies after supper. There is some left over DQ cake in the freezer and it was all I could do not to eat it. Not snacking last night was probably the biggest inner battle I've had with myself yet. But again, I was trying very hard to ignore my head and listen to my heart... and won :-D

This morning I did NOT want to get out of bed... did NOT want to go to the gym but did both anyway. I am extremely sore from yesterday so I wasn't able to push quite as hard on the treadmill, but still did 3K in 30min - all intervals at different speeds and inclines. Did my full body weights, and really good stretch and then met the hubby for a quick coffee before going back to the parenting thing ;-)

Food has been good today:
B - homeade oatmeal muffin (w/ the pumpkin and banana puree), green tea
S - mandrin orange, lg coffee w/ cream from Timmy's :)
L - sm garlic ckn breast from last night on half ww kiaser bun w/ mayo

I think we're having fish tonight, although they said on the radio this morning that's it's national KD day. As long as my kids and husband don't hear that we'll be safe ;-)
 
What I'd like to know is how on earth could you pass up that DQ cake?!!? Ohhhh yummm!!!! Good job though :) You probably woulda felt pretty crappy goin' to bed that night.. not just cause you would feel bad about it but because it probably woulda gave you a killer tummy ache!!

Way to stick with the workouts! You're doing great :) and good luck with your weigh in... I hope the scale is nice to you! No reason that it shouldn't be... you've been doing AWESOME lately!!!

I was wondering where you were yesterday morning, I missed your post, but glad to hear you are doing good! I got my book in the mail yesterday and started reading it last night. I was so tired though and only got through a couple pages. I think it will help me with my pointless snacking in the evenings because I will try to go to bed an hour earlier to read. I'm pretty excited about it.
Awesome job on the workouts! I know what you mean about being so sore and not being able to push as hard - that was me yesterday too and even this morning it still hurts to walk. I'm going to my weigh-in in a couple hours so hopefully we will be celebrating together! I love it that you still have Halloween candy left and aren't tempted to eat it all the time. If I had that in my house I would constantly think about it. Good for you - keep it up Marie. Chat soon.

Thighs: 24" ----------------- Thighs: 24" = :-(
Arms: 13" ----------------- Arms: 12" -1"


I am very happy with these numbers (other than the thighs, but they'll come)

I KNEW you could do it!!! :-D Now we both have to keep eachother in line this week so we can keep under 140 and can't forget we have a goal for December 11th still :) 2 weeks away... 137-139.. well we got the 139 down... I think if we did REALLY good we could both get to 137 by then no problem :p

That is so exciting and look at those measurements! That is huge! Your waist is so tiny! Good work Marie! I think we are on a good roll and can keep it strong until the holidays. Thanks girls :) It does feel so good!! I went christmas party dress shopping tonight. Didn't buy anything but tried on a HOT, tight red dress that I NEVER would have tried before... and it looked FREAKIN GOOD!!! I didn't get it b/c it was NOT appropriate for the managers wife ;-)

Exercise for today was really good. Shovelled the driveway TWICE :p, 25min/6.5miles on the bike w/ max weight circuit; and 1.5hrs dance rehearsal.

Have a wonderful date night with the hubby tonight. We went to the Keg. I ate the bread with the whipped butter, bacon wrapped scallions and salmon in a spicy thai glace w/ asperagus, mushrooms and sweet potato fries (with dip). It was a $100 bill and there was NO way I was going to feel guilty about anything... It was SO GOOD!!!

My Motivation for the Next 2 Week!!

Just thought I would share my motivation for the Dec 11 goal. Found my christmas party dress this morning. I would say this is some serious motivation for my 2 week goal. The party is Dec. 12!!!

WOW Marie you are smokin! You look so great! All I can say is you have one lucky husband lol. Keep it up, you can do it!
