Yes, a very HAPPY TURKEY DAY to all down in the States today!! I heard on the radio this morning that's it's National KD day in Canada... I think you guys get the better deal on this one ;-)
Sorry I didn't post yesterday, but it was just a blah day and I didn't want to put my neg attitude on here. My heart was still very happy, just my head was being stupid so I just tried to block it out... and it worked!! My husband was home sick, so I could have actually went to the gym, but I really wanted to do my kickboxing video so stayed home. The one I did was a 20min kicking workout... still having trouble sitting today ;-) I HAVE to remember that just b/c I'm not at the gym doesn't mean I'm not doing a killer workout, AND I STILL NEED TO STRETCH!!!!
I did really good for food, untill supper time. I was craving 'FOOD'!! But not just any food... really tasty, flavorful food. So I found an awesome recipie for a garlic chicken which was fabulous, but tried to make a mushroom gravy/sauce that just didn't work at all :-( I ate more than a handful of pistachio's before supper and 3 halloween candies after supper. There is some left over DQ cake in the freezer and it was all I could do not to eat it. Not snacking last night was probably the biggest inner battle I've had with myself yet. But again, I was trying very hard to ignore my head and listen to my heart... and won :-D
This morning I did NOT want to get out of bed... did NOT want to go to the gym but did both anyway. I am extremely sore from yesterday so I wasn't able to push quite as hard on the treadmill, but still did 3K in 30min - all intervals at different speeds and inclines. Did my full body weights, and really good stretch and then met the hubby for a quick coffee before going back to the parenting thing ;-)
Food has been good today:
B - homeade oatmeal muffin (w/ the pumpkin and banana puree), green tea
S - mandrin orange, lg coffee w/ cream from Timmy's

L - sm garlic ckn breast from last night on half ww kiaser bun w/ mayo
I think we're having fish tonight, although they said on the radio this morning that's it's national KD day. As long as my kids and husband don't hear that we'll be safe ;-)
