i feel totally unmotivated to work out today. ugh.


kinda just wanna sleep..... but i know ill regret not going to the gym.

also... been super hungry today. i had special K at breakfast as normal, a luna meal bar for lunch......

then the snacking started.... cottage cheese, 100 cal popcorn bag, peanuts.



and im still hungry.


HELP whats the problem here .... its 4:30....
 
This is probably the last thing you are in the mood to hear...but..if you will do any exercise that raises your body temp for at least 20 minutes...It kills food urges. It is also helpful to stop nicotine urges for those who are trying to quit the cigs. Just do enough to break a sweat and the food urges will get way weaer...for a while anyway.

Sometimes I think our bodies just need a refeed and want more, LOL...I have days like that were all I wanna do is eat, just make sure ya eat healthy and it should balance out ok.

Good job on your measurements adn I LOVE your diary title:D:D:D!!!

Thank you for the posts. Last night i did end up going to the gym. I ran 20 minutes on the treadmill and then did some weights for my arms...... skipped crunches today... didnt have it in me! lol

I did go out with some people from work to have a drink. I def sipped my coors light and actually left 1/4 of it in the glass because by then it was icky warm!!!! only my 3rd alcoholic beverage since January so thats pretty good i suppose.

I had a mediteranian salad ( some wierd dandelion lettuce, red peppers, soy nuts, cucumbers, no meat) and dressing on the side. Also was craving some french onion soup. WOW. so SALTY!!!!! yikes... bet that added a good 5 lbs with water retention!!!



I feel alright today.... but to be perfectly honest- yesterday and today i have been in the FOULEST MOOD. i dont know why.... i have felt awesome lately working out and been so super pumped. Right now... i feel lazy, unmotivated, and grumpy.

Maybe because i havent seen HUGE leaps and bounds.... my patience i think is wearing thin..... this is the longest i stuck with anything ( yes i know its only a month)
 
Hey Melissa, Im Cerella not sure if |I mentioned that before but ya know babe you cant always see results and our bodies do go threw burn out...plus in the beginning it comes off easier:):hug2:

Well last evening i took a night off. It was much needed and i am glad i did because i am feeling MUCH better today. AS part of my night off, my boyfriend and i went out to Chili's for dunner and i had chicken, mushroom, jack fajitas. YUMMMM- they were very very tastey!!!!


Today i had my first "unhealthy snack" which consisted of ice cream cake for a baby shower. i only hate half of it and enjoyed every moment of it because i am certainly not getting in the habit of it! I did not eat the shower snacks like chips, bugles, and beef barBQ. I had my asparagus spears and light wheat bread with ham and musturd.

i was proud of that!!!!


I am going to the gym tonight so hopefully it will be a good work out! i am excited to get back out there so this should be nice.


can i just say though..... THANK GOD ITS THE WEEKEND!!! Holy hell.... it was a tough one emotionally and physically. i just was blah this week!!!


Good news is i went to the doctor and got my "invasion of privacy exam" out of the way for the year. They weighed me AND....... The gym scale is right in line with theirs!!! I was so scared i wasnt going to show up as heavier on their scale hehe.


Also...... this is health related i guess??? LADIES ONLY: ( or men who know)

any of you on the nuvaring? my doctor wants to put me on that.... thoughts???

sm set back....

Had a small set back this weekend. I was exhausted... unmotivated... and feeling down. Had some bad foods...... drank some beers..... but today is monday... new month, new week, new day. Im back on a roll!



ugh..... dont even want to see how much i gained back!!!! :(
 
Here we go!!!!!

Hello all! Had a wonderful work out last night at the gym. Did about 50 minutes of cardio and I did about 20 minutes crunches and abdominal work. Weighed myself when i got there. On my way to the gym i kept trying to reason with myself about how much weight i most liekly gained back over those 4 rough days. I reasoned no more than 2 lbs.

I LOST 6 ounces LOL!!!!! :party:

That was such a relief. I think that really encouraged me and now i am super excited to have a good week!!! I just need to learn my body and the signs of when it needs to rest... or more food.....


i think that causes my set backs because sometimes i dont pay attention to it at all or see signs of me getting ready to relapse.

Into every plan a few beers must come. Dont worry about that call it a sanity break and head for the gym. Better yet one little mind game I do is to pay in advance for a little splurge by extra exercise. Just a thought.
 
i feel you on the rest. i realize that the reason i only lost 1 pound was due to lack of rest. from this month on i only plan on hitting the gym 6 days instead of 7, so i can rest comfortably. good to have you back on here and thanks for being a fan of mine! i really appreciate it.
 
This morning i did my measurements with my coworkers. Overall it was a positive outcome. I lost an inch in my butt and a 1/4 inch in my stomache, chest, and calves.


Last night i did not work out.... today... its on :)

So.... i went to the gym last night and like a dummy weighed myself... even though i knew i had my period and felt bloated.

thats normal though right? i mean i didnt gain 2 lbs over night..... i didnt pig out!!!!!!

ugh. i should not have done that... im totally bummed. ive been staying strong at 145.... and it said 147 :(

anyways... made a yummy protein shake last night at home. 1/2 cup strawberries, 1 cup light soy milk, 1 scoop of whey protein powder.



it was wonderful! ( surprisingly). had it for dinner... good stuff! My concern is, the guy at work was like... uh... u trying to get huge or something... thats what i drank to bulk up....



its not creatin though... just 26g protein per scoop.


THOUGHTS ON THIS????

ALSO- i did 60 MINUTES OF CARDIO LAST NIGHT!!!! WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Alright! So yesterday went to the gym. I am feeling ok today. I weighed myself and not only was i back down to 145...... i had lost TWO MORE POUNDS!!!!!

I am at 143 which is now up to a 10 lb lost!!! WOW. This is a huge accomplishment for me ... i think thats the lightest ive been in 2 years! Very exciting!!! Wouldnt have been able to get that far without all the encouragement on this site though! You guys are incredible!!!:coolgleamA:



Anyhow, I have found a new found love for Luna bars... they are great for lunch at work when i am running around and cant stop to eat something decent.... so taste like butt... others are acceptable. None are truely hateful though.

Thank you for the input on the protein powder for those of you i heard from.... i am starting to feel i have lost my fan base as well!!!! lol.
