down another pound whoot!

Good Morning everyone! Thank you angelicahope for the details on the challenge. i will need to spend lunch time doing research and catching up!!! I think that i am already behind and the challenge just started!!! lol:dupe:

Well guys... good news!! I lost another pound! I was so excited last night when i weighed myself and i was down to 145!!! Thats 8 pounds lost so far and i am so pumped!
My work out last night consisted of 40 minutes on the treadmill running the majority of the time and then brisk walking. I then did my normal crunches/sidebends routine and then leg weights. My problem areas are my love handles and thighs... so that was my focus last night. I feel amazing. 8 lbs is hardly anything i guess.......

but alot of it is mental and to know you are progressing toward your goal i guess makes you feel super sexy rawrrrr!:smilielol5:


for dinner after the gym i had a small baked potato with parkay 0 cal 0fat spray, pepper, and a bit of garlic salt. I also had a can of asparagus spears and two slices of 30 cal ham.


it tasted like heaven believe it or not!!! :)
 
ohhh you have me craving asparagus *_*

mmmm what exactly does your sidebend/crunch routine have in it??? =P
i need to get into the strength training boat as well. haha.

Looks like you are into your second good week...Good. Lots of really great people on here who will encourage you! Also you dont have far to go. You can bust out those 20-25lbs in no time. This forum has really helped me. I am almost at 50 lbs down from my heaviest point. I still have like 40-50 more but its gonna happen!
I share a little formula with my friends on here and it is so true. Here it is:
Activity leads to results leads to satisfaction leads to activity.It is soooo true and you are about to see some results if you hang with it.

well, first i do forward bends and side bends on each side holding a 10 lb. weight. its standing at an incline with the weight on my chest. I bend forward over a padded stand. ( most gyms have them you prolly know what i am referring to)

then i will do the following each time im at the gym. you can work abs EVERYDAY.. those muscles heal fast according to a few personal trainers who work at my gym.

25 crunches with legs bent
25 crunches with feet on floor
20 crunches laying on right side20 crunches laying on left

exercise ball between feet, hands under butt. lift legs up... lower to floor lift again. 10 reps. take a break.
10 more reps of ball between legs.

25 regular crunches.


THEN I AM DONE.:cuss::cuss::cuss::banghead:
feels nice though after and i am seeing a small difference along the way!!!

Are you serious?!? 8 pounds is anything but hardly anything! its 8 pounds! that means you manage be in a deficit of 28000 calories! Give yourself more credit! that is 8 pounds less of you hanging around than you wanted, and that is nothing to scoff at. keep up the good work, we're all rooting for you here. and don't sell your success short!

i think once i hit the 130's maybe i will finally feel that im doing well.... ive seen 145 before.... well last time i tried this... so once i hit 139..... im gonna be estatic i *think*

I just got back from lunch with the boys .... two had a chicken cheese steak with extra bacon added... fries, soda. One had lasagna with meat sauce and a creamy peper soup.


I held strong!!!! I had a chicken caesar salad with no croutons, grilled chicken, and the dressing was on the side... but i actually only dipped in it maybe 5 times the whole meal... and very lightly.

it was pretty good though.... a bit bland.. but good
 
yeah i eat my Chicken Caesar salads with no dressing, but it doesn't bother me. i get my flavor from the chicken, its like a wrap unwrapped! then again i can drink unsweetened tea no problem too, so my comments may be void..

well well well.


had a good night at the gym. Here is what i did:
20 minutes treadmill, 30 minutes cybex machine- 500 calories burned.
crunches/sidebends routine
quick circut round.

Didnt go tooooo terribly hard tonight. the second i got on the treadmill i realized i was pooped! I just finished dinner. It consisted of whole wheat bread, sm bit of miricle whip, spinich, and 2 slices of low fat ham slices. I also had a can of greenbeans and 1.5 pretzal rods.
DRANK SOOOOOO MUCH water today!!! oh my word! didnt realize our plastic cups at work are 16oz! i kept two at my desk all day and each time i had to pee i refilled them. i figured it out and i drank 144oz of water today. WOW.


Also-

I made friends with the one guy who works at the gym. Let me just tell you that i got my roster for the month of febrauary thus far... i have worked out 18 out of 24 days!!!!!!:party:

I will be posting my daily food log on the challange site... but figured id give a little update. im exhausted now!!!! im ready for bed! hehe

I am not quite to 50 yet...4 to go but man Im gonna celebrate when I get there! What is working for me is simple..1800 calories per day and a lot of working out. I have exercised something like 54 out of the last 60 days. (now Im gonna have to check my log and see what it actually is) With the 1800 I dont deny myself a certian food like no carbs or things like that. If I want a certain thing I can have it but it counts. Also I have not had any (I mean none) fast food since Dec. The drive thru window was a really really bad place for me in the past.
You are kickin butt on the workouts I bet you are feelin in better shape

I'm gonna assume the head bang is because when losing chest inches, there goes the boobage? If so, I'm terrified to even measure there, I happen to be fond of my boobs and don't want them dissapearing!

yep... i need the keep as much of my boobs as i can!!! lol. not like i have a huge over abundance or anything!!!! hehe
 
i am going to post this in both diaries, so bear with me. i go to the gym in the morning. I've this this year about putting me fist, so its the first thing i do before anything else in the day. by going between 5-6 am, it solidifies my statement. the good thing is i get to come back home sleep for another hour or two before my day really starts. the workout doesn't bother me one bit also the sleeps allows my body to burn just a little more than if i were awake.

i have only gone to the gym in the evening a couple times, and my mind is not in the game after work. i go in the morning for a boost for my day. also its EXTREMELY crowded during the evening!
