Heidi!! 1000 calories is too low!!! Keep up with what you are doing!! Don't worry about the family reunion. There are always healthy choices on a menu and all you need to do is stick with them! :)
 
I guess I will stay with the 1200 cals... I am axious to finish loosing the weight... but slow and healthy is the way. Thank you so much for your input!! With out your encouragement I would have definately cut it down even lower.

I am down to 134. 14 pounds to go. I had a cheat day today, and back on the wagon tomorrow! 3 weeks without really cheating, I thought was good! But we went to a gun show and I had a chocolate turtle... homemade... Goodness it was good, hand dipped chocolate, with pecans, and carmel...oooohhhhhhhhh...

Resume diet!

Great job on losing a lb!!! yay!! Glad that you aren't going to cut your calories back and further!
 
I woke up energized to follow my weight loss plan today.

I had a cup of Cheerio's for breakfast with a little milk and 20 oz of H20 For lunch I had a small can of tuna mixed with less then a teaspoon of mayo, wrapped in two large lettuce leaves, and H20. It wasnt too bad. I am omitting bread, and going to try to keep my carbs down. I did atkins about a year ago, and got down to 125 but gained back. But then I was doing less then 20 carbs a day, and not getting my cals in and not exercising. I will have a snack after my walk, and then I plan on having cubed steak and a large salad. And then an apple before bed. Should be around 1200 cals today.

Also I have decided not to weigh myself twice a week anymore since I have lost the 10 pounds for Aug Challenge. Saturday morning is my only weigh in for the week. We will be at the State Park this coming Saturday, so I will weigh in on Friday morning this week only.

It sounds like you are doing great! I don't follow Atkins (or any) food plan, but I totally hear ya about giving up the bread on sandwiches! I never want to devote 140+ calories to a sponge, when I can eat tuna out of a bowl ;)

Keep it up girl, you're almost half way to your goal!
 
Monday I stayed within my 1200 cals, and walked a total of 3 miles, 100 squats, and 50 cruches!! whoohooo...

Tuesday was right in at 1200 cals, and I am so tired tonight, I didnt walk. I did go to the grocery store, and helped my daughter with her homework, and by this time it is 8:30. I am whiped. I plan on getting up at 5 and walking 2 miles and then walking 2 miles when I get home from work.

Thanks hf, and m2m,.. you two are the biggest inspiration on this board!!
 
Hey Heidi!! Great job on walking yesterday! You are awesome! Good luck getting your walk in tomorrow! Must be hard to get your exercise in when you have kids and other stuff going on. The only reason I get to walk so much is because I have no obligations! :) Keep up the great work! You are almost to your goal!! yay!!

Welp...I didnt get up this morning and walk... but today I did walk 1 mile, and jogged 1 mile. This is my first time jogging and oh did my ankles and calves burn!!!!! Did 50 crunches and 100 squats.

Came in around 1000 cals.

I couldnt resist and weighed myself. Not lost anything... but my clothes are fitting so much better. Still would like to see the scale go down.

AND THANKS FOR ALL YOUR SUPPORT!!!!!!!!
 
No time to exersice today!... Getting ready for the 4 day family reunion, with my husband's side of the family. My daughter is very excited about going to the state park and staying in the Inn.

After work I have been on the run getting stuff together, and ate some leftovers from yesterday. Still had about 1100 cals today.

Over the week end we will be swimming, hiking, walking... I will be getting plenty of exercise in.

OOOHHHHH.. and I stopped at my mother in laws house tonight and she said "Have you lost weight, you look really thin"... hehehehehe!!!!!!!WHoohoo.

Be back on Monday afternoon!
 
Have fun at the family reunion! It sounds so like sooo much fun!! :) YAY for your mother in law saying you look thin!! That's awesome!! :):)
 
Back from the reunion! It was an okay time. My daughter took a friend (9 years old) and we took my 15 year old step daughter (she has CP). I definately had a work out taking care of her and keeping the two girls busy!

We ate in the dining room in the Inn for the evening meals and it was BUFFET! So, I went off my diet...... :( But I ate realllly good! I probably hiked about 8 miles total this weekend, up hills, down hills, on rocks, went caving at night...went to a Pioneer Village.

So I weighed myself this morning and I am still at 134! No gain, no loss... I am pretty happy with that considering I PIGGED OUT! Sooo good to be home though.
 
I am taking today off from walking. My legs are so sore from the weekend.

Today, I didnt make very good desicions in eating. Didnt have breakfast. Had lunch at 2 PM, 2 slices of cheese pizza. :(

For dinner, I have homemade cabbage rolls in the crockpot. First time making them! Mix together 2 # Ground sirloin, 1 c diced onion, 1 lg egg, salt and pepper, formed into balls and placed in blanched cabbage leaves, rolled up, covered with a can of tomato soup, can of diced tomatoes with a 1/2 tsp of cinnimon. Slow cooked on low for 9 hours. I hope they turn out.:p

I have lost 11 pounds total in a month's time...14 more pounds to go. My goal is loosing 2 pounds a week. Right now I am wearing a size 10. Really hope to be in a size 7 before the thanksgiving holiday.
 
A 2 pound a week weight loss plan is very achievable!
Keep it up and you'll reach your goal!
