Hello Heidi :) I hope you benefit from your Y pass. Good move on upping your cals especially on workout days. It would be a shame to run out of steam during a workout, yanno ??

I can't speak from experience but when you workout don't get all freaked up from muscle weight gain - I suppose this could happen, right ?? I would imagine a strong 132 beats a weak 128 anyday - just thinking out loud here.

Wow, I fall off the wagon for a week and the site is all changed up!

Today is a restart after a crappy weekend!

8:00, yogurt, water 100
10:00 granola bar, water, 130
12:30 1.5 c of chicken and sausage jamabalia (brown rice, okra, onion, greenpeppers, tomato, garlic sausage and chicken breast - yum) appx. water 400
2:00 small orange, water, 80
6:00 1/2 hamburge w/ 1/2 bun, baked potato with a sprink of cheese and tsp of sour cream, water, 550
8:30, 1 slice double fiber bread, 1 boiled egg, water, 170

Cals - 1430
Water - 3 L +

Exercise-
Walked 3 miles in 45 minutes on the track
10 minutes on the stair machine
10 minutes on the eliptical
30 reps on this arm thing that you pull down with 50 pounds
30 reps on the other arm thing that you push in from the side with 10 pounds

I think the Y pass is going to be worth it... but geez is it packed in the evenings.

Exersice - 1 1/2 hrs at the Y
Walked the track for 10 minutes
Treadmill at 5% incline at 4.0 mph for 35 minutes
Did 30 reps on 3 different arm machines
4 minutes on the row machine (didnt care for that much)
Stair machine for 15 minutes
Walked another 10 minutes on the track

8:00 I had a bowl of oatmeal but I accidentally dumped it in my work bag.. ugh... so after I cleaned up that mess... south beach granola bar, water, 140
11:30, jambalia (Thank god it is all gone now!), water, 400

30 reps on the arm pull down thing

I am babysitting my nephew tonight so cant go work out. Its been a bad week... I had to employees quit :(

It has been almost a year to date since I posted in this diary. Here we go again :) I have been just eating what ever I wanted and not exercising.. Well, today that changes. I weighed in this morning at 143.8. I hope to loose 20 pounds by the end of May. I am going to go to the Y before work for about 45 minutes, and then try to walk in the evenings if I dont have to work to late. I am going to do weight watchers. I have access to all the books, and I am suppose to have 20 points per day with 36 flex through the week. Ready, set go...
 
Since my last post in Feb I have done nothing! I had gotten the flu really bad and it affected my respiratory. To boot, I have been eating out all the time and no excersice. I cannot keep doing this to myself. The guilt, sadness, and frustration that I feel right now. Weighing in on Monday April 7, 2008 at 151, higher then I have been over the last 12 months.

I am rededicating myself to this lifestyle change. I want to be thin, I want to feel good about myself. I want to be the attractive and happy person that my husband married.

So here I go again. I am seriously going to do it this time. It is strange because as long as I posted on this message board I stayed motivated, and actually reached my 125 goal weight.

I started exercising again on Friday. I actually moved furnture and cleaned for 7 hours straight and man was I sore. Yesterday I went to the YMCA and worked out for an hour. I have been conscience of what I am putting into my face too! This is my promise to myself, no eating out, except one day a week a six inch sub from subway as a reward for following my regemin.

I want to do this so bad. I know I can do it again with the support of this board. Everyone here is such an inspiration, it must have been where I absorbed by strength and will power from.

aaawww - of course you can do it!And you will, you will refind that drive and motivation and you will do it - Welcome back and sorry you have been sick...

For me it was gettin a new job...It totally threw off track and it was a big change in what I was doing and it totally exhausted me...and over the 4 months I gained back abt 15 - 20 lbs - lol...it sucks...

Im glad to see you back - Welcome back!!!
 
Hit the Y again, watching what I am eating. 10 days later weighing in at 145. Woot Woot. I lost 6 pounds in 10 days. I owe that to the eliptical, the treadmill, and healthy eating. The magic of weight loss. It feels so good to be on track again. I know I can keep this up.

I have sorta been keeping calories. I counted calories so much before I pretty much know how many are in most things I eat. I am averaging about 1500 cals a day. Focusing on fresh fruits and veggies, salads.

weighed in this morning nat 143! I wont way myself again until next monday because of it being that time of the month this week, should start in a few days. I push mowed yesterday and went to the Y on Saturday. I did eat a few no nos, like a piece of cheese cake. Went to the grocery yesterday and bought healthy stuff to take my lunch to work, since no eating out!

120 by August. 28 pounds.

Today is a new start date.

Calorie counting worked before, so I am going to do that and exercise.
