Heidi's diary

Welp.. I put something in the crock pot to cook for several hours. Hopefully it comes out good. I took a venison roast and cut it into chunks. Floured it and browned it on all sides in the skillet. Put three cups of water with beef stew seasoning, along with chunks of fresh potatos, onions, carrots, and celery. Cooked on low in my new Cuisinart Slowcooker. Venison is suppose to be much healthier then beef. I can eat the ground venison in chili and meatloaf... hopefully this tastes okay. And the bright side.. I dont have to cook tomorrow.

If anyone has any other venison recipes that they would like to share with me.. please post em!
 
mmmmm, I can't wait to make my annual venison chili with beans and wagonwheels !! well I might skip the wagonwheels this year - second thought, nah.

dammit girl, you got my taste buds kickin' now !!
 
T2- I would like your recipe for that chili!!! I am such a theif when it comes to recipe's. Cause I am a really bad cook.

M2M- It was actually pretty good! It cooked for 12 hours, and the meat just fell apart. To be honest, with the seasonings and the long cook time, it could have passed for beef. My daughter didnt even notice the difference!!

Exercise, 2 mile walk, 50 squats, 50 torso twists, 50 toe touches, 50 over head reach things, and light house work... along with a 8.5 hour work day :)
 
I have just been reading your diary and it looks like you are doing very well. You must be fairly short to get down to 120 and not be(is there such a thing?) too skinny! Good luck!!
 
Do you hunt rabbit too ??

I got a killer recipe for rabbit with:

Sage
Worchestershire Sauce
Raisins
Thyme
Rosemary

Pretty darn healthy too ;)

oh yeah, it works great for squirrel also

I am short! 5' 4" on a Tall day!! The first year of my marriage and before I weighed 105 pounds, I could eat ANYTHING and not gain. Then I got pregnant, and my weight has fluctuated from 170 - 125 pounds for the past 9 years. My goal is a size 7! Right now at 134 I am in a size 10. I would be comfortable with 125, but would really like to be 120. I just hope I keep a round ass, and what boobs I have. *crosses fingers* hehe.

My husband hasnt gotten into hunting squirrel or rabbit. My grandpa used to make squirrel dumplings all the time, and my other grandpa raised rabbits to eat. Tastes like chicken. heheheheh
 
Weighed in this morning and lost 1 pound. Down to 133. I hope to loose 2 pounds next week. I need to see what I can do different this week to make it happen!
 
Thanks Ya'all! The support is wonderful and is definately keeping me motivated. I am almost half way there.

I had to go to a meeting yesterday. I wonder why I feel so self conscience about myself when I am around people thinner then I am. Weird.
