Hajni's Diary: I will do it because I can

Did great today. I didn't go to work until like 10 am so I went to the park, ran 3.5 miles.
Kept to my calories. Happy to report that going back into calorie counting is now a breeze, the website I am using still has all my info. Weird I am very hungry in the morning but by around 2pm I am fine and I don't even feel like eating for the rest of the day.

Very busy again at work but it is good busy, not the stressful kind.

Tomorrow I don't have to be at work until 9am so I am going to work out in the morning again.
 
haven't posted for a while.
Fell off the wagon once again just to jump back on about two weeks ago.
Weight was up to 150 and it scarred me a bit.
I am now back down to 146 and keeping up with it.

Joined a different gym with a lot more equipment about 2 weeks ago. Set up an exercise schedule with a trainer: upper body, lower body, cardio.
It is kicking my butt. Now just realizing just how weak my upper body is. Lots of work ahead of me.
Eating is right on target.

Probably won't post much just keep up with it on my own. Have my own little challenge going. My birtday is in the middle of Sept, by then I want to be down to 142 or so.
 
Good luck on reaching your goal by your birthday. I have a goal to get down to 225 by the time cameron turns one.. which is proving to be a challenge as i keep bouncing around. anyways keep going and you'll reach it. i've never seen you not reach your goal when you have the determination to do it.
 
Well....it's now the Middle of September and I may be early..but I just wanted to wish you a HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!!!! :party: ...Come back...update us a bit!!! :iagree:!!
 
Thank you for a birthday wish!!!

HMM where do I start. Long story short, weight is up : 156. Went home visiting my parents-relatives in Hungary and yeah, I ate like a little pig I am. Gained 10 lbs. Ouch. Oh well, I expected it and I promised myself not to say no to any food that I liked.
So back in the wagon once again. Started immediately the day after my return, this Thursday. Counting calories and exercising. Today was my mother in law's birthday and I did very good. Brought my own dinner (oatmeal) and my own dessert (fage yogurt with cherry pie filling). Kept with my calories and didn't touch the chocolate mousse cake.
So figure about another 6 weeks or so to lose this 10 lbs and we will see. All my other attempts to go below 143-144 or so always failed which doesn't mean it will again....:)
 
Doing pretty good for the first week. Also started a new job this week which makes the weight loss easier. I have so many other things to concentrate on than my hunger!!
Kept with my calories all week, exercised 5 times.
Tomorrow is weigh in for me, I already feel it in my clothes (nothing huge, but a difference).

Figure by Christmas I will be at my goal weight.
 
wtg for the first week.. i'm starting my changes today as a fresh start.. i'm cutting out pop and all sugary stuff and fast food again. I am gonna try to cook tomorrow meals for the whole day and possibly more then that.. we will see with 2 little boys running my house its hard to do anything.

The first week weigh-in ended up with a slight disappointment, 0.6 lb lost.. BUT it didn't deter me from keeping on track and doing what I set out to do...

I am trying out a new gym which is closer to my work (2 min away) this week. I went today to a sculpting class and just about died. It was an hour class cardio/strenght combined and after the first 15 min I felt like giving up. I did the class, my legs feel like jello.
Tomorrow's weigh in will be great I already know. (peeked at the scale today).
I will reach my goal by Christmas.
Already thinking about figuring out my menu for Thanksgiving so I will stay within my calories.
 
I didn't exercise today. I overdid yesterday in the gym so just walking today was pure torture. My legs are so stiff but I am going tomorrow to do some work-out.
Kept on track with food, so everything is good there.
 
Used the elliptical today for 45 min in my basement. My legs still hurt like crazy but I am determined to go back to the gym and do another sculpting class tomorrow. We'll see.
Keeping track with food, it is actually pretty easy. I have my food planned for the day and nothing deters me from the list. I feel that my stomach is empty but I don't feel hunger.
Going out tonight to a bar with hubby and his friends. I don't drink and I won't eat anything, so I will keep on track.
By Christmas week I should reach 145 which is my mini-goal for now. The 135 is more like a wish if anything....
 
Congrats Hajni on the great weigh in. I weighed myself this am too and had a good weigh in after only a week back at this.. so i'm excited.. i hope this keeps up.. we will see.. i plan on working out 5 days a week either at home or at the gym as hubby and i re-activated our gym membership cause as much i do at home we both agree that maybe working out in a gym is good for me as i have more to push me there. I set up a meeting with a trainer too so on the 30th will be my first workout with him.. cant wait.. haha i already met him this past friday and he's gonna work me hard and get me in shape and lose this weight.

Going over to my in-laws soon, have my food portioned out, I even made a pumpkin pie based on a hungry girl recipe.
If everything goes right, I will be under 150 tomorrow and in the 140's. Can't wait.
I am on schedule with the loss, averaging about 1.8 lb/week, that is my best if I really put my mind to it.
Going to the basement to exercise another 1 hr on my elliptical...
 
Good work getting back on track and sticking with it! I'm sure you will be down to 145 by Christmas just keep it up and stay consistent! I am hoping to be in the 140's tomorrow too! I have never been so it's pretty exciting! Happy thanksgiving!

I had a number in mind and I stepped on the scale and saw that number!!!!

149.6

really happy!! got 4 more weeks till Christmas and about another 6 lbs or so to go.
If I can keep this up, I will definetely reach my 144 goal by then.
