Hajni's Diary: I will do it because I can

Saturday here.

I skipped exercising yesterday, took it as a rest day, I actually made it to the gym, started to work out my arms for about 5 minutes and I felt so tired I just left and came home. One day a week is rest day anyway. :)

Still kept on track with calories so I am good. Have some water bloating going on, so I am not sure what my weight will be on Monday.

I just came home from the gym, 25 min in the circuit training and then 30 min on the elliptical. Feeling good, food is planned for the day.

I need to clean my car later. No plans for tomorrow yet except a 3 mile run in the park in the morning.

I didn't visit anyone's diaries for the challenge, I feel bad. Not much of a supporter I am .

Gotta run as always.

Sunday:
Made a nice breakfast, invited BIL over too. Had eggbeaters with broccoli, veggie bacon and grapes.
Just came back from a 45 min run, about 3.5 miles or so.

So far so good in the challenge, exercised 6 days this week, kept on track with the calories. One week is almost done.

Tomorrow is gym after work, my food is already planned out all the way till Thursd.

Hubby and I are going to watch a movie soon, all the household chores are done.

ooh what movie are you watching?!
ahhh i cant wait to be able to run 3 miles.
how long did it take you to work up to it?!

Wow your staying on top of this challenge!! I've been slacking a lot.. And I think it's a good idea to take one day off a week so your body has a chance to rest!!

Good luck to your 2nd week challenge.
It's really great that you have been to this site for so long....
It means you have never gave it up! Don't give up this time too... and you will lose tons and tons of weight! =D

Weigh-in day!! Drumroll please : 149.8

I didn't think I was going to make it under 150, but I am so happy!! Just the motivation I needed to keep on going strong!!!

We are supposed to have lots of snow today so I am not sure I am going to make the gym, but I will exercise either way.
Food is planned for the day, I am ready to go!!

140's here I come!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hajni

PS : the movie we watched was Superbad.

Woohoo... Wtg hajni

Below 150 is been the one thing you have been aiming for since I met you when i first started on this site. so Party... of course with all healthy yummy treats and tons of water.. lol I miss chatting with you but as you know i got a ton of stuff on my plate. as due you. talk to you soon. hugs. :hurray:

Thanks Ladies!!!

Everything went according to plan yesterday!! Got home, did 45 min on the elliptical, stuck to my food menu, drank a ton of water!!

Clothes are definetely fitting me better now (I am starting to lose the stuffed turkey look) but there is a way to go.

I am working out like crazy and I took measurements last Monday and this Monday. Nothing changed except my legs lost 1 inch each!!? Seems like a lot for only one week. Is that even possible? maybe my starting measurements were off.

Tonight is gym night, circuit-training and maybe some bike. Food is planned for the day, 1300 calories.

In the past few months I noticed that if my calorie intake stays about 1600-1700 cals a day and I work out like 3 times a week, I am only maintaining. No loss or gain. So I know I have to cut my calories to 1300 and exercise like a banshee just get results.

Sounds like you're doing great Hajni!

I just don't understand why we have to eat so little and workout so hard to make any progress at all! ugh... I just dread it. ;)

I know what you mean, but I also know that we are able to do it if we keep the goal in mind. There is an end to this and that what keeps me going.

I went to the gym last night, 30 min strenght, 30 min bike. Got home late and had to get up 5.30 am this morning because i am going through another audit. I will stay as long as I have to today just to get it over with.
I kept on track with food, I am doing quite well. If I have any energy today I will jump on my treadmill if not, I will call it a rest day for this week.
Weight is holding steady at 150.2. Up 0.4 lbs, maybe because of salt maybe because my body is still going through some hormonal issues, I am not sure.

UGH i hear that, LOL...I use to exercise like crazy only way I can get results but I also use to eat more than I do now...Then I thought great once I cut my eating in pretty much half, no prob I will loose on diet alone wrong again, LOL

I need to eat like I am eating now and exercise like a mad woman then Im lucky enough to see results it is crazzzy...But what can one do, I WANT THIS and you do too!! [/COLOR]

It seems like all we get to do is eat small amounts of food and still have to work our asses off to just see some movement whether it be on the scales or in the way our clothes fit us. It sucks really bad. But at least we know there is a light at the end of the tunnel.

Yep, I agree. I eat 1300 calories, and sweat 1 hr a day just to see a loss anywhere between 1-2 lbs/week. It doesn't help that I have a desk job, I don't get to move around at all during the day, so the only exercise I get is at the gym or at home in my basement.
That makes me think of my turbo jam DVD. I have not done it for so long, I should dust it off and try it this weekend. Switch things up a bit.
I am really motivated and already planning how I am going to fit exercise into my weekend. It seems to be jammed but if I have to get up early Sunday just to be able to do 45 min on my elliptical, I will do so.

I ended up taking a rest day today. The audit went well, but once I got back to my work-place things got beyond hectic. I got home late and just had dinner.

I am doing very well into the second week!! No cheating, no binging and keeping on track. Hoping to have a loss but not so worried about the scale, I can already feel it in my clothes.

Well, the scale decided to be the enemy this week. It is going up not down!! Now it is at 150.4 this morning. Oh well.

Plan to hit the gym tonight after work. Still have to figure out my food for tomorrow.
Saturday I am just going to do house-hold chores and Sunday we might go up to Albany with hubby on a "date". We'll see.

gotta run.
Hajni

Had a great work-out!! I switched it up a little bit. I did the body slide for 5 min to get my heart rate going ,then I did some arm exercises on the machines, then ran 1 miles on the treadmill then hit the elliptical on an interval, level 6 for 30 min. At about 20 min on the elliptical I thought my heart will leave my chest but I pushed through it.
Came home, had dinner which was cereal tonight (love cereals) and now almost ready for bed.

I am not going to look at the stupid scale until Monday, I promised myself. It is not going to stop in my tracks when I am doing so well.

I don't really have a choice much in the matter as i did at home but i kinda wish i had a scale i would have had access although I think its good that i don't have the scale showing me how much i have lost though. i'm going to go find out about a gym or something i can use while the boys are sleeping.

That's the attitude Hajni! Don't be a prisoner of the scale- you are doing your body good, no matter what numbers you see.
