:grouphug: Hey there skinny minny!,
Your are kicking butt everytime I come in here your ticker seems to be heading the direction.I wanted to thank you for stopping
by when I was down in the dumps!I hope you have a gr8 day and keep doing what your doing,Tammy:party:

HI Kim, Tammy and Rimay thanks for visiting..

So I fit into my size 6 yesterday. The last time I wore a size 6 when I was like 148 lbs. Well, on my tighs it is loose, on my middle-section it is very tight... sigh.... It seems no matter how much weight I have lost, my love handles and my stomach (which still looks like I am about 5 mo pregnant) is going to stay... it would probably go away if I was super-skinny like 120 lbs which I have no desire to be... so I am just going to live with the love handles and the tummy...
DH does not understand that you can't do spot-reduction. He thinks my weight is fine, but I could stand to lose from my middle-section... I can't make him understand that crunches and such will do no good in losing from my stomach and the only way is to have a chance in reducing the love handle area is to keep going losing weight.. but he does not want me to do that. Men are such stubborns... he is convinced if I did 150 crunches a day I would have flat stomach in no time..:cuss:
Ok, rant is over.

Work is keeping me pretty busy at this time of the year, but I will try to pop in here for more than just updating my food and exercise journal.

I KNOW WHAT YOUR TALKING ABOUT!! I've had this conversation with my H a billion times. I've toned up in a big way over the past few months, and I'm losing crazy inches all over the place, however my mid section just below the belly button is not doing a thing, and I tried that AB ROLLER like every night for two months, it was a killer, it helped me in the waist area, but my little bump tummy is sticking around for good I'm afraid. Oh well, such is life, I'm still happy with the rest of my body so far. I'm sure you look fantastic, and I doubt you look 4 months pregnant, after all this weight you have lost, there is NO WAY!! I'm sure you look FAB!!:seeya:

Keep up the GREAT WORK!!!! MISS FAB!!!!!!!!!!!
hugs
Kim

oh, and the stupid scale showed 143.4 today...:smash:

Ha Ha Ha -loved that pounding the scale!!!

I know you are stopping withthe weight loss for hubby...is it something you really wanna do ? Like I mean you can still watch what you eqat and such and just cut down exercising a bit so you have more time...or is it kinda a mutual decision ? I do believe you are at a good weight:)

I'm the opposite--can't get my ass and thighs into a size 6 (size 8), but it hangs off my midsection :( Tell the hubby to start reading!! Keep on truckin', you're doing great!

Nov. 28th (wed). (24 days left)

Hello Kim, Cinderelly, Valerie...

A lady in a gym today suggested to do like 50 reverse curls a day that helped her middle section to be more toned. So ok, I am figuring it can't hurt so I will do some of those... maybe even tonight.
I am tired now, I gave everything I got in the gym today, working out for over an hour. Elliptical, running and circuit training...
Food was good, my mood is good, life is good what else to wish for right? :seeya:
Breakfast: 1 pita pocket (60), 1 banana (110), 1/2 c. cottage cheese (80) , 1/2 tsp cinnamon (6),5 tbs ff whip cream (37) 1 coffee (50) = 343
Snack: 1 ww English muffin (100), 1 tbs better n p.butter (50), 1 tbs sgf jelly (10) =160

Snack: 1 small apple (80), 1 Kellogs Special K bar (90) = 170
Dinner: Turnip Caserole (150), 1 Quorn chicken (80), 1 ff yogurt (45) = 275

Hello Hajani,
Ok what exactly is a reverse curl?I need to do a bunch to help
with all sections lol.OMG you said a freaking "6" holy crap that is so awesomely small :drool5: can't wait to see single digit #'s..Your workouts totally blow my mind and I have been opushinh myself more to,seems like thars the way to get results.Have a gr8 night,Tammy

Man Hajni... if the way to a super flat ab section is doing like 150 crunchs a day and like 50 reverse curls count me in.. lol cause i wanna get rid of this subborn belly.. if i had a flat tummy... boy would dh love that.. not to mention me too.. cause it would mean i would feel more confident then i do now in the bedroom... haha although dh can't complain about that area.. tmi sorry.. i know.

anyways... keep up the great work and don't worry about the hubby.. men don't realize that even if we lose a ton of weight the last place its going to come from is our thighs and tummy area as we are programmed body wise to keep more fat around those areas of our body so that when we are preggo or are in our child-bearing years the baby can take the nutrients from those areas first..

anyways.. hope to keep in contact with you even once your not on this active journey anymore..

It is a mutual decision. I never had a desire to be super thin and he doesn't want me to be either (phew, what a relief...:smilielol5:). I agree with you, I will watch what I eat but no more calorie counting beyond Christmas, I should have good sense by now about what is enough... :). That alone will save me lot of time. No more pre-planning my food for a week in advance, and definetely reducing my exercises. I will continue exercising because it is healthy and I enjoy it. My plan is to hit the gym twice a week for my basic training class and run at home for two more days... no more food diary, no more exercise diary and giving up updating my spreadsheet... Just to be in maintainance... between 140-145. I feel it is a good weight for me and I am happy where I am. About the belly fat and my love handle, well I just have to live with it. It is a lot better than it was... LOL
My problem is I can't "take it easy". I either give everything I got ( that's why my countdown is) or I am concentrating on something else. So it will be a clear-cut on Dec. 22nd

Hey Haj~
Wanted to pop on over and tell you thank you so much for remembering that I was having surgery and stopping by to wish me good luck. :Angel_anim:
Everything went really well. Stop by the diary to read the whole story.
Sounds to me like your doing just fine. I would so love to have only a small pooch in the front and a bit of love handles on the side. As it is now I am the one who is looking 4-5 months preggers not YOU! I saw the pics you posted in October and you looked FABULOUS!!!
Just keep in mind where you have come from and how far you have come. Cuz' that is a major accomplishment my friend!
And don't worry about the scale so much. We both know that it jumps all over the place.
Just keep your chin up.
Your doing GREAT!!!

Thanks Bella, I am going over to check out your diary and I am glad everything is ok.
with clothes on it is not that bad... and I like to wear clothes that hides the pouch.... but trust me nekkid is a different story... LOL. I am going to stop worrying about it, no sense.

Okay so you started at 200lbs??? How long has it taken you to get to 140's??? just curious, because that's where I started at just 200 or a pound or two over and I want to get down to 155-160, and it seems we workout similar and both eat good, so just wondering how it worked for you?

HI Kim,
Started immedietly after my DD was born in 2005 July. Not with the same routine as now, did not count calories and my exercise was an occasional walk here and there. A year later 2006 Sept. (turned 30,) I was still 185 which made me pretty sad, mad and depressed. So I really started concentrating (or so I thought..) went to the gym 5 times a week but did not do much adjustment to my food... so managed to get down to 166 by 2007 Apr, then went on vacation and gained 9 lbs back.... and restarted the journey in June 2007. So I was 174 in June and 142 now, 32 lbs in 6 months. I did not lose the weight quick but i was not determined or focused until the middle of this year. I bet it will be a lot quicker for you!!
Now that I know what works, hopefully after the 2nd baby I won't have much to loose and even that will go quick...

32 pounds in 6 months is awesome!! That's really good!! I lost the first 15 pounds lickity split, like in 2 months, then I plateau for about a month to 6 weeks, then I lost another 3-4 pounds and plateau again for another month, I just about at 30 pounds now and it has taken me nearly 8 months, HOLY SMOKES! I was always told that the more muscle you put on the faster you will burn calories, I'm still waiting for that to happen, I've lost a lot of inches and my double chin is now gone, but still the pounds on the scale are only dropping a pound every couple weeks, it's frustrating!! It could be worse, I could be gaining a pound ever few weeks, so I'll just be happy that it's going down when it does decide to move. LOL LOL what time do you stop eating at night???
