Thanks Jen. I know I can always count on my friends here to knock some sense into me when I feel like giving up.
Anyway, I stayed strong today and did not hop on the scale, so my mood is good. Did 30 min walk/jog on my treadmill this morning and planning to do some after I get home. It seems there will be schedule changes this week as hubby works about 2 hrs away and with the bad weather we are having he is not able to pick up DD from the babysitter which means, no gym for me... or very late gym which I am not so sure about. If he gets home around 5.30 even if I am out the door at the same minute I wouldn't get home till 7.30-8.00 and it is late. We'll see.
We are getting a tree this weekend hopefully on Sat and will decorate on Sun or so.. I am exited... this will be the first year where my DD is participating... can't wait.
Christmas is coming up quick. We will have it at MIL's house as usual. The night before hubby and I take turns bringing the presents over and putting it under her tree... We usually take hours to open presents because we are slow and we uh an ah over everybody's present and wait to open everything. This is fun.

Glad to hear not hear that grandpa is okay.
I seem to be falling into a not wanting to workout rut myself. For me though I am pretty sure it has more to do with the weather and the fact that it is cold out and the last thing I want to be is cold. Which is silly cuz' if I just worked out I would be hot, hot, hot from working out. Silly I know.
Just try to get some extra time in on your treadmill this week with dh working the longer hours.
And have fun with the tree trimming.
As a piece of advice in that area:
When our kids were that age we gave them there own ornament to "play" with. They could take that one on/off the tree all they wanted. And cuz' of that they never touched the others. We still have the ornament............ a little M & M guy that came on top of one of those big plastic candy canes full of what else but M & M's!!!LOL

YAY on locking up that scale until weigh in day
it does temd to play a major part on how you feel that day
and thats maybe why I have been doing good latley cuz it has
been going down but the 1 time it shows a gain or no change I
tend to have the "WTF don't care today attitude!
Look at your daily log ins you are doing EVERYTHING right and the
healthy way,so my only thought is muscle gain or TOM??? I heard when you really start getting into good shape you gain muscle and your workout routines I wouldn't be suprised at all that all it is ,is muscle!Like Yaramiah said you are a breath away from your BIG GOAL!!Stay strong quit worrying your doing awesome!Tammy:seeya:

Thank you Jen, you are such a great friend and also an inspiration for me!!! I am glad my rumblings on here helped you!!! That's part of why I did not give up yet, although there were times when I felt I just want to stop..I always got so much encouragement I didn't want to let you all down if I just "dropped out".
Ha-ha, my ticker was exactly at where yours is (166) when I joined this forum in July.... You will see, you will be at your goal weight before you know it!! And it is an awesome feeling..
When I go looking at clothing I still look at the XL's and have to remind myself that it would be too big... it did not really sink in yet.
I don't feel "skinny"... but when I actually look at a pair of jeans that I just took off it looks so small compare to my "regular" clothes... and I am like "wow I fit in that?" it is awesome and words can't describe how it makes me feel. Like I am on top of the world!!!
Keep chugging along.... it is all worth it

Ok, today was nothing new. Did my morning exercise, 30 min on the treadmill this morning with all the intention of working out some more at night. That never happened. I got home and there was way too many things to do, so I will just go to the gym tomorrrow to make up for it.
food was ok, but I felt hungry after dinner. I didn't eat anything but feel hungry..
Breakfast: 2 wasa bread (60) (2), 1 tbs better n p. butter (50) (2), 1 tbs honey (64), 1 tbs wheat germ ( 25) (2), 1 c ff milk (90) (9) ,1 coffee (50) = 339
Snack: ½c cottage cheese (80) (14), 4 tbs ff whip cream (30), 1 tbs wheat germ(25) (2) = 135
Lunch: Sausage, peppers and onions: 2 veggie hot dog links (90) (18), 1 green peppers (32), ½ red onion (21), 1 tomato (25), 1 veggie burger (80) (12) seasonings, 1 pita bread (60) (6)1 ff yogurt (60) (5) = 308
Snack: 2 ww bread (70) (4), 1 tbs hummus (25) (1.5), ½ yellow pepper (16),1 diet hot chocolate (25) (2)=111
Dinner: English muffin pizza : 1 ww English muffin (100) (5), ¼ c. shredded ff cheese (45) (9), 2 tbs ff cottage cheese (26) (6), 2 tbs tomato sauce (16), 1 c. steamed veggies (50) (2)= 237
Dessert: ½ mango (67), ½ c. milk (45) (4.5), 1 yogurt (60) (5)=172

Total calories for the day : 1367 + 50 (supplements) = 1417
108 gr protein

I did not have time last time to post this. I got impatient and went clothes shopping. Originally I only wanted boots for myself and DD but got overwhelmed by the great sale on sweaters and pants... so I tried like 50 of them on:ack2: and bought two pairs of dress pants, two sweaters and some panties. Now get this. I am wearing a size 6 in pants ( I finally confirmed my size last night, I tried on size 8 and they were all too big) but the intimates are size 7/8 :ack2::ack2: :smash:
Anyway, had a great day, hubby is wrapping up the presents for Christmas... saved him some time and headaches. I never go clothes shopping... i am lazy plus it doesn't mean much to me, but was in the mood last night.
Of course I did not exercise, so I have to call it a rest day.
Breakfast: 1 c. ff milk (90) (9), 1 1/4 c. All bran cereal (150) (4.5), 1/2 c. cottage cheese (80) (14), 1 tbs jelly (10) 1 tbs wheat germ, (25) (2), 1 coffee (50)= 405

Snack: 1 kiwi (46), 1 ff vanilla yogurt(60) (5) = 106
Dinner: egg salad :2 hard boiled eggs (150) (12), 1 tbs nayonnaise (10), mustard, salt, pepper, 2 ww bread (70) (4), ) =230
Night snack:
½ mango (67), ½ c. milk (45) (4.5), 1 yogurt (60) (5)=172

Total calories for the day : 1353+ 15= 1368
Exercise.:. none.
 
Oh, couldn't resist and took a peek at the scale this morning. So far so good!!! hopefully stays this way till Sat....

Big disappointment today. Hubby is working so far away, he doesn't get home in time for me to get to my class in the gym.:(
I still went later but missed my boot-camp class, and it really made me sad, I enjoy it so much. On top of it hubby will be working at this location for months... OH NO.. I have to come up with a solution.
anyway apart from this the day went just fine. Eating was right on target and I am glad I got to concentrate on my protein a little more this week.
Breakfast: 2 vitatops muffins (200) (6), 3 tbs jelly (30), 1 c. ff milk (90) (9) 1 coffee (50) = 370
Snack: 1 ff yogurt (60) (5), 5 melba toast (60) (2) = 120
Lunch: LC Frozen dinner (300) (9), lettuce, tomatoes , peppers (35), 1 diet hot chocolate (25) (2) = 375
Snack: ¼ c. TVP (80)(12), 1 ff yogurt (60) (5), sweetener = 140
Dinner: 1 pita pocket (60) (6), 1 banana (110) (1), 1/2 c. cottage cheese (80) (14) , 1/2 tsp cinnamon (6),5 tbs ff whip cream (37), ¼ c. protein powder (82) (15) =375
Dessert: 1 jello (10) = 10

Total calories for the day : 1375
86 gr protein
Exercise.:. 28 min walk/jog on treadmill (200 cal burn), 40 min bike, 20 min circuit training, 10 min elliptical (575 cal burn)

Will be so busy this weekend, actually from now on till the end of the year...

I would like to continue going to the gym once I reach my goal weight ... for maintainance and for health purposes. I am planning on exercising 4 times a week, a lot less then now but still exercising. I would love to do 2x bootcamp (the one I can't make now because of hubby working far away) and twice at home. I have a treadmill and I am thinking of investing into an elliptical and maybe a bike down the road.
So yeah, it is big bummer right now, I might talk to MIL to watch DD for an hour on Monday and Thurs. before DH gets home. We'll see.
Not to mention : the days I don't exercise I feel like eating like a horse all day...nothing is filling enough or sweet enough. I am scarred of falling back into my old ways and wake up one morning to start this journey all over again...
 
Hey Hajni.. well just thought i would stop by to see how you were doing since i have kinda been a stranger other then messenger since i haven't really even been good at updating my own dang diary... haha anyways as you know things have been quite good at home. Although I think i maybe getting sick again cause i am coughing and sneezing quite a bit and its annoying cause i don't wanna be sick before chirstmas.. and definately not next year if i can help it cause i am starting school January 21st 2008... yikes that seems like forever from now but really only what 46 days before i really do and then i am really going to be a stranger.. lol

anyways.. hope you get to your goal and find a solution to the gym deal... man that sucks so much. I know hubby and i just started talking about really how much we want to go to the gym like 3-5 times a week but at the minimum 3 days a week. So I know how it feels. we missed going to the gym or doing formal exercise and it just about drove me crazy.. haha after going to the gym with hubby i think i wanna keep up that and go for the membership which is either 59 per month or we pay for a full year and then get 2 years free.. just gotta see what we can afford and talk to the gym people.. which i am hoping to do that today cause i wanna be able to go to the gym whenever we want. anyways.. hubby just texted me and said he was done with his paper route so i am going to go but i'll let you know what we decide on the gym thing later..

OMG- I so hate this year! So sorry for your loss, Haj- I can't say I know how ya feel, but I'm sure I have some idea anyway. Remember the good times, and know that he is in a better place watching over you and yours!

I am not so good with expressing my emotions and I would like to just say that I am dealing with it in my own way which is resume my life's regular routine.
I went to the gym twice this week and exercised every day except Sat and Sun.
My eating is a so-so, more around 1600 cals then 1300.. I am not expecting miracles at the weigh in on Saturday but even holding last week's weight will be a success for me.
We are invited to a b.day party this Saturday where will be eggplant parm which I absolutely love and I don't intend to skip it. At least it counts towards my next week's weigh in...
I think my body is kind of content with the weight I am ... I am fluctuating between 143.6 and 142.6 all week. According to my spreadsheet I am not supposed to lose anything this week. I calculated my exercises and everything but seriously over-ate on Sat and Sun.

I am going to update my team-tread now.
