I am here representing the international society for bunny rights. We had a complaint about a hit and run bunny bash. We will be checking your bike for fur and flattened little bunny turds.
Yay, only a few days to go and then: hiking trip.
As usual I have to pack everything last minute, running around town to still get some stuff I knew I needed like two weeks ago
Weight the same as last week (197.8), not anticipating a drop on the trip either. Will be burning quite a few calories, but won't go under maintenance, as I need that energy the next day.
Just time for one of two more training-runs before my 10k race, super excited about that
Did my penultimate training for my 10 k race yesterday, and made it a serious test, panned a 45 min run a pace close to race speed.
It was rather warm, but that's not too bad. It might be warm on race day also.
Was as good training, so I'm felling pretty confident for the race.
Now packing my stuff for the hiking trip
So I'll be gone for a good week and a half.
Everybody have a great time and try not to make a mess of things when I'm gone, okay?
yup, returned yesterday.
Had a wonderful time, got soaked one day (it was raining hard all afternoon), but the other days were beautiful.
Figured to have hiked about 120 km last week, of which very few km's were flat, constant ascending & descending.
Here's a pic of my trip: View attachment 21310
Burned plenty of cals, but also took in some
They love their meats in Bavaria and Tirol, and their beers off course, and it would be rude not to eat and drink like the locals
weigh in tomorrow, let's see what the damage is...
Feeling like crap today, feels like I'm getting the flu or something. Really can't have that right now, so I'm trying to battle it with some good old fruit and antibiotics.
On top of that I ate too many potato chips today (well only one potato chip is already too many, but I ate a whole bag ).
And now I'm awake again in the middle of the night, feeling bloated, miserable and sick
Well, 10k race in my own town yesterday. What a nice event! Loads of spectators, and quite a lot of ppl I know, so got plenty of support.
Ran a super time of 47 min 03 secs, which is a 5 min improvement of my PB. Since it was my first 10k race, there was bound to be a big PR improvement but I'm super happy with my time. And I even can get up and the down the stairs without piratelegs
3 weeks from now is my next 10K race. Think I'm going to go a little bit easier in that one, enjoy the race and the surroundings a bit more.
Damn, did Speed 1.0 Alpha of Focus T25 today and feeling sore in the shoulders after a few punching moves.
Going running again tomorrow, next 10k race in 2,5 weeks time
Booked the flights for my two upcoming trips this week. Really looking forward to that
