Hi Angel.

Well done for getting in 33 minutes of exercise and avoiding junk food. That sounds like challenge points sitting there. Thankfully Kimberly has decreed that raisins are not junk - so I believe that my day has been ok too.
Your calories are better today too.
I think that it is a good idea you getting back into the swing of pampering and creaming yourself.
In reply to Kim in my diary I divulged why I havent been using Avon stuff - despite it being cheaper than the shops.
I hope that the rest of Friday goes well and continues to be goal reaching in every way for you.
Have a brilliant day tomorrow with Cory. I know that you will have some very special plans. Are you going to be taking photos?
Ok, I'm reading all the poo stuff in a few diaries, and I'm thinking it's the spelling that had some of us giggling about poo. I believe the correct way to spell it in the endearing sense and not the stinky sense is "pooh" like Winnie the Pooh. Just tell me if I'm being an annoying hairsplitter.
I like the idea of getting a bit glammed up and taking care of our appearance--says the girl who's still sitting in her sweatpants and zip up track suit jacket after returning from the gym...lmao! No makeup, and hair is pulled back in a ponytail. Yeah, I'm a vision of loveliness, there is no doubt.
Stacy you should come over and give me a makeover--or at the very least, shove me into the shower.
I hope you can stay strong with the choc pie tomorrow. I love Kim's idea of saving some for next week when you can eat it guilt free. But if it doesn't work out that way, don't beat yourself up. I just don't want it to be the cause of you getting eliminated.
LOL...Pooh is correct...I just got in the habit of spellin' it poo.
You know I'm a hick-ass with slang talk/spellin'.
Just look at my screen name!
I would love to come over for facials and girly make-overs.
I have always loved that!
I was a fab rep and could have really grown my business to real success I
think! The probelm: 5 million reps all shoved together and not enough customers for us all..lol
There are 3 reps in this complex - 2 on our street - 10 within' 5 blocks -
That's just one tiny part of my area all on the same side of the street.
Crazy - just crazy!
Hubby called tonight and will not be off tomorrow.
Cory's B-Day Celebration will have to wait till Sunday now.
For tomorrow on his B-Day, I'll grill us some hamburgers and healthy sides!
I will not have dessert but will take him for ice cream after dinner.
We can then play RB or boards games - just whatever he wants.
Sunday is going to be temptation hell for me y'all.
Cory decided he doesn't want to go eat.
He wants me to make homemade nachos!
TEX-MEX is my #1 Fav. Food/Weakness
I make everything homemade. The Queso/Sauce - Guacamoli -
I also make seasoned beef and chop tons of veggie toppings.
{toms/lett/onions/etc.}
Of course this is all piled on homemade tortilla chips I make!
Of course as mentioned - Choc. Cream Pie as well instead of cake.
He changed his mind bc he wants my MaeMae - Steph - and Bubba to come join us and all of us play Rock Band after.
Girl--you can still enjoy your Tex-Mex tomorrow. All you have to do is substitute lettuce or a tortilla for the chips (just for you, of course). Not quite as good, but better than nothing. How do you make your homemade chips? If they're not deep fried they're ok.
I can see why it's so hard to make it at Avon. There are just too many reps. Kinda like real estate--too many agents. Although with the market the way it's been, Michigan lost over 11,000 agents last year.
Sorry Cory's b-day plans got changed. I think you'll all have fun anyway--kind of makes it a 2-day party instead.
I think the last page of my diary. The reason I dont buy Avon is that I got such brilliant staff discount when at Elizabeth Arden fixing their computer systems (they couldnt do deliveries and it worried the hell out of them that they werent getting the stock into the shops that they gave me a great deal to get me to go in!) Anyway I ended up getting like a lifetimes supply of all sorts of creams and stuff that doesnt go out of date. I also got a fair bit of perfume but that must be pretty much out of date now. All year I have been going through supplies from then. I need to soon have a expedition among the boxed things in the garage to find another box of the stuff as I know I have tons more if only I can locate it. We still have loads of things in boxes from the last time we moved house.
I am sorry about hubby's work plans changing and you all having to change the plans for Cory's celebration. It is never nice to change plans.
Baby Boom is a good movie.
You are still a young woman and can become as qualified as you chose. I am sure that there will be opportunities to gain qualifications open to you. One of my friends in Greece has completed her education which was a dream of hers. She had left school early and married and had kids young - I think that she was married at 17. Well, when her youngest went away to university she effectively returned to school. She spoke to the education authorities about where she could find a course that she could fit in around her work commitments. She didnt go to her local school - but such a course was available to her and she has now completed her course. I spoke to her earlier this week and she is pleased that she did it because she feels that she has more career opportunities open to her now.
If you choose not to pursue further qualifications I am convinced that you will be able to build a rewarding career as employers see your many skills. The ability to deal with people is highly valued in many business situations. Remember - the world will put on you the value you put on yourself. Believe in your own skills and abilities.
Re Elizabeth Arden - it was just the way it happened. They knew that I knew the system that they were using for delivery really well - and it was totally broken and they were pretty stuck. I wasnt employed by them and they wanted me there that day. I was able to pretty much call the shots. I certainly hope that I find where the next batch of creams got packed up. Moving house is always a nuisance until everything gets unpacked and I spend too much time out walking to get much done here.
A job at Super*Target sounds good. A lot of supermarkets here are used to mothers wanting to work the kind of hours that you mention. I am sure that those hours will be quite reasonable to them. It could be really good if you get staff discount on all your groceries.
I hope that you are enjoying what must be an extra special day for you.
The job at ST does sound good. I was a cashier at Target for a few months during college. What about working while Cory's in school? The reason being, the kids in school can only work nights as well, so they usually need help during the daytime more. If you worked say 10am-3pm, then you could pick up Cory on your way home. Do they give discounts for groceries there? We don't have Super Target here, just plain old Target, but the Meijers (same thing as SuperT) only gives employee discounts on general merchandise. Hopefully ST is different.
How is Cory's birthday going? Is he enjoying himself? Any plans to go out with his friends?
Cory is havin' a good day. He's been w/friends and will be home soon.
I'll then make our grilled burgers and we can then do what he wants.
He may decide to just go to his room and play x-box live though..lol
He got microsoft points for his b-day which will let him buy ad-ons to games and stuff like that re: X-Box 360
He was thrilled.
So, I may be playin' the x-box in living room myself tonight, or watchin' movies.
That's ok.. We'll have the family celebration tomorrow.
RE: ST and the hours:
First, I'm still havin' horrible insomnia issues..
Next, I am 100% NOT a morning person and I'm set in my ways and cannot be rushed in the morning.
There is no way I could work while Cory was in school.
2nd - I know so many of you will think this is plum silly, but ZuZu is used to me bein' around and a SAHM.
I think of her truly as my daughter and not a dog/pet.
I have also read about this and talked to the vet and I know she would freak out:
Since she is used to the way everything has been since we brought her home at 7 weeks {She is also havin' a B-Day today! She is 2 ..I didn't mention it bc I'm sure it sounds so strange to talk about her the way I do..lol}, she could start grieving which can make dogs very sick and even cause them to die.
When we are gone just for a little while, she will not eat/drink until we are home.
I would worry myself to death over her. I don't want her to go through anything sad/harmful either!
So... 4:30 - 10PM would be great bc Cory will be home and she won't be alone.
I have no worries about Cory bc he is super mature/responsible.
He'll have 1-2 hours of homework to keep him busy as well as gettin' on X-Box..lol
Hubby's work will slow down to and then Cory won't even be alone any longer.
I plan on cooking dinner early so all Cory will have ta do is heat it up.
I'll be able to eat before work.
Isn't it cool that ZuZu was also born on Jan. 5th?
That is why we drove all the way to Paris Texas to get her.
Once I talked to the lady on the phone and then saw pics via e-mail, I knew she was meant for us.
She was my Valentine's Gift 2 years ago from hubby and Cory!
I was going through a horrible depression and feeling so lonely all the time and she was just what I needed!
Cory did as I thought..In his room with B-Day gift.
He's havin' fun which is what it's all about.
He's excited he'll have a 2-day celebration.
I'll get to spend quality time w/him tomorrow when he's free. LMBO!
That's a teen 4 ya!
I just cleaned the kitchen up and I'm gonna watch another fav. movie of mine. Raising Hellen.
I'm tired and my back is hurting..?
I have this quarter sized red bump.. It has made my whole right side of back sore. I hope something didn't bite me outside.!?
It is really strange.
Anyway, here's my food:
Usual Coffee
SF-CIBSw/SB
WW-MG Pita Melt {ham and cheddar} 1 tsp. Hellmans Light Mayo - 7 RF Triscuits with 1 tsp. Green Onion & Chive Cream Cheese divided/spread on them - CF-DDP
2 Homemade Grilled Cheese Burgers {lean ground sirloin - 4 oz. ea.}
2 WW-MG Buns - 2 tsp Light Hellmans Mayo - 2 slices American Cheese -
1 dill pickle spear - toms/red onions
not even 1/2 c. mixed veggies
2 c. Low Sugar CT Pink Lemonade
Make sure that you do all 5 hours of exercise this week and if you can save the party treats in the fridge until Friday that would be a really good idea as I think our team is bound to lose 3 people because 2 have not shown up. It would be foolish to convince ourselves that our team will have no eliminations. If they dont show up (or if they do and havent been really really good on rules that they might not know about) they will be 2 of the 3. That means that one person out of the 11 remaining is pretty sure to go. My weight is currently up on the start weight - and I expect it to stay up too as I am likely to retain water this week. I am just hoping that someone gives in to temptation at some point or doesnt get all their exercise done or my weight gain will eliminate me.
That red bump on my back I spoke of has to be a "bite."
My entire right side of back hurts so bad. I didn't sleep well bc I kept rolling on it and my muscles hurt. I may end up ruining everthing for Cory today bc I may end up at CareNow to see the doctor. Hubby looked real close and couldn't see any holes like you would see with a spider bite.
A couple of years ago, a spider bit my lip.. I had this hole on my bottom lip{the size of a pea} and all the skin died around it! It would ooze and was super sore. It was just terrible and it took a month to heal! There were two little holes and the hospital said that's how they knew it was some sort of spider.
Thank gosh it wasn't a recluse or my lip would have fell off! LOL
We have the most nasty lookin' spiders around here. They just look harmful.
I wash the sheets all the time {you guys know me}and when I clean the bedrooms, I always stick the vacuum hose in the cracks of beds so if anything is there it will get sucked up. I also use hose for space behind beds you can reach. I always have spiders on my mind bc of what happened with my lip.
I truly think this happened outside though bc I was fine all day yesterday..?
Oh well...
I need to finish my coffee bc I have to run to the store for the stuff I need to make dinner. I also need to tidy up around here.
