Talk with your doctor if needed and just decide that TODAY is the day you will begin a new journey.

Don't wait till tomorrow.

Start now.

Even as you read this, if you have had unhealthy foods/junk, just start right this minute with better choices/portion control.
Go take a walk or get in some sort of exercise before the day is over.

Go to the library or a discount book store and look for healthy cookbooks and Non-Fad Diet Plans.

It is so easy for our nature to reason ourselves right out of it.

I have tons of experience when it comes to this. :D

Everyone has their bag of rocks to carry. That does make it hard on us all, but if we try and take a few moments each day to polish those rocks, the journey can begin and be a lot smoother.

My bag of rocks?

Chemical Disorders - OCD - ADD -
Those can make my bag heavy at times and I want to give up.

Emotional Garbage - I gotta get that stuff to the dump.

It's Too Hard...{More Reasoning}
Man, this type of journey means hard work - time - discipline - organizing - planning - and commitment!

My new outlook is like this:

Yes, the above things are going to be tough sometimes.

My bag of rocks will be heavy and I'm going to feel like the journey is too long and hard to want/mess with.

BUT, if I stick it out and keep going; I will see the rocks in a new way. Before long they will be polished.
At the END of the journey I'll no longer have rocks;
I'll have Gem Stones! :grouphug:

It really is great that we are in the same team again! I am not even going to ask whether anyone considers raisins to be junk food as a joke as I would be so upset if someone said "yes" and I couldnt have them or I would get kicked out.

It is also great how you are so controlled again with your food and exercise - it is like you have rediscovered your determination to make it all happen, whatever the cost.

I checked out Kimberly's diary - you know that both Kimberly and I will nag you if we think that you are slacking off.

Have another goal reaching day. Every day seems to be goal reaching since your fresh start though!:hurray:

I love the Spitfire grill and Corina Corina, I've seen both so many times it's crazy! But they are ones I will watch every time they come on tv.

This cannot become a habit.

I have to make time to eat/care for myself.

Sorry I haven't been over to the cafe since the first day. I just have gotten soooo busy again. I know you understand that! LOL
Sounds like everything is going well for you.
I don't know but I thought your cals looked fine. I think mine might have even came in lower after my exercise.
I was thinking about eating more but hubby told me that if I wasn't hungry then I shouldn't eat. So I took is advice for once! LOL

YIKES, you certainly need a bit more on the calorie intake, your body alone burns a lot just getting up every morning and I think anything under 1500 will leave you tired and run down. I know you usually don't eat this low, so I'm not worried. AHHHHH A new grill, mmmmm we grill out ALL the time, actually I grilled out Tuesday night, Chicken breast and hot links for the boys. It was FRIGID outside, but hey there is no better taste from meat other than juicy grilled. MMMMMMMMMMM

Stay focused and stay energized, I know you can do it, and you know I'll be running right next to you, because we are right around the same weight and well, I can't have you running around looking all skinny on me now can I??? Now, this is just plum crazy and has me stumped?

A few days ago I was 173.2

RHC isn't due for a couple of weeks, so I have no idea re: #'s..

I know it's not fat/real 1.4 lb. gain

Maybe it's water?

Anywho,

I have some errands to run today - need to exercise - and do some light chores.

One good thing though: I use SF Puddin' - Skim Milk - FF Cool Whip
The only thing I can't change is graham cracker crust.
I also grate fresh chocolate shavings on top..
 
You can do it girlfriend, don't give in to any of those treats!! save yourself a piece of pie for next week, when this weeks bonus is done!

It's funny how we are right about the same weight. LOL LOL your my height right?? I'm 5.6 1/2. And those indoor grills are Great!!

YEP I saw it, and now I understand why I'm a Poo! HAHAHAHA

I have 100% confidence in you, that you will do just fine!!! I know you want this weight loss as bad as I do right now, and I'm determined to do whatever it takes right now. LOL LOL I did so bad in the last challenge, I'm in serious need to rectify that.

My AVON Lady called me back and said the new books were in.

I told her to bring them by tomorrow..{I told her the first of Dec. I wouldn't need any till I called bc I knew I wouldn't get to buy anything. lol
I'm the type of person that does not like to window shop - browse through catalogs if I can't buy at least one item!}

Anyway, on to the Little Persoanl Goals:

After my "falling off the wagon episode," everything stopped.

I need to get back to my strict skin care routine and fixin' myself up more.

Time for manicures/pedicures to!

It's so funny how the little things can give you more pep - want to - and will power.

I guess if you feel pretty, it helps to keep rolling forward and ahead.

I'm an AVON freak bc I used to be a rep and got myself addicted! ;)

I use everything - and mean everything!

I love their ANEW line for your face/neck = moisture/wrinkle care.

I need to start using that 2 x again.

I also need to lotion up everyday with my Skin-So-Soft line and use my cellulite cream before bed!!

I do my own manicures/pedicures..{I have equipment bc of bein' a rep/beauty advisor for over 3 years.}

I know if I can get back to my lil routine I'll feel better/look better which will help boost me up during my weight-loss journey.
