OMG this is so awesome!!! Omg.. like 5 of us!! The BBR Club! (Belly Button Ring Club)! THis is sooo cool! Ok.. since there are 5 so far.. I am making a whole new thread for it :)

Haha! I had mine pierced back in '95!! I had to remove it when I was prego with my first child..lol...you guys are making me feel OLD!
 
wooo so many people getting their belly button's pierced! this is exciting!

i went to the gym this morning and weighed myself and i'm back up to 135 :mad: i've basically been plateaued for a month bc in the last month all i've lost is 2-3 pounds. i'd like to think that i've gained muscle since this is the first time i've done proper weight lifting, but when i measure myself i don't see a lot of difference except an inch or so around my stomach and hips. my arms are stuck where they were and my legs have only lost about 1/2 an inch.

SO--new goals for this coming up month:
-drink 100oz of water instead of 72 oz.
-exercise in the morning before breakfast (but eat some cottage cheese before i go--who knew that stuff was so packed with protein)
-try to keep my protein intake high...around 75-100 g a day
-keep mixing up my cardio, don't just stick to the elliptical or treadmill (i like those bc they burn the most cals but i guess my body has adapted :( )
-drink my green tea and take a vitamin B complex everyday
-keep cal intake at 1200 and try not to go lower


i really want to get down to 120 so i can get that hot piercing ;)

Is it ok that I really don't have a partner? I think mine trotted off to the land of the unknown, never to be seen or heard from again. :(.

I JUST WANT TO LOSE SOME FLIPPING WEIGHT.

And get my belly button pierced. :eek:.
 
how did everyone's day go?

i ate 1500 calories today :mad: :mad:
but i did make it to the gym!

tomorrow's father's day so i have to go out to dinner again (i went out today with my mom who was in town..actually we went out to lunch also which is prob why my cal intake was so crazy high today)

i really need to stick to eating 1200 calories a day. i dont know why i've been so hungry lately. argg

i'm making a list of 10 reasons why i want to lose weight and posting it somewhere so i'll be reminded. obviously getting a piercing will be one of the reasons ;)

summer, i think posting a list like that will be very very helpful...and it's such a great idea!

i didn't eat too much today...but i went to a party and drank a lot...

got on the scale this morning, still at 148, so i guess i can't complain!

had a yogurt/fruit/grape nuts parfeit thing for breakfast.. to my recollection thats fairly healthy. And a glass of unsweetened OJ.

So I start the Friday Scale Day this week... but I weighed this morning as my last weighing day before the Fridays... and had lost 1.5lb. I guess that aint bad.. I was kinda trying more for 3... I scrapped my Canada Day goal.. no way I can make it... but I still have the BBR goal.. and I think thats even better.
 
avi, 1.5 lbs is awesome! i'd kill to have a loss like that in a week! now i'm happy if the scale isn't going upwards instead of down lol

today's father's day, so breakfast involved croissants, but i only had a small bite and stuck to my kashi cereal and a slice of reduced-cal toast with some sugar free jam. snack was a south beach diet 100 cal bar and lunch was a turkey sandwich with an apple.

dinner is going to be at applebees, but they have a weight watchers section and i found a sandwich i can order for just 370 calores :D i love it when restaurants provide like this. makes life so much easier and i dont have to guesstimate. i think i'm definately going to be able to keep my cal intake at 1200 or less today!

tomorrow's monday ich, meaning the beginning of another week of work and working out. My weight goal for this coming up friday is to be around 132 or so. Hopefully that'll come true!

(loving the bbr goal still :p )
 
Well.. I'm not going to have much for lunch... maybe grab an protein energy bar (and make that my lunch) because my parents are doing a double.. my birthday supper and Fathers Day supper tonight. So I am going to indulge in a nice size steak or prime rib :) Mainly just meat and vegies.. I am not a potatoes kinda girl.. and not big on the gravy either. I classify meat as healthy calories.. :)
 
We're having steak tonight too. The only problem is...I AM A POTATO GIRL.

:(.

Maybe there won't be any. Or maybe if there are, I won't eat them.

Or maybe just a bite. :eek:.
 
LOL. well. for supper I had roast beef.. roast chicken and some poached fish... (it was buffet) But there came this huge problem... they had 26 different kinds of deserts included with the buffet! I wont describe what was there... but they had something I really like... alot of what I really like.

I didn't have 1 :D

Lately I just feel so determined to loose weight... I figure missing a few of my fav things wont hurt me. The only thing I am going to miss is no one is making/getting me a cake for my birthday.. first year ever cause i jsut moved out :( *sniffles*

My posting wont be as often as I just moved and have to phone the phone company and get some wireless for my computer.. there isn't an open wireless network where I live. :/

Personal acheivement of the day: Walked to work (with a blimy 20 lb pack on my back) 40 minutes. :)
 
Hey, what kind of diets are you all on? The South Beach diet has been working great for me so far, first 2 weeks are just a bit rough...not much variety.

you could make your own cake... (I have some recipes for some fairly healthy but tasty cakes i'll dig out for ya_) then invite some new neighbors over to share :) it's much less calories when you share :)
