Hi!
I weigh 229 as of today and my goal is to lose twenty pounds in ten weeks. That will get me to 209 and then I can reevaluate on the goal to get to 190 which is my preferred weight that I was last at in 2014.
I was up to 248 on Feb. 5th of this year and said enough and started to exercise and diet. I lost 20 in like 8 weeks and than flattened out as I stopped exercising and started to eat like crap after having to move apartments twice in a few weeks and two deaths in my family.
My challenge is that I have a torn shoulder and can't lift weights, swim and play golf which are my favorites. I also have a bad knee so Im very limited in what I can do. This leaves me with walking, hiking and biking which I all enjoy.
I will:
Ride my bike twice a week for at least 20 miles weekly total
Walk/Hike four days a week for at least 15 miles weekly total
I have cut out all soda, fast food, junk food. I also have a massive milk and Gatorade addiction and will be cutting both entirely out of my diet. I dont drink coffee, so it looks like I will only be drinking water and smoothies. I will give myself two beers a week as I have no choice as I work on a project where I have to visit a craft brewery at least once a week.
Last year I was at 240 at the beginning of the year and got to 195ish while posting on another forum, but the second part of the year I got depressed and skyrocketed back up. So looking to avoid that by making solid gains by great choices and to form a foundation that is very healthy so I dont go yo-yo back as its really taking a toll on my health.
Thanks!
