Garn's weight loss diary

Today I will probably do something similar on the stairs. I went 50 minutes on the stairs on Tuesday.
 
Monday, wed, friday I weight train, but I didn't get a chance to so I just did the eliptical.
 
Well 30 minutes on the eliptical and 45 minutes lifting. I am exhausted. Lunch should pick me back up...I am so frustrated, I am taking some medication that the dr. said may make me gain weight. Since I have been on it, I haven't gained weight, but I haven't lost any either. :(
 
Good job at the gym. With so many doing so well, guess that means I have to kick some butt at the gym tonight, also!!!

Hang in there with regards to the medication. Just keep motivated about your eating and exercise... Good luck tomorrow! :hurray:
 
Todays workout. 1 hour of turbo kick boxing class and 20 minutes eliptical. I am going to get off this damn plateau on way or another.
 
Well, I missed my first day of exercise in a long time. My hard work from last week seems to be working though, as I think I may be starting to lose again. Lets hope that is the case.

It's ok to miss a day here and there. Isn't it funny how bad you feel about it, though? That is a great sign of your progress.

Yes it is funny how bad you feel. I feel better today cause I hit my workout hard yesterday.

HELP!!! I had cream of wheat and milk this morning and I am feeling like I want something to eat again...this rarely happens to me in the morning, but my next "meal" isn't until 10 my time. It is 8:50 right now.
 
Eat a couple of hard boiled eggs. The protein should help curve your appetite, and you won't be consuming a ton of food.

Chew gum and drink water. If it goes away, then it is false hunger. If it's still there, then grab a healthy snack a bit early. That's the advice of Dr. Trops (not a real doctor nor do I play one on TV)
